Taylor's phone buzzed, and she knew she got a text. She flipped it open.

Maddix~ No texting in class
Taylor: all well XD :p

Maddix~ lol yeah who's that chick you where with I don't think I know her and that is kinda weird considering I know all the chicks around here ^^

Maddix looked at the teacher after he sent the text and listened to her drone on and on about nothing important. He started doodling a peach on his paper. He was a great drawer but only drew when he was really board

Lexi cleared her throat and started to say, " I like you..... as a boyfriend... and I know you will never like me as a girlfriend... so I'm sorry.... " She looked at Ryota. She gentily dropped his hand.... and she really felt acward, because he looked fumming. " Did I do something wrong............?"

Ryota, at first, had no reaction. After a few moments his eyes widened, as if he suddenly realized what she had said. Inadvertently, he took a step away from her. His fuming expression disappeared slowly, but no smile replaced it. "Lexi..." he said quietly. "First of all, you're right. I don't like you as a girlfriend...but I suppose that doesn't mean I'll never like you as a girlfriend..." He paused. He didn't want to let her get too hopeful. "And secondly, don't apologize." He gave a weak smile. "It's me who should apologize, for not being able to..uh...return the feeling. I'm sorry for making you feel awkward..." His eyes sparkled dully. "But you know, I admire you for telling me. I don't know of anyone who'd be brave enough to say that, especially if they know that the other person doesn't feel the same way." After this long speech he gave a slight cough.

Maddix gasped at the text and the teacher said "Something wrong Mr.Liek" he looked up at her "Why yes yes there is" The teacher knew she should never have asked him "Go ahead Maddix"she said sighing. "Thank you ma dear"he got up and said "Who knows the new girl that my bestie here"he was loaming over Taylor "Was with this mornin?"he waited for someone to answer "Ahh I see well then I must find out from her myself."he said bent down and whispered "Play nice"in Taylor's ear "Theres enough of me to share"he laughed slightly his breath smelled of mints. He was just messing with Taylor about the comment but hoped she would be nicer to the girl. He sat down "Is that all?"he nodded "yes ma'am" he texted Taylor

Taylor flipped open her phone to see another text message from Maddix.

Taylor quickly replied.

Taylor: well sry i guess u like another grl in da school

Taylor's eyes glanced over to Maddix as she hit send. Maddix like almost EVERY girl in the school, and it was a supprise if he didn't know a girl. Taylor texted him again.

Taylor: well i bet u know her shes a GIRL for heavens sake and u know like every grl in da school

Taylor didn't know what else to add, the finally added the last words,

Taylor: well i bet u know her shes a GIRL for heavens sake and u know like every grl in da school YOU DATED LIKE HALF OF DEM

Maddix read the text and his child like exspression vanished.

Maddix~ You know that's not true, so why bring it up?

he hit send but didn't look at her. She knew he hadn't dated since he dated Ivy in the 7th grade. Ivy was the last person he had ever wanted to date but that had come to an abrupt end and he was not over her. He was emotional and touchy about the subject. Maddix had always been good friends with a bunch of girl but that all he though of them as. He stopped drawing and wrote a pass to the bathroom. He walked up to the teacher not rasing his hand and she signed it. He left for the bathroom.
