Three lines reminder.

Looky; I gots permission to make a warning! =D

Seriously, though, the other mods and I (especially Moonstar) are seriously annoyed at the lack of posts contianing three, full lines. I have one thing to say:
Take it up a notch, or lose the RP board.
We're serious. You guys wanted an RP board, and we gave it to you. What do you do? You ignore rules.
Again, paease put more effort into your posts. If you can't tihnk of a good enough post, then don't post at all -- wait for someone else to post, and see if you can make a quality post off of that.

Thank you.

P.S. This thread was mde late de to my being inactive. Sorry 'bout that. XD

No real reason for this, but I figured it'd help a couple of people out to know this.

When we say three lines, we mean three lines once it's posted, not while you're typing the post. So, example (yay! I love giving examples!)

This is a post that is three lines long in the posting box thingy.

Jake ran forward, pointing his gun at the nearest zombie. Pulling the trigger, he let loose a bullet into its skull, watchinging it crumple to the ground. Next, he pulled out his sword, rolling towards a nearby imp, and stabbed the blade into its stomach.

(Graphic...ish, yes, and I apologize for that. But the World's End RP is the only one I have a character in, so...)
Anywho, this psot comes out as either one or one and a half lines long. This next one, however, is written with eight lines in the posting box.

Jake and Deyna charged towards the edge of the wall, ducking behind the battlements for cover. Jake grabebd his beam rifle, took a deep breath, and then poked the tip of it out into the open. Looking through the scope, he examined what they were facing.
Looks like a couple of Cyber Imps, some Puppeteers, and a whole load of zombies, he thought, frowning. Dang it...
A sudden burst of hot plasma pulled him from his thoughts, narrowly missing his left ear. He pulled himself behind the battlement again, praying for help.

That's eight lines, which means four lines when posted. Not only is it longer, but it has more description -- something which is desired in an RP post.

On another note, some may argue that you may not always be able to come up with three lines. What I usually do when faced with this is wait for someone else to post.
See, by doing this, you get more time to think up a good post, and more to work off of. While one person may not have much structure for your post, someone else might.

So, the points here?

*Eight lines in the posting box = three lines when posted.
*3+ line posts are desirable for any RP.
*Try not to post if you don't think you can come up with three lines -- wait until someone else posts, and try to work off of that.
*You should join World's End before it gets filled up.[/advertisement]

Happy role-playing.
