"Erm. Math?" She ignored the whispers around her, something she did well. She had been good at ignoring others very early on. The overachievers were wondering why Will was hanging out with a piece of trash like her, while the underachievers were wondering why Kitty was hanging out with a snot like Will. Obviously neither were true. She sniffed. "Stupid idiots." she muttered quietly, referring to everyone whispering around them. She rolled her eyes for good measure.

"That was not comforting either!"
"It is the way of the Creed. Usually our deaths are violent but quick."
Will grinned slightly and tried to chuckle, "It might be because we dont match up. I mean... i am a shaky little twirp of an teacher's pet and you... well you are a cool girl that doesnt really care what they think." Will shrugged his shoulders and tried to laugh again but it came out as a nervous chuckle. He tossed a glance at her and slightly admired how level headed she was. Not worried about a single thing. He wanted to be like that but found himself only getting more and more worried.
Kitty smiled a little, almost blushing when Will had called her cool. "Well, if you want to know, there IS one thing that scares me in this school." Her eyes darted to the left and the right, and then she whispered, "It's those overachievers. Many a time they've found me after school or even during and told me right out that I should become an overachiever like them." She snorted. "It's the only thing that makes my mum worry about me, because sometimes I'll come home with bruises." She scrunched up her face. "But I know you're not like that. That's why I'm not afraid to talk to you." Her face softened a little.

Scarlett quickly opened her locker and got out her math book. She slammed her locker door and then tripped. She fell to the floor and dropped her math book. "Why am I such a klutz?" she asked herself. She got up and hurried off to class, hoping no one noticed that she fell. She walked in the classroom and sat down in a desk.
Tama got bored. her phone had just died and all the songs on her iPod suddenly got boring. she decided to get working on her song. She hadent worked on it in a while and it used to be her favorite passtime, that is until she got her iPod. it seemed she preffered judging others music to others judging hers. So she pulled out her Song Book (Really her math book, but there was only one paper that had math problems on it and that was her last peice of homework she did as an overacheiver.) and flipped to her latest peice of work:
Ive heard you say, that time flies by
But have you ever considered that its just to shy?
I feel thats how I feel when Im around you
Oh, its you
Chorus:
Its you, its you!
The one from my dreams
So impossible it seems
That its you its you!
Stealing my heart
Pulling me apart
Denying me my heart and soul
Yea its you!
She gave notice to her scribbly title and ereased it and re-wrote it. She had now taken the time to improve her writing and it was now elegant and beautiful sadly to be compared with her wardrobe, black and gray hoodie and skinny jeans. She continued to write her cheesy lyrics but she kept erasing and re-writing. She couldnt think of what to say, because this was a love song, and never had she fell in love, let alone a crush.
Will felt his own face blush, though it wasnt as subtle as Kitty's. His pale face lit up like a Christmas light bulb. "D-do you get in to a lot of fights?" he asked with embarrassment. He was different from the others? Perhaps that was why he was able to talk to Kitty. No other underachiever had ever walked, let alone talked with him. That and she had made a picture of him. Will felt butterfly's fill his chest for a moment as he stared straight ahead, trying to keep from letting his voice waver. His body still trembled and his heart pounded.
Kitty shrugged. "I don't like fighting. I'd rather be spending the time drawing or singing, but sometimes I don't have any choice in my preferences. And I won't let anyone insult my art and get away with it." Her face scrunched up with a past memory, but that look soon faded, and she was calm again, staring out at the hallway. "So, why are you so afraid of us? We really mean no harm. I don't think I even know an underachiever who likes to beat up others. "

As Willow sat down in her desk she took out her i-pod. She listened to "The In-Crowd" and got out her notebook and started doodling. She drew some stars and a moon. Willow was still maintaining a C- in math, but she was trying really hard to get an F. Then, her teacher walked in the room and said, "Okay, get out your math books and turn to page 190." Willow got out her book and ignored the teacher.
Will shook his head, "oh... past expierence i suppose." He gave a weak laugh and gave Kitty a sideways glance, "I am not really scared of the students or the teachers really... i am scared of the information they have." He gave a shake before going on, "They can contact my folks..." Will held his tongue before he let his fear of his mother and father go. H merely turned to her and gave another nervous chuckle. "That is why i suppose."
