Rainpelt padded out of the nursery. It was strange to think that just two dawns ago she was out on a hunting patrol. And now, she was sitting comfortably outside the nursery, without a care in the world. I have to tell him soon, she said to herself. The she-cat had been thinking of the tom who was now going to be the father of her kits, Skyleaf. He was a loner. His mother had been a Clan cat but had left her clan to be with her mate. She had decided to still raise her son by the ways of the warrior code. Rainpelt had met him three seasons ago on a independent hunting patrol. Her heart fluttered from the thought of his handsome dark blue-gray pelt, and his deep blue eyes. I have to tell him today, she decided and padded toward the entrance to the camp.

Ebonystar looked about the camp for the danger when Roughpaw stopped out of breath. He saw Raipelt pad to the entrace to the camp, "Rainpelt, wait Roughpaw says there is danger out there i dont think you should leave the camp with out someone to come with you." he looked around the camp for somone to go with Rainpelt. "I think you should stay here," he meed but if is urgent i will escort you," his deep charming mew rang across the clearing.

Rainpelt looked deep into his stunning eyes. She knew that if she were any other cat, her heart would have melted at the thought of the handsome leader going anywhere with her alone, but the she-cat was far too distracted by her own mate. Her true love. "Uh, no thanks Ebonystar. I just was...going to stretch my legs. I get anxious lying in that den all day." She laughed half-heartedly and took a few paces away from the opening that led to the forest.

Ebonystar was worried, if there is danger out there somthing bad could happen. Ebonystar turned and padded over to his deputy. He then mewed softly, "I need you to find a cat to follow Rainpelt and make sure she nothing bad happens to her."
