Dustpaw sent a mischievious grin to Earthpaw as he laughed, "I suppose the old furball just needs to take more naps." Dustpaw winked playfully at her. With that he turned and lashed his fluffy brown and black striped tail side to side. "Lets do this Earthpaw!" He growled playfully. Dustpaw jumped forward knowing that Earthpaw would do another tecnique to compliment his moves. Leaftail saw his charge from a mile away and doged to the left only to be tripped by Earthpaw who had snuck around to the side. Dustpaw landed with his front paws on the ground. His back feet kicked off and he twirled on his front paws so he did a complete 180. Dustpaw touched down with all four paws and sprang on Leaftail's haunches. Earthpaw battered her ears. A twinkle touched Dustpaw eyes when he looked over to see the she cat doing her job. The team work was going smoothly so far.

Earthpaw hissed and gentily gave Leaftail a front paw blow with her claws shethed. Leaftail hissed and shook Dustpaw off of her and turned on Earthpaw. Then Leaftail jumped on to Earthpaw, and mewed, " Suprise!" Earthpaw then fell limp. Leaftail lightened down, she probably thought Earthpaw was defeted but then Earthpaw pushed herself explosively. Leaftail mewed in suprise and fell to the ground. Earthpaw pressed her paw on to Leaftail, " Had enough? " She said.

Dustpaw grinned as Earthpaw was about to call their victory. As much fun as this was, it still wasnt the advetnure he wanted. This was just the mundane routine that was carried out everyday. Dustpaw trotted closer to them panting slightly. "Like she said. Had enough?" There was a slight edge in his vocie almost as if he was in a real fight. Since adventure wouldnt come to him, he would have to make his own. Dustpaw's golden eyes twinkled mysteriously and his tail flicked back and forth with slight intensity.

Earthpaw grinned back at Dustpaw, and her eyes met his. She blushed and her face turned red. Leaftail looked up and smiled at both of them. Leaftail huffed, " Yeah, good job you, two..okay you guys can go hunting, since Earthpaw's hungry. " Earthpaw grinned. ADVENTURE! She flashed a sassy smile at Dustpaw and padded towards him and whispered, " Thank Starclan, and adventure. Let's go....I'm hungry too. "

Dustpaw nodded softly before he turned to Leaftail, "Are you going to escort us or do we get to go alone?" His voice was full of pure hope. The thought of adventure coursed through his mind. "Can Lilypaw come too? She seems kind of out of it today." The young tabby and white tom flicked his tail in the she cat's direction. "A little adventure will be just the right trick to cheer her up." Dustpaw turned a devilish grin to Earthpaw.

Earthpaw looked at Lilypaw, " I don't think Sandclaw will let her but we can try! " Leaftail mewed, " You guy's can go alone. " She looked at him and sat down with her brown-redish fur gleaming gentily. She grinned, " I'm hungry..." She then started to bounce around him. Her bronze eyes looked at him as she bounced. " Weeee! This is fun " Then she stoped because she felt really stupid.

Dustpaw tilted his head to the side with an odd smile, "I suppose it will be fun." With a sigh he turned to Lilypaw and called out warmly, "Sandclaw, can Lilypaw come hunting with us? I think it will be fun and good for her!" The tom's eyes turned to him with narrowed slights. Dustpaw brashly quirked a smile and chirped. "I really think its a good idea." He turned his gold eyes to Earthpaw for a moment with a slight bit of doubt that the deputy would let the she cat join them on their little expedition.

"I don't think so." Sandclaw murmered, but Lilypaw stood and rushed to the apprentices. Her father might act like he had a stick up his butt, but that wouldn't stop her from trying to get away.

"Let's go." She mewed quietly, already past them, "Now." She heard their pawsteps behind her, or at least thoguht she did. She was just glad her dad hadn't punished her for walking off right away. After a little ways, she slowed her pace and walked next to Dustpaw and Earthpaw. "You guys fought great." She said with a smile that didn't quite touch her eyes.

Dustpaw beamed with pride at her comment. The fact that her emotions didnt connect to her words didnt faze him at all. "Thanks!" He purred warmly. His eyes were brim with mischievous light. "Now that we are away from those bossy old furballs, what say you if we go an find ourselves a bit of fun? Adventure is just around the corner for us!" Dustpaw's fluffy tail lashed back and forht with untamable energy. He glanced from Lilypaw to Earthpaw and then back again. "Are you guys up for it? Or would you rather do a boring old hunt?"
