1337 is a language g33ks made for the internet. "1137" is translated to "Leet". If you're luckey enough to know it, than you can talk with others not understanding. It works great in class.

Note to friend;

"(He is so crushing on you!)"

Passing it along, the teacher sees it, and reads it in front of the class.
Her words;
"Line equals line three, line five, fifty, left parenthicy 'r' line under slash line five line equals line one right-slash left-slash right-slash nine, zero right-slash left-slash right-slash, apostraphy right-slash zero line equals line."

The whole class cracks up.
