Hmm. Haven't posted an entry in awhile.

Then again, I haven't been active...

ANYWAYS.

Hey again, my people. :D

So anyways...

TONS of auditions for music this week! o-o
On Friday, I auditioned for the A Capella Womens' choir at the high school I'm going to next week. And I made callbacks! :D So callbacks were yesterday, and it was kinda scary, cuz there were a bunch or 11th graders there too. Also the normally-fun-and-hilarious choir teacher warned us that she would be really strict and not fun-and-hilarious that day, because she had to judge us fairly.
I think I did okay. Well, I HOPE I did okay...

And then yesterday, I decided to audition for a solo in my middle school choir. about 10 people auditioned and I was in the top 4! :D So I had to audition again today, so our teacher could narrow it down to the one soloist. And I didn't get it D: But it's okay, I was really nervous so that's probably why I didn't get the solo. And I'm working on my nervousness issues...whenever I play an instrument or sing alone, it's like -heart-pounding-a-million-miles-an-hour- and -shaking-so-much-I-fall-out-of-my-chair.

And two days ago was my birthday! :D

Whew. Auditions. I really really hope I get in to the A Capella choir...

"I eat nerves for breakfast." That's what my friend said to me one day when I was nervous about something. Yeah... He was kinda crazy that day from nerves. His hands were SHAKING. Hahaha, I shouldn't be laughing, but it was pretty funny. Anyways, I tried out for a solo one year. The music teacher hated me though, and was VERY-VERY-VERY-VERY biased in her decision. The teacher's-pet got the solos. Yes, soloS. And of course you did okay, Flightie! I'm not going to say anything more because I seem to be filled with bad luck. xD

Decided to update my journal more often.

Yeah, I know...I say that a lot, but this time, hopefully it's true.

By the way, the "current" things were probably stolen from someone, so...deal with it.

hmm.

I decided i'm happy to be single. A lot of people around me are getting boyfriends/girlfriends...going into high school, y'know, it's a "necessity" for some people to be able to say they "have someone..."

I do get jealous, it's true, and I admit, I -cough- dream about having someone. But I realize, it's not necessarily a boyfriend...

I just want someone to hold, someone to hold me, someone that I can tell everything to, someone who will listen, who will care. Someone to love me.

But not just for the purpose of having a boyfriend, and not just so I can say that Im "busy on Saturday" because I'm "going out with my boyfriend."

I just want someone to be close to.

Random thought, but there you go...

=] i'm the exact same way. its such a weird feeling huh? its not the fact you want the physical of having a boyfriend, its the fact you want the emotional side. Someone who cares for YOU and puts aside everything FOR YOU! im the same way. sounds selfish, but its what we need at times =]

ohemgee guess what, me and my friends are doing this AWESOME project about CONSERVING WATER!!!! we decided to take it a step BEYOND the normal class presentation and art project...we made...wait for it...a WEBSITE.

oh, yes.

some peeps dont realize how much water the USA uses...so we're trying to educate people about conserving water, and cutting back on water pollution.
