okay this story has a chain. Vanishing wings is first, Darkworld is second. i've just completed the fist chap of darkworld. if you want to know Zen's history, read Vanishing Wings. the story is optional. however dark world isn't. if you want to read Raise Z! you need to read darkworld. okay here's the first chap of Darkworld!!!!

oh by the way when they were kids they were 10 or 9. they the grew up Drak became 20 kale became 19. so they are adults running around.

"Drak have you ever seen the stars after midnight? The are beautiful. Maybe tonight we can sit on the roof and watch them. What do you think big brother?" Kale smiled. Drak scratched his ebony black hair and spoke with a sigh, "I dont know. Were not allowed on the roof and we have to go to bed before midnight."


"Itll be fun!" She smiled cutely.


"Okay fine. But we go to bed after we watch the stars." He commanded. "Okay big brother."  Kale jumped and smiled. "But we have to help mom and dad farm first." He frowned. "Awwww I want to play inside." She groaned.  Drak walked passed the well and felt something strange. "What was that?" 


"What was what?" She asked. "Nothing." He smiled and looked forward. What was that? It felt chilling and yet I feel like I felt it before. "Is something on your mind big brother?"


"No not really." He lied. The day had turned to dusk then midnight. "Come on lets go on the roof." Kale whispered. The two children got up on the roof. "Look at those starts!" She said in awe. "The are pretty amazing." He smirked. He felt a chill run up his spine. He looked down at the well. Water was overflowing out of the well. Fog covered the area. Monsters where forming out of the water. "Uhh Kale I think we should leave."


"Why?" She looked down and saw the water monsters. "Okay." She said scared. Drak grabbed Kale's hand and jumped off the roof. The beast spotted then and chased after them. They ran out of the town gates and headed to the forest. They stopped at they reached a hill.  They saw a giant ice dome cover the entire town. They watched on horror and the town was destroyed.  Drak tried to force back the tears but they came out. "Do- do you think well never see our parents again?" Kale said tearing. "No." He said with a blank face. He wiped his tears and frowned. "We wont see them ever again." He said with no sad tone in his voice. "Come on. We have to keep moving. The forest isnt safe at night." They found an abandoned camp. "Let's rest here. Then head out for the nearest town for supplies." He said.  They sat down near the fire. "So what do we do now?" Kale asked.


"What else can we do? We are in the wilderness. Better train so that we may get better at fighting." He said with a serious tone.


 


 


                                                       10 years later


 


"C'mon Drak get up! Get you lazy butt out of bed!" Kale threw a stick at Drak. "Im up I'm up! Jeez." Drak said tiredly. Kale merely laughed. "Switching camp to camp was your idea." She scoffed. Drak stared at her. "Let's head to town to get a stock of food." They both got dressed and walked down the road. "Like I said if it hadnt been for your kindness that bear would have killed me. There is some niceness in you. You look a lot better when you smile. But you haven't smiled for ten years!" She yelled at him. "Stop yelling, your breath stinks." He said staring at her. "Well there's the city gate." He said as they stepped in. "The town looks deserted. I wonder why." He said looking around. "Look out!" a voice called. Drak was pushed out of the way by a man in a hood. "A monster!" Kale cried. A woman wearing a hooded cloak shot a fireball at the monster. "Get back!" she shouted. The man pulled out his black sword and sliced a monster's head in half.  Drak pulled out his claymore and stabbed a monster in the chest. "What the heck are you doing? We told you two to get out of here!" The man said.


"They are not going to listen." The woman shouted. "Why not have them just fight?"


Kale pulled out her two short swords and attacked. The woman was hit in the head and passed out. "Naiomi!" The man shouted. He looked at her and then looked back at the wave of monsters. He swiftly killed the monsters one by one until a giant fire centipede broke the city gates and made its way in the battle ground. "There he is. Die you fire worm!!" He said as he jumped up in the air and landed on its head. He stabbed the centipede in the head with his black sword. The monster screeched and fell. It crashed down the ground smashing some buildings with its fall. "What was that?" Drak said with wide eyes. They saw the two people and pulled them out of the rubble. Naiomi woke. "What? What happened? Did Zen kill the beast?" She said rubbing her eyes. Zen got up and looked at them. Kale and Drak starred at them an odd way. "What?" Zen said annoyed. "You have blue hair. That's unnatural." Drak staid pointing at Zen. "And you have purple hair." Kale said staring at Naiomi. "Well when you town friend barges it your home without warning while you're making potions your hair would be purple too." Naiomi said pointing to her hair. "So what"s you story Zen?" Drak said as he folded his arms. "He doesnt like to talk about how he got his blue hair. Very personal." Naiomi said with guilt in her eyes. "My name is Drak. This Kale." He said kindly. "Thanks but we where quite capable of killing monsters on our own." Zen snapped. He got up and grabbed Naiomi's hand. The walked back to the city. "I wonder why they are in that deserted city."


