Anna Grace took a deep breath and then asked "Why do you shut people out?"she was wanting to ask why he shut her out sometimes but desided to ask it that way instead. "Did something happen to you?"she continued in her whispering tone. She wanted to know if it was jsut her or if he shut everyone out

Jake looked down, "I...use to be a foster child & to the families that took care of me I was like a practice child. They would try to take care of me but if they got tired of me or didn't care about me any more they would take me back." He had gotten use to the feeling of rejection. "I never got attached to a family because something would happen & they would take me back to the orphanage. I'm just not use to any one staying around me for a long time."

Anna Grace looked at him"I won't leave you I promise"she told him and said "You don't have to worry you can trust me also."she gave him a small smile. She didn't like it when he shut her out but she could understand why he didn't get close to people. Her mom died when she was little and for awhile she didn't trust anybody or get close to anyone.

Jake took a deep breath & he looked at Anna. He felt better but he still kept his knees to his chest. He thought she was upset with him because he had blocked her out. "I'm sorry I blocked you out. I can't help it some times." he said in a quiet voice as if he was ashamed to have done it in the first place.

Anna Grace shrugged and said "It's okay I understand I did the same when my mom died"she took a ragged breath a the thought of it as if she was holding back tears. She missed her mom so much and she couldn't stand her Carol her step mom. She had thought about running away to Alice's house many times and until now only Alice had known about her mom and how much she hated Carol.

Jake frowned & looked down, "'M sorry...." he whispered. The blueish sky above them was starting to turn pink & orange as the sun slowly started to sink below the horizon. Jake quietly played with his fingers, they were cold. He tried to blow his breath on them to heat them up, but they were still cold.

"I'll be right back I promise"she said and then bounded away to her cabin. She sat a note on Alice's bed.

She grabbed her furry zebra striped blanket then grabbed a pair of jammies for her and Jake. She headed out the door and back to Jake. She had the clothes balled up in the blanket so nobody could see them. She had gotten clothes incase they changed again and a blanket because she was cold and wanted to sit outside with Jake. It was big enough for them both

Ic: Alice slowly walked outside and saw Anna Grace and Jake sitting near the rock. Alice ran towards them and saw Jake being hoovered over by Anna. "What happened?" she asked. Alice sat next to her best friends. "I leave you for a minute and you get an allergic reaction!" she tried to joke. Then she sighed. "Jake, we're teens now. We'll have to leave ourselves be one day. We're werewolves for heaven's sake. WE GOTTA SHOW THEM WHO WE TRUELY ARE." She stretched the last sentence. "You're not that 'Ol' Wimp' anymore," she continued. "You're one of my best friends, you're a WEREWOLF for God's sake, and I KNOW for a fact you can beat that old wimpy Dylan up," she said, hugging Jake. "We're a team.." she finally whispered.

Jake inhaled quickly when Alice hugged him, he stared at her with wide eyes. He looked up at Anna & felt himself shiver. He let Alice finish hugging him before he hugged himself from the biting cold. He looked up at the sky, it was turning darker colors as he watched it. He wasn't sure if they would change tonight because there was no moon because of clouds.

Anna grace put their clothes on the rock "I didn't know if we would change or not so I grabbed a pair of clothes for us"she told Jake. "I'm sorry I didn't know if you were coming or not so I didn't grabb any for you"she told Alice and sat down right beside Jake and put the blanket over them. She patted the ground "Wanna sit with us Alice?"she offered
