Blackfox trotted out of the apprentices den and headed for Fangdust. "Well, now that, that is settled, What would you have us do fearless deputy." He grinned largely. Blackfox had been of very little use this morning on the patrol because he had to bring Ivyheart back so he was itching to do some sort of good. His tail wagged side to side happily and he glanced up at the older tom with large expectant golden eyes. He completely ignored the burning glare he was sure Hazelwing was giving him.
Shadowpaw quietly padded over to a shadowy corner & layed down. He stretched his weakly muscled limbs. His long, brown tipped tail curled around his small frame. He watched Redpaw & Blackfox for a moment before he yawned & slowly fell asleep. He nearly blending in perfectly with the eerie shadows of the corner as he slept quietly.
Fangdust smiled light-heartedly. At least Blackfox was seeing good about this. "No, it's alright. You can go eat, rest, do whatever. I..." His sentence trailed off, and his gaze scowered around the camp. "I'll try to make sure nobody kills Redpaw." The gray tom chuckled, clearly aware of the fact that pretty much everyone heard him. With a nod, as Blackfox left to do whatever, Fangdust sat down as he began to groom his front paws. His tongue brushed gently across the fur and skin on his feet, and his expression was troubled.
Stretching his limbs lightly, the deputy tried to think of something to do. Maybe checking on the leader would be a good idea.

We all have our moments: A moment to cry, a moment to laugh. A moment to be held, a moment to be let go. A moment to be sad for not having what we want, and a moment to be happy with what we got.
Yeah, we all have those moments. And I advise you not to put them to waste.
Shadowpaw's head shot up & he sniffed the air. His eyes widened in alarm whe he smelled something wrong. He quickly got up & started to run outside the camp. He ran faster when the scent got stronger. He reached the river & saw a small, soaking wet she-cat. He ran over to her & tried to carefully pull her away from the river by the scruff of her neck.
Tinypaw felt herself being drug across the ground and wondered who it could be. She sniffed and smelled Shadowpaw. She was thankful that is was him and not a different cat from another clan. Her long orange fur was soaked and stuck to her sides making her look like a drowned rat. She opened her eyes and coughed. Her throat and eyes stung. She looked up at him thankful. She tried to say thank you but nothing escaped her mouth. It was to dry. SHe couldn't get up she was to weak she just layed there.

"Well get there if its where we want to be and if not, well then I guess we never really lost anything in the first place."
Shadowpaw gentily lifted Tinypaw onto his back. His legs trembled under the weight of her wet fur. He walked back to camp as fast as he could. He entered the camp after a few minutes & walked over to Hazelwing. He lifted Tinypaw of his back & onto the soft grass. "She almost drown." he explained to Hazelwing. He looked up at the medicine cat hoping she could help Tinypaw. He kept close to Tinypaw to try to keep her warm.
Walking over to them, Florestapaw rolled her eyes at Fangdust and stated in a bored tone, "I was only... Because you can feel it too...?" Her statement became a question as she stood there. Her light green eyes from from serious to confused as she sat there, the sun striking her back as she looked at her deputy. She closed her eyes and said in a low voice, "I don't know..." She felt... an odd feeling from Redpaw, a feeling of terror and horrible things. But she was shaking it off; her imagination. She was merely an apprentice, no one would listen to her. Blackfox had proved that point. Looking to Fangdust, she said, "Well, this has been a mess. Let's see what else we can conjour up in a couple of sun-highs. Hopefully answers, but I don't know..." Florestapaw's light-green eyes looked to Fangdust, expectant for no reason what-so-ever.

"Fine, MOTHER." Hiddenshadow sighed playfully. "I think I can walk, so please let me down." Without waiting for her, he leaped off her back only to crumple to a weak pile of fur on the ground. "Oops," he sighed, trying to pick himself up.

" I'm... I'm sorry.... I shouldn't have said that about Redpaw. Excuse me, i have to do something. " Ivyheart sighed and padded over to the freash kill pile. She nosed through it to find the small body of a vole, still warm. She grasped lightly in her jaws, and padded over to the a bush to eat. She set the fresh-kill down and started to eat. She thought, I souldn't have sayed that about Redpaw, it was just mean and wrong.