"What's the deal? Why not tell him the truth. About your powers! It makes me frustrated when you lie! Jeez. But if it hadn't been for Keiumei-." Naiomi had paused to see a sadden look on his face. She sighed and looked up at the sky. The sun was falling and soon it would be nighttime. "If it hadn"t been for her you would be dead." She murmured to herself.


Drak looked impatient at Kale. "Oh like this is my fault." Kale looked at him and said. "I'm saying theres something weird about this guy. I dont trust him." He said with an annoyed tone. They heard a loud scream come from the town then a huge fireball exploded in it. "What the heck?" they both saw someone with giant wings soar to the sky. The wings opened and the figure blasted a giant fireball at the town. Naiomi ran screaming to Drak. "Drak! You have to save him! You have to save Zen!" She said with tears.

finnally the vanishing wings prlog is up. okay the prolog is called Power form. tottally awsome cuz you don't now what's going on. okay my character zen in the vanishing wings story is in my gaurdian drogn story. that alitte history about what happened to him in his past. tell alittle more about the charaacter Naiomi.

      Prolog to Vanishing wings

"Come on work darn you!" Wakazen Yelled. Dark beings formed all around. "Kythe!" He yelled the gem around his neck glowed red.  Wakazen painfully grew wings made of fire. His hair grew spiky and red.  "Well now you ready to have fire!?"  He pulled out a sword and it burst fire. "Die!!" He sliced a shadow being in half. "I have no choice, they are in many numbers. FIRE SHIELD BURST!!!!" A flaming fireball formed around him and it grew lager. Fire suddenly burned the whole area. The ball disappeared. Wakazen fell from the sky and hit the ground. The amulet fell from his neck. "I have to get it back to the ruins." HE weakly took the gem and limped to the ruins. He Opened the stone hatch and walked in. he came upon a stone slab and placed the gem there. "Im sorry guys, I failed you." He said to the gem with a tear. Wakazen soon collapsed and died.

"Keiumei, I want you to meet Zen, He's a little off on dancing. You can teach him." Naiomi said smiling. Keiumi sighed and said harshly, How many times do I have to tell you? I cant dance! I hate dancing. You and your stinking friend!" She growled then went back in her tent. Zen scratched his brown hair and looked at Naiomi. I didnt really want to learn how to dance. So why ask her?" He said softly. "And plus, she doesnt know how to either. So theres no point." He added. "Because I want you to dance with me!" Naiomi smiled. Zen sighed and went in an empty tent. Naiomi turned around and Keiumei was standing right in front of her. "You do know that youre using him for your own pleasure."

"Yea. But what fun is it when you dont have someone at your every whim." She smiled a very not pleasant smile. Keiumei sighed. "Well we are heading to the ruins tomorrow. I"ll inform Zen." She said while walking to his tent. She walked in silently and saw Zen floor. "Zen? Zen, are you awake?" She shook him. "What I was sleeping. Can't you just leave me alone? Jeez." He stared at her with angry eyes. Zen looked away and looked at the tan-ish brown walls. "If you knew what I'm going through you would go away. But Okay Im tired shut up!" He said drowsily. Keiumei smiled and sighed. "We are heading to the ruins." Keiumei said with a quaint smile. "Okay. Sorry. Uh well maybe we can head up the ruins now." He said. They took a brief pause then Keiumei spoke again. "Sure I'll tell Naiomi." She said as she headed out the tent.

"YOU WANT TO WHAT?!"

"I know, we need to get rest and supplies, but he thinks somethings in there. But I dont really know."  Keiumei sighed.

"Well okay. Ill get the horses." Naiomi walked away. She grabbed the horses reins and they followed her to the camp. "Zen! C'mon!"

A glint in his light blue eyes shone as he walked out of the tent. "I'm coming. So we are going? The ruins?"

"Duh." She said with an annoyed tone. All three of them got up on their horses.

