~The Hunger Games~ 

Ever read the hunger games? The genius work of Suzanne Collins, which in the end left you speechless and craving for more. But now its a roleplay! 

Plot summary (Copied from thereadingzone.com, edited by Flamepelt): In a future world, North America as we know it has been destroyed and the continent is now divided into 12 regions. The capital of this new nation, Panem, is in the Rocky Mountains and the remaining districts (1-12) are spread in descending order throughout the continent. You all will live in one of the districts,The closer you are to the Capital, the better off your district is. District 12 is in charge of mining coal and as the last district they are exceedingly poor. Starvation is a way of life. District 1 is the richest and is in charge of cutting jewels and stuff like that.The capital (Who rules the 12 districts) is bent on reminding the districts who is boss and does this by withholding food, supplies, and other necessities. Their trump card is the annual Hunger Games, which are held to ensure that no district makes an attempt at a rebellion or uprising. The Hunger Games are a like a combination of American Idol and Survivor, with Roman gladiator games tossed into the mix. Each district is required to supply one male and one female child between the ages of 12 and 18 for the annual event. The competitors are chosen via a lottery system. Families can buy more food and supplies for the year if they purchase additional entries (Like a lottery card, your name is entered a certain amount of times into a huge bowl, but if you want to buy food you can enter your name more times into the choosing bowl) into the games. Thus, the poorer you are the more likely it is that you have dozens of entries in the mix. Those who are well off have fewer entries, with some only responsible for one entry. (In other districts, wealthier ones, children are raised for the sole opportunity to participate in the Games. These Careers see the games as an honor).If your name is chosen and one of your friends or family that is of age can volunteer themselves to replace you in the games. When you are chosen you are whisked to the Capital, where they receive stylists, makeovers, interview coaching, and gourmet food and living accommodations. You see, the Hunger Games leave the 24 competitors in a secret location (desert, tundra, etc) and the competitors must fight to the death (in this roleplay, you will just die and keep roleplaying as a person watching from home, DONT BE GRAPHIC ABAUT DEATHS!) As the entire nation watches live on TV. The sole survivor wins food and supplies for their district for the next year, and set themselves up for life.

Rules:
~NO GETTING GRAPHIC, when you are killed I dont want someone else to go up to you and bloodily murder you.
~When you die, you have to be OK with it. You will be the one saying your final words as a competitor.
~I know some people will not want to die, but remember we will have to have one winner and if it gets to the point where nobody wants to die, then I am going to have to have a vote posted on our roleplay, and within three days the person with the highest votes will die with the same name and just describe life at home.
~Basic roleplay rules.
~ And you can have crushes, and kisses and high emotions but again, please dont go into details. And remember, if you do get a crush on somebody you may have to end up killing them.
~There can be alliances, but again. YOU MAY HAVE TO END UP KILLING THEM!

Resta is herself, and beautiful, though she hates any complements having to do with her appearance, because she does not enjoy to be compared.
Attitude- Outspoken and kind, she always has the right intentions, though the consequence may end up being bad. She loves to help others, and has a very gentle side. She treats her future with care, and is prepared for anything that may come in her way. May it be friends, family, love or the Hunger Games. She doesn't enjoy using brute force and is extremely intellegent despite her district. She uses wise tactics rather than brawn. Resta enjoys being with her friends, though she knows there are things she must do. She is very kind towards those that do not know her, and dislikes those that are cruel, and trained for this; mainly those from distric 1, 2 and 3.

OOc: I think this will be my first rp where I play someone from the 'elite' group, be it overachievers, or nobles. ^-^ I'm going to enjoy making Jay's personality. I find it hard to be cold and quiet, but I'll do my best~ xD

O o C : Hahaha. Resta is almost exactly how I act. Strong-headed but thinks things through. :3 This'll be kinda hard though... xD I'm horrible at sticking to attitudes like this. They either end up quiet, or ruder than before.
