I wouldnt mind being one. But then there are a lot of people on here that are probably more qualified than me :)

Not to be rude Scarclaw, but I don't think that idea would work out.
One, it'd be much too confusing to be switching forums all the time. Also, we wouldn't be able to move the current lovable roleplays to your forum. However, if we created a roleplay board, I COULD move them. (However I still don't like the RP board idea.)

Also, as Duskheart said, its strange to have RPs that belong here on another site.

Lastly, there are still problems with thsi whole assitant mod thingie. There are mods and there are members. The mods jobs are to moderate the boards/threads, also have fun on the boards as well. The members jobs are to behave and have fun also. There is no job that could fit in between those. Every assitant mod would have to be made a fulll-time mod, which is not going to happen.

As Levistorm pointed out, it is extremely difficult to find people who will be trustworthy and active. You may THINK that there are lots of people on here like that, but there's less than you think. Trust me.

Same for me! Now that you guys put it that way, it seems like waaaaaay too much work for us mods! And also, the RPs do seem to be dying...which is sad, but true. Most of them are only still going because of a few members posting. So please take away my "YES" vote and change it to "No, too much work". Thanks!

It was a good idea Scarclaw!!! Have you thought about opening a RP forum? Sorta like this but for RPs only?
