Your team must write an Adoptables Board review. Your review should include creative ways to express your ideas of this board. Do not go overboard, though. you still want to center the review around the Adoptables board. Do not be afraid to give critique or negative sides to the Adoptables board; reviews usually list the positives and negatives anyway.
Please Include: 1. Inviting images 2. At least three paragraphs of well-thought out critique/praise/feedback on the board. However, I am not judging on length, so don't extend your review too long. 3. Creative sections (not required, but suggested)
Rules: 1. Everybody must particpate, whether they help with ideas, the making of the review, the text, taking screenshots, whatever. 2. Do not hog all the work. This is a big project so it is helpful to have everyone participate. 3. No cheating. 4. Have fun with it! This is a creative task.
I will be judging the reviews myself. They will be judged on: -Creativity of the review -How interesting/well-thought the information is
Winners will not have to vote off a team member. Losers will have to vote off a team member.
Deadline: The final review should be put together and posted on this thread before or on Saturday, February 7th, 2009. That gives you about two weeks to complete your booklets. I suggest starting now so you don't lose any time! This project is big!
This is team crowfeather's submit for challenge 3!

Warrior Cats: A classic way to bring the idea of Apprentices, having a Warrior Cat seems more than fun. I mean, who wouldn't want their own little Ebonycloud, WindClan Deputy, or Lilacpool, RiverClan Meddie cat? If I were in a clan, I'm sure I would grab one of these little cuddlers and squease it to death.
But is it all really that sweet?
Warrior cats take a lot of training to own. You must make sure it learns to Clean the Elder's Den completely. Teach it to fight, which may cause problems in itself. It must be taught manners, and how to Hunt.
I see a snag in the "Teaching to Fight" part. In looking for a fighting move, the best place to look would be the Warriors Field Guide: Secrets of the Clans. It will become a tremendous challenge for those not owning a copy of this, or one where an Apprentice is taught a move.
If you don't like to do research, I wouldn't recomend this Adoptable.
In the virtual world, there are a variety of cats available. (Picture by Tabbystripe.)
Cats: Lions, Tigers, and House Cats, oh my! Everything from large ferocious felines, to purring lazy fur-balls, this seems a most popular choice. Most users on this site already own a cat or two, and would enjoy seeing it come to life on this board.
But how do these pets differ from Warrior Cats?
Well, House Cats are obviously one of the easyest to handle. All they need is food, water, a loving home, and a few toys. Wild cats on the other hand require a bit of research, but don't stray farther than Google! It's pretty simple. You just need to find out what it eats.
Cats can eat donuts, right??? (Picture by Tabbystripe)
All cats like fish, right?
You can make any breed of dog in the virtual world. (Picture by Tabbystripe)
Dogs: At first glance, the dogs seem to be more trouble than they're worth. I mean, who wants to cater to a dog's every need? A digital one, even?
But combing through the info has given me further insight. The only difference between the domesticated cat and dog, are walks. Cats don't need walks--Dogs do. Wild dogs on the other hand, need only food an entertainment.
It may seem hard, but dogs are just as easy as cats.
... In the digital world at least.
Frogs: What do you wish would roll over and croak? No, not your brother, a frog! They seem the easyes to handle, just needing a habitat, and food. Who wouldn't want a little slippery, green thing that won't sit still?! Yeah, I think I'm not advritising this one good...
Horses/Ponies: Haven't you always wanted a pony? Get one here! Feed it, give it water, and hop on for a ride! No cleen-up nessicary.
Someone even adopted a opossom from the kennel "Pawz". (Picture by Tabbystripe)
Add your Own! Thanks to a brilliant idea, you can have any petto your heart's desire-- Even ones not yet listed! Just fill out the forum and post in in the appropriate places--- Whala! A new Virtual Adoptable is born!
Wow, I think I've convinsd myself to hop on over and start adopting!
Sorry about the late judgement, I've been super busyyy. Team Squirrelflight: I loooove your content. It's very well-thought out, and I can tell that a lot of time was put into writing it. The pictures are nice. However, I think this review was lacking when it came to creativity. There wasn't really anything besides illustrations and text. Team Crowfeather: I loooove your creative sections. They're pretty and colorful, fun to look at too! However, I think your content was lacking. Funny how both teams have what the other team doesn't! This one is so so hard to judge because each team mastered one of the things I was grading and lacked in the other. It all comes down to participation and tardiness. Well, both were tardy. Team Crowfeather turned it in a day before Squirrelflight, but both were tardy. Squirrelflight, I've noticed your team is having problems with inactive teammates. This is unfortuante, and I'm sorry that they're driving your team down so much, because you have extroadinary skills and active teammates who do come on too. But when it comes down to it, your teammates are slowing you guys down. i aplogize, I truly do. Because only about two people partcipate every time! However... the content on Team Crowfeather's review is not exactly what I had in mind. I checked the directions, and I'm not sure if it qualifies exactly. I suppose it could be considered a new approach to what I asked for... so I don't know. Technically, both of the reviews seem more like advertisements than actual thoughts and pros and cons of the board. Sooo this was a toughie. A major toughie. But I decided on this. So the winner isssss...
Spoiler
Team Crowfeather! ONLY due to the inactivity on Team Squirrelflight when the rules always state that everyone must participate, so this a chance to get rid of an inactive member that's slowing the team down. But quite frankly, there wasn't a review that REALLY stood out to me. Both were very equalized out.
IMPORTANT Everyone who is on Team Squirreflight, PM me who you're voting out of your team. Maybe this person didn't help your team at all. Maybe they were rude to everybody. Whatever the reason, in order for your team to do better the next challenge, you must vote them out. So, vote now! Have your votes turned in by Saturday, 10:00 PM Pacific Time or your vote will not count! THANK YOU!
