The Moorland Den

Uphead in the distance you see Windclan's territory as you escort you leader to the Moonpool. A soft wind caresses your cheek and you lift you nose to the wind to let its soft embrace overcome you. You dont notice that your patrol has left your sight and is nowhere to be seen now. A deep soothing voice from behind you chuckles, "You seem to have managed to get yourself in to a bit of trouble havent you?"
You are startled but remembering your training you whip around to see a tall thin black she cat with a sarcastic smirk on her lips. She looks you over once and lets out another chuckle. "Come now, there is no reason for you to be so defensive. Stay a while and chat with me if you wish." A feeling of puzzlement over takes you as the patient she cat sits down and wraps her fluffy black tail around her paws.
A slight glint in her eyes tells you that she has had a lot of experience fighting and that wasting your time trying to goad her in to a fight wont work. With a sigh you turn.
"Please, wont you even tell me your name. I will tell you mine." You turn your eyes over your shoulder to see her giving you another smirk. "I am the loner named Ebbs." A shocked surge fills you. You know this name! The former leader of Windclan had been named Ebonystar and then turned loner. She had taken the name of Ebbs and it had been a big uproar in Windclan. You flick your tail side to side as you debate whether or not to tell her your name.

"Welcome to my den stranger. Take a look around if and only if you have told me your name."

Hello there everyone, I hope you enjoy your time here in my Moorland Den XD I dont know if i shall be staying away from Windclan this time but i might. Anyway o feel, free to RP your character here if you want, if not that is fine XD

XD Just noticed, Looks like the leader got lost on her way to the Moonpool for once. XDD


Duskstar shook her head, thinking, and continued on her way up the path. Only...weren't there supposed to be rocks here? The ground underneath was soft grass, as if not many paws trampled upon it. Where...was she? She looked around and jumped as a voice came from behind her. She spun around and saw the black she-cat with ice-blue eyes. Her jaw dropped open before the cat had even introduced herself. "Ebony-...Ebbs!" A large smile broke across her face as she recognized her friend. One of her very good friends, who had been a leader as well. It was a good hing for all of ThunderClan as well, for their friendship meant that there was little blood spilled along that border. "Ebbs, everyone has been wondering where you've gone!"



OH, hey, I saw the pic you made of the second round of leaders~ And I LOVE it xD Oh, I was wondering, could you make me an avvie of Dusky from there? o3o;;;;

Ebbs gave a bright chuckle and trotted forward, "Dear friend it is good to see you!" The black she cat's ice blue eyes glowed with the warmth of their old friendship. "I see you managed to get yourself lost. Still have a horrible sense of direction eh?" She threw back her head and laughed good heartedly. "Its getting late Dusky. What do you say to joining me at my den for the night before you head back. You will just wind up a hundred miles from here if i dont help." The black she cat winked at her friend with another laugh.

Duskstar laughed with her old friend. "I do hope that the rest of the patrol doesn't worry too much about me. What kind of a leader am I that I can't even find the way to the meeting place with StarClan?" She grinned. "It's a good thing that only my trusted cats came with me this time. But then, it would be worse if I got caught lost in my own territory, neh?" Duskstar looked her friend up and down again. Ebbs' fur was sleek, and glossy, and her eyes were bright. "You seem to be getting along just fine out here. How are things for you?"

Ebbs' mouth quivered at the end for a moment as it tried to decided whether to become a smile or a frown. "Well, its lonely sometimes... and i wonder if its worth it. Then again," the she cat gave a soft sigh, "being a leader isnt all its cracked up to be." She gave the she cat a knowing grin before she stood and trotted toward her den on the moor, "Come if you like. If not i can take you to the Moonpool."

"I'd like to..." Duskstar knew that she should be going to the Moonpool, but her heart wailed at the thought of having to leave her friend so soon. "stay with you, if that's alright," she finished, smiling lightly. Besides, if StarClan had the answer to her question, they could come to her anywhere, could they not? Would they really forsake her this meeting with an old friend? Duskstar padded after Ebbs, gazing at the starlight reflected on the shimmering grasses. "I miss the old days," she murmured quietly, half to herself and half to Ebbs. "The days when everybody's life didn't hang on my shoulders." She chuckled quietly. "Sometimes I just want to leave it all."

Ebbs' mouth pulled in to a wide grin. "I remember those days as well. Heck i remember the day you became an apprentice." The black she cat's ice blue eyes glittered with remembrance. "I was a wet behind the ear new warrior back then... So eager to prove myself..." Ebbs' felt a frown try to over take her but she pushed it away. "Remember how you me, Eaglesight and Goldheart used to meet all the time on the border when we were all warriors? We used to get in to so much trouble with our leaders." The black she cat lifted her face to the stars and laughed loudly. "Oh those days were so care free."
