Chapter 15:

Ray looked at Speed, his eyes full of fear.
Speed tilted his head and looked at Ray, he mewed "Is something wrong?"
"Nothing, it's just my ears are killing me.." Ray mewed, he pushed his long ripped up ear out of his face.
"Whoa.." Speed mewed and looked at his ears "What'd they do to ya?"
"When they came and took me from my parents, my mom refused to let me go, well they could'nt get a hold of me, my mom had me well protected, but they saw my long ears, so that gray one-"
"Ringo..." Speed growled.
"He grabbed me by my ears and started to pull, my mom grabbed me and started to pull harder, that mean ol' wolf you said was named Ringo, well his teeth ripped my ears like this and they killed my mother. Then I was brought here.."
"I can't believe it.." Speed mewed "They did'nt kill my mother, they just took me away."
"You got lucky, they did'nt scar you for life!" Ray yowled.
"I know, I know." Speed mewed calmly.
"I lost everything...My mom is dead, my dad is still alive, but I have no way to get to him..."
"Don't be sad." Speed mewed "I'm here with all these wolves."
"I know.." Ray mewed and looked at the ground.
"It's not so bad. I mean look at me! I look stronger than ever!" Speed mewed and ran in a circle.
"I guess your right." Ray mewed.
"I am right." Speed mewed "Free is really nice."
Speed padded away and to where Free's den was.
