Dustpaw wiped a tear from his cheek with his arm. "Come on Earthpaw! It was funny!" The flick at the end of her tail told him that she didnt find it in the least bit amusing. "Oh come on," he sighed heavily. When she still didnt turn around he propped himself up on his front paws. "Earthpaw!" He called after her. When she disappeared in to the under growth he hissed, "Fine, be that way!" He stood and turned a glare to Lilypaw who hadnt said a thing the whole time. "What? You gonna give me that cold shoulder as well?" He narrowed his amber eyes and called out with meaning to where Earthpaw had disappeared, "Fine i dont need you guys to have an adventure! I will have one all to myself and when i become a legendary cat i wont ever care if you come groveling to my paws begging me to take notice!" His ears drooped beside his head as he turned and stalked off. He was feel a bit rotten for not stopping his laughing fit to see if Earthpaw had been alright.
IC: Shadowpaw peeked out of the apprentices' den. Where was his mentor at this time? It was well past sunhigh and his mentor still hadn't ordered him to train or hunt or anything. Mentally shrugging, he trotted towards the freshkill pile. Looking through it, he found a plump squirrel, which he'd been craving for quite a while. Carefully carrying it, he made his way to a place where he could eat in peace, since he didn't feel very talkative at the moment. Warriors and other apprentices were busily making their way around camp, doing their duties. He nibbled on the squirrel, and watched a few kits romping around. I wonder where Gemstone and Jetstep are..?
OOC: Gemstone- his mother. Jetstep- his father.

Earthpaw hissed, " He was laughing at me..." and then she heard him call her name. She felt bad and she turned back and saw him stalk off with his ears drooping. Earthpaw understood that Dustpaw was mad but couldn't he be a bit nicer. sSo she turned back towards him. She went over and pressed her wet fur against his, " I'm sorry, Dustpaw. I over reacted....but that was really mean" She looked up at him and gentily smiled.

Dustpaw hesitated away from her. He studied her eyes for a long time to make sure she wasnt trying to pull a prank on him in return. "I didnt mean it. Its not like i purposefully pushed you in. But the look on your face," as he recalled a teasing smile quirked the edge of his lip up. "It was priceless and i couldnt help myself." With a sigh he licked her cheek and pulled away. "Ready for that adventure now?" Even though he hadnt said 'I am sorry' it was implied in everything he did and said. He just wasnt humble enough to say it yet.
Earthpaw felt her cheek burn under his touch. She blushed gentily, but she never had this feeling with any tom-cat before so why was this happening now? It made her feel the urge to check and see if her fur was clean and if her fur wasn't sticking up anywhere. Her eyes, slowly looked up at him and she mewed softly, " Yeah...I'm ready." The way he smiled made her smile in return. And this one was genuine.

Dustpaw's eyes lit up with mischief, "Then lets get going!" He whirled around and called out, "Come on Lilypaw you slow poke! I didnt mean what i said earlier so come on! We still have an adventure to go on!" He watched as the she cat padded patiently around the lake that the waterfall fell in to and came trotting up to them. "Lets go!" Again he whirled around and charged toward hill like cliff that the water fall fell down. Behind the great cascade there was a small cave that was barely visible. It also looked quite hard to reach. Dustpaw slowed and tilted his head to the side. Just how were they going to get in there? Well surely they would find a way!
Shadowpaw quickly finished his breakfast after overhearing that a few of the other apprentices have been gone a while. Shouldn't they know they can't leave the camp without at least one warrior? It was a part of the code, which they should definately ask about more often, considering their current situation. He dashed out of camp, and eagerly sniffed about for some scent to follow. He picked up several apprentice scents, and he followed a few that only lead him to a dead bird, vole, or mouse. Then after going a bit further from camp, he picked up another group of scents. Would this trail lead him to the cats in question?

Ic :: Hazelcloud sat down in the middle of the forest, where the sun was seeping through. It's soothing wamrness reminded her of her mother's body. She sniffed the air. Hazelcloud smelled Earthpaw and Dustpaw, most likely out to catch prey. She also smelled the faint scent of twolegs she always smelled, and a shrew. She quickly located the mouse-brained animal and slowly stalked it. When Hazelcloud was about 2 feet away, she pounced. Startled, the small animal fled, but Hazelcloud was too quick for it. With a quick swipe of her paw, she lifted it up and nipped in the neck, killing it instantly. "A peice of cake," she muttered to herself. Burring the dead animal, she left it there to retrieve it later.