Chap 2


They speeded to the ruins. Keiumei noticed Zen was behind them. "Whats wrong?" She asked.
"Oh its nothing."
"It's always something, now tell me what it is or you'll be on the floor with a split lip."
"Alright alright! I'll tell you about it later though."
Keiumei just sighed with a smile.
When they got to the stone door they noticed the door was already open. "Maybe some one came here along time ago." Zen said. They slowly got off the horses and into the ruins. Zen hesitated before going in. "Naiomi would you do the honors?" Keiumei asked.
Naiomi lit a fireball in her hands. They walked down the hall until they got to a stone slab. There was an amulet on the middle. "Look at that!" Zen exclaimed. They started hearing growling noises. "Holy crud! Guardian beasts!"
"Zen! Get the amulet!"
Got it! Zen said as he ran to the stone slab. He suddenly stopped.
"Zen do it!"
His eyes became blank as he was hearing a strange noise. "It's- It's like it's calling me."
Zen slowly reached out his arm and put his hand over the gem. A flash of blue light lit the room. Zen was lifted into the air. Three pairs of wings appeared of his back and them they folded around him like a chrysalis. The wings turned fiery and they opened. A man with red eyes and spiky red hair appeared with the wings. "I'm back out again. I think the world is ready to have the power of the Power Forms back." He said as he blew a hole in the roof. He burst out of the ruins and shot the ruins with his fire. Naiomi and Keiumei ran out of there. They saw a big bon fire. "Little ladies, this is only but a bit of my power." He said. The man clutched his chest. "No not now, not while I'm testing my power!" the wings vanished and he plunged to the ground. Naiomi and Keiumei ran to where he fell. They gasped as Zen woke. "What-what's wrong?" He asked. "Who are you?" Naiomi said frightened. "It's me Zen what you lost you mind or something, what do I look different to you?"
"Yes." She said.
Zen's brown eyes widened. Keiumei found a piece of glass and gave it to Zen. He looked in it and saw he had older features and had blue hair and brown eyes. "Whats happening?" he looked around in panic.

\new chater! i revile alittle more about the amulet. in my comic version witch will never be able to see unless i figure out how to scan the amulet is acctually forehead crystal.




Chap 3
When Zen got up he was towered over the two. "You got taller." Naiomi said with an odd expression. "The right term is older. I believe hes around 18." Keiumei said examining him. "And has the power to turn into a big flaming thing."
"C'mon this is serious!" He said blushing. "I believe so." Keiumei said as she looked up at him. 'What was that you turned into?"
"I dont know. The funny thing is when I turned into it, it was like I was still looking through my eyes, but I could only talk in his head. And there where other people around me. Like two guys, even taller than me. One with white hair with really long sideburns and a girlish appearance, and a shady guy who had a long pony tail." He said.
"Well what ever that person was he's gone." Naiomi sighed in relief. "For some reason theres this name that keeps floating in my head. Kythe." He said as he put his head on his hand.
"Kythe? That name sounds familiar, as if it was in one of my realm research books. I have them back at the camp. Lets go check it out." Naiomi said.
They got on their horses and rode back to the camp. Naiomi ran to her tent and grabbed all the books. "Realm research, realm research, ah here it is! Okay to find that name, Kira, Kio, Kythe! Okay Kythe:
Guardian of the fire realm, many believe that he has the power to turn himself to look human. His original form is a fiery cat-like beast with fire wings. The guardian was slain 1000 years ago. The rumors have flooded around the fire realm that the last essence of the Guardian was fused an amulet that was created long ago when the dark fairies where still alive." Naiomi read out loud. Zen's eyes widened. "That must mean those other people where Guardians of other realms. Look up that amulet it looks like this." He said taking the amulet around his neck and showing it to Naiomi. She looked up to find a match. "Here it is, The Amulet of the Black Realms:
There is not a lot known about this relic, but all information we have is that it was created by the dark fairies and stolen by the tribe of wood elves, years after that a Hero by the name of Wakazen used this gem to end the Twilight War. He died after he put the amulet on the stone slab a ruins." Naiomi read on. She looked back up at Zen. "theres not a lot of information." She said.

Extremely short chapter.
Chap 2

"What do you mean?" Drak asked.
"She's back!!" Naiomi cried. "I'll explain later come on!" she said as they ran to the city. "It's just this way! Hurry!!" they ran in the broken gates to se a ninja like woman jumping off the buildings shooting needles. "Stay still! So I can kill you!!" the woman said.
"Well youre rude as ever!" He said shooting a fire blast. "Why dont you stop coming on our tail!"
"What would be the fun in that?" She said as she jumped in the air. The ninja grabbed a hold of him and yanked his wings. "Ow ow ow OW!!" He said trying to get her off. They fell to the ground. He grabbed her throat. "What do you want with me?" He said in a raspy voice.
"Your downfall!" She kicked him in the face and ran off. The wings disappeared and he turned back into Zen. "You know you could have stopped her any time Naiomi." He said rubbing his cheek. He looked up to see Drak and Kale with frightened expressions. "What?"
"What was that you turned into?" Drak asked scared.

