Warrior Cats: The Four Clans

This is Chapter 7 of the story... it is rather short compared to the chapters i have been putting up... well anyway! Enjoy!



            Goldpaws mouth hung wide open as the odd black and white tom stood beside her. His mouth pulled in to a smirk as he studied each of her companions. "Well I am assuming this rag tag band of rascals are your fellows then?" He turned his glinted yellow eyes to her. Goldpaw couldnt even speak. She didnt mean to lead this rogue-like warrior to her friends.

Blackfoxs eyes rested on Eaglepaw. Goldpaw was afraid that Blackfox was going to say something stupid or show Eaglepaw some sympathy. Yet when Blackfox opened his mouth to talk his words were, "Hey, your blind!" His eyes were wide with amazement and his mouth pulled in to a crooked sarcastic grin. Goldpaw whipped her eyes to see a look of almost confusion on Eaglepaws face. It was obvious that Blackfox held no sympathy and was not really amazed at his discovery of the blind tom.

Before the chance to retort vanished Eaglepaw stretched his sightless eyes wide. "Really?! Well this is news to me! Who knows how long i would have done through life without knowing this vital information! Thank you ever so much!" Eaglepaws voice dripped heavily with sarcasm. Blackfox smiled widely making his eyes narrow to slits. It was a rather cute look. Goldpaw turned her eyes away for a moment.

"Why sir you are most certainly welcome!" Blackfox replied in a cheery voice, as if he thought he had actually told Eaglepaw something he didnt know. Once the black and white toms grin faded slightly he turned his yellow eyes to Duskpaw. "Well hello there beautiful!" He tilted his head to the side in a charming kind of way. Duskpaws eyes stretched open wide and her mouth hung open at the bold stranger.

"What do you think you are doing here!" came the chivalrous voice of Ebonypaw. Goldpaw turned her light blue eyes to him. The black toms fur bristled making him twice the size he really was, his ice blue eyes blazing with anger at the stranger.

Blackfoxs grin faded slightly and he narrowed his eyes. At that moment he looked dangerous. Like he could easily take Ebonypaw without much thought on the matter. Ebonypaws shoulders stiffened more and a look of worry flashed through his eyes. Yet Blackfoxs smile spread on his face again and his eyes became slits as he did so. "Well, it doesnt matter what I think I am doing, I know what I am doing. All that matters is what you think I am doing, I need this information if I am going to come up with a decent lie." His shoulders shook with his rugged and uneven laugh.

Ebonypaw looked flustered now. He lashed his thick tail side to side and got ready to pounce. "Ebonypaw!" Goldpaw felt her own voice come out of her throat even through she didnt mean it to. "He isnt worth it." She finished. Ebonypaws mouth hung open as shock spread on his face. Blackfox turned a curious glance her way.

He flicked his head back making the odd tuft of fur on his head whipped slightly. Goldpaw glanced at the ground angrily. "Well I didnt think you would come around to me so fast." She felt him press his face to hers, "So you have fallen in love with me already?" He grinned devilishly. Goldpaw jumped away from him.

"Who would?!" She growled and Blackfoxs uneven laugh filled her ears. Goldpaw felt Ebonypaws cold gaze on her shoulder. She merely kept her eyes away refusing to meet his ice blue stare.
