OOC: Ok. Were basically still in the begiining. Its day 2 and Dino, and Rose just got from sleeping up in a tree because they didnt want to be in the plane. The others are still in the plane now because they just slept there. Dino and Rose are out looking for food and find a berry bush. And now Rose sees some animals coming.

IC:Dino looked up from where he was picking the berries. His eyes grew wide when he saw the animals and he stood up slowly. "I think you should get up..." Looking down slowly at Rose he watched as the animals came closer. Looking at them closly he saw there teeth and the structure of their bodies. "They kinda look like African wild dogs...but at the same time Hyeanas....I wonder if...." He trailed off as one of them got closer and waved his tail for the others to follow.

Rose got up slowly she saw the dog wave his tail she whispered to Dino "I think we have to run so that we don't get seriously hurt" She started to back away. She hoped the animals woulden't charge at them. She had fear in her eyes and she thought the animals could see it because another one started to close in on her. She wanted to hear Dino's reply and fast otherwise they would be on the menu too.

Backing away Dino took out his pocket knife and showed it to the dogs. "Ok...you run and make it to the plane. The dogs will follow but Ill try to keep them away as much as I can. Tell the others keep the doors closed untill I come back and say its safe." Standing still he looked at the dog closest to him and watched as it drew forward. Some of them lookede afraid of the weapon at first but then came closer. "GO!" He yelled to Rose and watched as the dogs came closer.

Rose took off in an instent as the dogs where running at her heels. She ran past the tree with the bees and kept running. Just as she thought she was safe once she had just past the bee tree she felt a heavy weight ontop of her and she screamed the dog was on top of her. "Dino help!" she screamed again. The dog scratched her arm and it started to bleed she wailed out in Pain.

Dino held off most of the dogs but saw the dog that was closest to him run after Rose. Turning around he saw the dog jump on her and bite her arm. "IM COMING!" He yelled as he ran to her but another dog jumped on his back and pinned him down. Twisting on the ground he managed to shake it off. The dog fell to the ground and started running again. Before it couuld catch him he ran to Rose's side. Pulling the dog off he grabbed her on one side and started running with her. "Come on we have to make it to the plane." He ran past the tree they nested in and called to the other zoologist. "Everyone to the plane!"

Rose ran beside him her arm bleeding. She ran inside the plane and looked back out to see the wild dogs giving chase. She waited for Dino to get in the plane and shut the door. She held her arm where the dog had bit and scratched her It was very painful. She hoped that the dog didin't have any desiesis like rabies. She did not want to die like that.

Making it inside the plane one unusual colored dog tried to get in snapping at him as he pushed it out. Watching Rose close the door. He sighed in relief. "Was it just me or did that one dog look like a shaved german sherpherd?" He talked in a playful voice but he was really asking the question. Standing up he looked out the door and watched the dogs jump at the door. The unusual colored one sat down staring at him, and as if called by someone lifted its ears and ran off with the others. "That was weird...." Thinking about the books he had read about poachers and dogs he looked out the window on one of the seats and saw the dogs circling the plane. "I wonder if...." He stopped and looked around, Dino forgot the other zoologist had already been in there. Narrowing his eyes he sat down on the seat and looked toward rOSE. "You should sit down there not going to leave anytime soon..."

Rose laughed "Yes that one does look like a shaved german sheperd" she said. She sat down next to Dino and said "I hope by tonight they'll leave" she looked at the other Zoologists Noel was the only one still sleeping "wow she's been asleep for a long time" she said. She had seen Noel up the other day "I geuss she went to bed late last night" she said thoughtfully. She shivered as she looked out the windows the wild dogs had an evil glare in their eyes that held hate and hunger. She had forgot all about her arm that was still bleeding.

Clarafone gasped. Rose's arm was covered in sticky, red blood. Digging in her purse, (yes, Clarafone keeps all kinds of stuff in her purse casse of emergencies; she's experienced a lot because of her being a zoologist) she pulled out a large wrap and some antibiotic medicine tube. Walking towards Rose, she said, "Um.. Rose, this might sting a LITTLE bit.." Clarafone emphasized 'little'. Just her sense of humor. She let the medicine drop to her palm and rubbed it onto the cut. She was Rose wince. "Sorry," she mumbled playfully. Next, she took the wrap and covered Rose's arm with it. Tying the two ends together, Clarafone leaned back. "Hope that helped," she said with a twinkle in her eyes.

Laughing Dino looked over at Clarafone who had just fixed Rose's arm. "You seem like you know alot about medicine..." Looking back at the window he yawned and watched the dogs sit and lie down to wait. "Looks like there not leaving anytime soon." Feeling safe he did the same and began to doze off.