Chap 4

 

Zen looked down. I dont know what weve gotten ourselves into, and I dont think well be able get out the same people as we were before. He said as he plopped down of a stone. The first thing is how we remove the amulet cuz I can get it of. He said as he tried to take the amulet. He sighed in failure as he went back to his tent.

He must be really depressed. Naiomi said.

Probably. Keiumei sighed.

 

      "Hey, what are you doing? Youre supposed to be better at thinking, yet you dont even know how to take it off."

"Who-who said that?" Zen asked sacredly. He looked around the room, no one was there.

"I'm in yar head numskull. Surprisingly your subconscious is pretty nice. A big black room were I can just sit and chat with you."

"And why are you talking to me. You should be just gone. Who is this anyway, and why do I recognize your voice?"

"My name is Kythe, how are you Zen?"

Zen nearly jumped. What is going on?

"Nothing, except you have a voice in your head. Now get a move on before I fore you into changing into me idiot." Kythe said with a tude.

Chap 5

 

Zen got up and walked out of the tent. "Guys theres a little problem." He said. Before he spoke again. He froze. What the heck? Whats happening? I can move. Whats wrong with...... me..... He thought. Zen collapsed as he heard Kythe speak. No. not rau power.  He mustnt come ou-

He fell on the floor. Naiomi and Keiumei helped him up. They noticed that black markings were appearing on him. "Naiomi whats that?!" Keiumei said with a scared expression. "That, I dont know. Come on lets get him in the tent." She said as they dragged him to the tent.

    Zen woke up to see the tent around him. "What just happened Kythe?"

That is a good question. All I know is that power that overwhelmed you was Rau Power. Rau for short. He is a dangerous power.

Zen looked down and noticed the black markings. Oh crud what the heck are these?

Those are markings; you are halfway transformed into Rau.

And you dont even know how to stop it? He yelled. Zen stopped for a moment and looked around. Keiumei and Naiomi where sitting and watching him. Who are you talking to? Naiomi said as she tilted her head. "Uh the voice in my head." He said pointing to his head. "Kythe." He said boredly. Zen froze as is eyes widened. He gripped his chest as the markings grew all over his body. His hair turned silver and his eyes turned yellow. Silver wing bursted out of his back as he screamed in pain.  Zen got up and turned around. "Dont get in my way next time." He said in a very deep almost monster-ish like voice. "Or youll die right then and there." He said threatening. The wings made him shoot up in the air.

Chap 6 already? W00t!


Zen gasped for breath. "What happened? Where am I?" He looked around. There was nothing but a black room and a few chairs. Each one had its own special carving. He first looked at the white one. Theres where real ice crystals on the carved ice with white powder to keep out nasty dust. The next one was red, is almost burned his hand. There was a phoenix carked in the middle of the chair. Then he moved to what looked like a throne. Theres where black spikes on it, with gold arm rests. Then he looked at a chair with a big amulet crystal on it. The crystal was exactly the one he was wearing. The chair was wood with carvings of wings. And a pair of wings was mounted on the chair. Hows that for classy? He heard footsteps approach as he saw Kythe and the two other really tall men. "Who are you guys?"
"Zen I want you to meet the other two power forms. This is Lain, and this is Kio. (Remember the realm research book how Kios name was in there?)" Kythe said pointing to them.
Lains eyes shimmered like bright blue diamonds or roses. He jumped up and hugged Zen. "Yay! Nice to meet you Zen." Lain said. Zen looked up at him. Even though Zen could tower humans these guys could tower over him. "Nice to meet you too." Zen said dizzy and almost out of breath from the hug. "Ah Kio! Nice to meet you!" Zen said as Kio sat in his Dark kings throne. Kio just nodded then crossed his legs. Lain said in the icy bejeweled chair and Kythe of course sat in the fiery chair. Zen sat in the wooden chair. "How do I get back out in my world?" Zen asked.
"Well do like you did when you forced yourself to transform me back into you." Kythe said sounding smart.
"But I did that because because" He tried to think why he did that. "Because I didn't want you out." He said looking at the floor. The three Power forms stood up and held out their hands. Zen put his hand in their's. A big light flashed and wind started whoosh around (I know it sounds corny) and Zen stared to black out "G-Guys" He said as he fell into a black abyss. There he was floating. This place. I'm under water. But Im not drowning. Where am I? his eyes finally closed as his amulet lit up.
