Solgun smiled back at Raissa. Yawning he lied down, resting his head on his paws. "I wonder if he's always acted like a grumpy, old, bear, or maybe he was nice as pup." Solgun chuckled. "It's actually kind of hard to imagine Thatcher being nice. I've gotten so used to him acting like this." Solgun rolled on to his back and gazed up at the sky. "Do you think he would make a good alpha?"
Raissa nodded her head no at Solgun's question and thought carefully before she answered. "Thatcher does not understand compassion or the feeling of love. Therefore, he would not be a good leader. For, to be a reliable, trustworthy leader, you must be able to show those elements, and let your pack know that you love them, and would help them keep each other safe. And in turn, they will love you, back. I guess Thatcher doesn't know that," murmured Raissa to Solgun. And then she yawned and gave a stout nod in agreement. She was also tired, though only mentally. Physically she could still run around and all, but mentally she was tired.

Echo sighed and looked at Labelle. "You know what kid?" she asked gentley. "I really CAN'T take you out right now..." she said, slowly. She didn't want to disapoint the pup. "So I'll catch you a deer and you can have a leg. It's great!" She waited for the pup's approval, but then decided just to go on and catch one. "Slowly.. slowly," she whispered. She stared at the buck a few feet away. It was bent down, eating grass. [Do deer eat grass? XD] "I can't disturb it's wonderful meal.." She stalked towards the animal a few feet, making her about 3 feet away from the deer. She made the the deer wasn't paying attention before walking a few feet more. At about one foot away, Echo plunged. She landed on the buck's back, thrashing her claws into his back, making it hard for him to push her off. She bit the neck of the buck, killing it. Happily, she dragged it back to camp. Echo dropped the deer into the fresh-kill pile. She tore off a fresh peice of leg meat from it. Taking a bit of the meat from the buck, she brought it to Labelle. "Here." she said. "I bet you never tried that before!" Echo smiled, then left.
Oki stretched and padded up to the group of friends who were chatting about being a good alpha. He wanted to ask if they thought he would be a good alpha very much, but he wasn't sure of what they would say. Instead, he grinned a wolfish grin and said, "Hey guys. How are you?" This group of wolves contained some of his best friends from when he had been a pup still. And now that the Alpha had died, the fantasy of him being Alpha had not left his head even once. He had seen that Echo, the current Alphaess, might like another wolf, but that didn't stop him from dreaming. Without his notice, the question he had really wanted to ask burst out of his mouth. "Do you think I would make a good Alpha?"
Ooc: xD I'll just make Oki your guys's friend, kay? :3 xD

"If he dies, then it will be God's will."
"If that was meant to be comforting, it was not."
"Everyone dies eventually. Once you are born, you begin to die."
"That was not comforting either!"
"It is the way of the Creed. Usually our deaths are violent but quick."
Labelle looked up at Echo and looked at the deer meat she had broght her, her tail wagged fast as she asked "For me? Awesome!" The pup jumped to the meat and started to tear it apart, enjoying every bit of it, she smiled as the last bit was gone. The pup layed down on her belly and put her head on her paws, she licked her lips and barked "That was great!" Labelle could'nt sit still for long because the next moment she jumped up and was playing around with Echo's tail, barking "Can I please go somewhere with you!? Pleaseeee?" She sat down where she was and did the cutest puppy eyes.
Occ: okay. I want to post something :p. Dolpha opened his eyes and yawned. He lifted his ears and then his head. He gently licked his wounded paw once and stood up. Dolpha looked around. He padded out of the den and yawned once again. He slowly shook a little. He let out a large sigh and stared back down at his paw. He rolled his eyes. He wasn't going to let a crippled paw ruin his fun. He slowly limped away from camp and down to the river. Her soon arrived and looked at his reflection in it. He folded his ears back. Time to learn how to swim with only three paws. He thought. He quickly jumped in.

OOC; I might want to remind you guys that if we are going to play wolves that deer a just a little harder to catch than birds and rabbits from teh warriors RP... usually from what i have gathered big prey like deer and stuff like that require most of the pack to bring them down.
Thatcher lay in his den for a moment before padding back out to the camp. "Time for bed everyone. We need our strength!" His voice rang out around the clearing much like an alpha's since they still didnt have one. At the moment, he was the highest ranking male in the pack and he was going to make good use of it for now. His harsh green gaze fixed upon some of teh wolves as they padded away. Juniper sent him a glance of familiarity and trotted to his den. Thatcher disppeared inside and lay at one corner. Junpier made her way to the other end and lay down with her tail tucked close to her. Thatcher gave a snort for good night and closed his eyes.
Meppe sighed, after lying an agreement with Raissa's and Solgun's conversation. She couldn't help but feel a twinge of blind affection for the stubborn, cruel-hearted beta. Maybe sleep would clear her head. She padded softly over to the den, settling down near the back cave wall. After she felt comfortable and relaxed, she drifted into a deep, heart-throbbing sleep, her tail wagging lightly against the wall.
OOC; Time kip to morning i think should be fine. I am just assuming that everyone went to sleep. =D
Thatcher's dark eyes opened slowly to see the morning light filter in to the small cave that he shared with Juniper. The she wolf was curled up against the other wall easily. Thatcher stared at her for a moment before he stood softly and padded out of the den quietly, as to not wake her up. As he stepped out in to the sun, its rays blazed off the golden parts of his pelt. He breathed deeply and stretched out. With a comfortable frown set on his lips he trotted toward the hill which he usually sat upon. In the morning was probably when he was most tame. The sun calmed his temperment making him easier to get along with. But as soon as he would see another wolf he was back to being the same wolf he always was. He enjoyed these quiet mornings when he was his most optimistic.
