Ryota smiled softly. He brushed her bangs away from her face and then dropped his hands. "I don't know how long you'll have to wait," he admitted softly. "I'm not...well..." he sighed. "Never mind." He looked at her seriously, wondering... "If...if you want to...would you tell me what a crimpesses is?" He didn't want her to cry again so he quickly added, "You don't have to, truly. I'm just...curious."

Ryota wanted to look away out of embarrassment but he forced himself to hold her gaze. He grabbed her hand and took it away from his face a little, holding it in the air next to his shoulder. "Please don't do that," he asked softly. "It kills me." He gave a small smile. "Please tell me, Lexi..." Suddenly his black eyes burned with fierceness. "The longer you keep it from me, the more it makes me want to know." Just as suddenly, his face softened again. "I won't be scared of you. I could never..." he shook his head and trailed off, averting his eyes.

" I... I eat flesh.... " Lexi turned away from him, " It's not my fault..... it's not... " She sobbed a littile bit. Then she looked at him, " I would never ever hurt you, Ryota.... I'm sorry I didn't tell you before.... I was just... " she trailed off. Then she looked away, she thought he's going to run away from me...

Ryota's eyes widened a tiny fraction of an inch. "You eat..." he started to repeat in a whisper. His entire body wanted to sprint away, but he resisted the urge. "I know you wouldn't hurt me," he assured her quietly. "I trust you, Lexi. And I know it's not your fault, why on earth would it be your fault?" He pulled her into a hug. "Don't worry," he murmured into her hair. "I forgive you."

Maddix sat in class tiredly waiting for class to be over. They were reading about the Civil War and great generals stuff that Maddix knew alot about so he zoned and started day dreaming. He though since he was at the back of the room farthest seat from the teacher why not take a nap. He soon drifted into sleep dreaming random things until his mind settled on something.

Ryota pulled away from Lexi, but he let her keep her arms around his neck. Even if he didn't like her in that way, he had to be sensitive to her feelings, which might mean letting himself be uncomfortable sometimes. "You really want to wait for me, huh," he murmured thoughtfully. With a small smile he continued, "I'm not really that great of a person, you know."
