"Well we are always happy to have another idiot in our group, welcome to the club, moron." He said puting his arm around the two girls. He smiled meanly as he fixed his glasses. While he was fixing them he touched his scar then rapidly pulled his hand away. His eyes were in shock. But then they retured back into a sarcastic mean and bored glare. "What? Is this my good side?" He said pointing to his scar.

Richard glanced around him at all the strange critters skittering about. His teeth chattered unintentionally. "Help!" he called out and turned away. He raced through the forest around him. Nothing was making sense. Just a moment ago he had been in his father's study and now he was in the woods. That was just great... After a long time his legs protested any further running. He panted heavily and wished that he could find someone, anyone that could help him get back home. His large dark eyes brimmed a bit with tears. His tenderhearteness left him in a state of complete openess to the world around him. What was he going to do if he couldnt find anyone to help him? The story Jumanji popped in to his head. What if he was like the main character and stuck in an unknown world until some outside force brought back 10 years from now. The golden haired boy shook with worry about what was to come if it were true. "Help!" he called out again.

Julie Maya stared at her granparents library with a mystic look in her eyes. All the books and scrolls; they read of ancient Mayan tales, every single one was written in French, though Julie could read them in English as well. Sighing deeply, she strolled along the walls, a slight hop in her step as she looked around. Books were her favorite, letting her escape into a fairy-tale life that was too good to be true. So as she walked past her favorite tales, she stopped and first picked one, then another, until she finally stopped. The end of the bookshelf she stood before was the end of the Mayan tales; the stories she had memorized. Settling into the large arm-chair that took up a corner of the library, she set the book down upon the table, incidentaly knocking down a paper-covered... regtangle?

Leaning over, she picked it up and carefully unwrapped it, sure it was fragile and easily broken, like the many other books her grandparents had collected. Looking at the book, she knew she was right. It was still covered in dust, and the pages rims were yellow. But it felt comfortable in her hand, like a book that was calling to her. Pursing her lips, she stared at it and then carefully dusted off the cover, to see the faint letters that spelled, "Rosewood." She skimmed her hand lightly along the cover, and then decided to finally open the book to the first chapter, too eager to even read who it was by. Seeing the words, her mouth burned, and screamed to be opened; to read the poetic words the writer had made. And so Julie began to read.

Once, in a world not unlike our own, There was a forest. It was grand, the trees growing so high, you would swear the clouds would swallow the tops. All around, the smell of roses draws you in, from which the forest gets it's name. There are creatures of all sorts running about, stopping to look at the strangest one,

Julie began, but never finished. Looking around herself, she saw an unfamiliar landscape of never ending woods. She wanted to scream help, but someone had beat her to it, as she listened to everythign around her.

ooc) Just to let you know Rusty, I'm pretty sure it's in the general RP rules that you can't just know something from another person's post. Your ability does not come with super-hearing, so you wouldn't be able to hear Richard yell help, especially if he was a few miles away. If you were teleported to a strange land, you also would most likely not go wandering off when you've just met people that might have information about what happened. :3 Please change your last post!

Aera turned to Mikaela with a shy smile. "It- it's very nice to meet you," she stuttered quietly. "I'm Aera." She could already tell this girl would probably become a good friend of hers. Just the look of her bright, sunny smile and eager expression in her eyes.
"So what are we doing here?" she finally said. She wasn't sure if anybody would have a certain answer.

Richard glanced in all directions as he stood in the middle of a small clearing. He had managed to stumble upon it when he tripped over a tree root. The trees were spaced out enough to let light from the sky drift in lazily. With a shudder the golden haired boy stepped in to the light. Still full of adrenaline from the run he had just made, nothing seemed to be silent. His ears pumped with blood and caught the sound of every little noise. Those noises only preceeded to scare him further.
The boy crouched close to the ground and tried to calm himself. Losing his head in this situation wasnt going to help him at all. With a few god breathes he managed to steady himself. Now that he was thinking clearer he looked up. If he was lost in some unknown wood what should be the first thing he should do? Stay put and wait for a rescue party. Yet know one knew he had just disappeared after reading a book. For all they knew he was still at his house.
The next thing that came to his mind was that he needed to find a water supply, preferably a stream rather than a lake or a stagnate pool of water. Now that he had an objective it was time to move. Richard stood on shaking legs and headed north, hoping to find some sort of water supply to help him survive.

Mikaela smiled at Aera and laughed. "I really don't know where we are!" she said. "One minuted I'm reading Rosewood and the next I pop up here!" She smiled and looked at Aera. She could already tell they would be best friends. Usually, Mikaela would study the person she just met and really question them, looking into their personalities, looks, stuff like that. She barely knew Aera, but she could already tell they would be best friends. She sighed. "Where are you from?" she asked Aera. "I'm from Tennesse. My parents have a motorcycle shop." she looked down in embarressment. "I leanred to ride a motorbike when I was like 3!" she laughed. "One thing I love more the motorcycle riding is reading." She smiled and looked at Aera.

Asher was thinking hard a bit but she heard the two of them were talking about Rosewood, the book she was reading. She said, " I was reading it too, and I misteriously ended up here. This is crazy, but it's the adventure I've been waiting for. " Ash paused and said, " I live in Seattle. With my brother. It's really nice were we live. Anyways, it's nice to meet you guys. "

Aera giggled softly at the image of Mikaela on a motorbike. It was so her.
"Oregon," she said, her lips curving into a timid grin. "And I love reading. I came here by reading a book called Rosewood, too." She shuffled her feet against the ground nervously, remembering that that book was one of the last physical memories of her beloved father. Still, she forced herself back into a genuine smile.
Then Aera turned to Asher. "I- I used to live in Seattle," she admitted. "It was very loud. And busy. But yes, nice to meet you too."
Suddenly, an image flashed through her mind. She gazed into nothing as her pupils dialated.

There was a boy about her age with golden hair. Tall, too. Though, being a lonely five feet, anything was tall compared to herself. He looked very attractive. Aera examined what he was doing. It was intriging to her because the environment was much like the one they were in now- Rosewood, right? There was long, lush grass beneath his feet, which were scuffling against the ground in a walking form. But it was evening and something told her it wasn't today. Something inside Aera's image told her that he was parched. She was worried for this stranger. He opened his mouth and let out a frantic call: "Help!" and he collasped to the ground, scarcely breathing, dehydrated.

And then she saw Mikaela standing in front of her again with Telec. Aera blinked several times as confusion sunk into her mind. "Oh my gosh..." she whispered, panicking.

IC: Gideon opened an eye, immediately jumping upon doing so as he found that not only was he covered in snow, but because the snowfall had drastically quickened, now barely more than a giant cylinder of white rotating around him. Yet he wasn't cold...? How odd.
No. Over the roaring of the wind he thought he could hear someone yell, though he dismissed it. It was probably either some animal or the wind making the noise. Either way, it was impossible to tell which, so he just closed his eyes again, leaning back against the tree.
It would be so much easier to think if this storm would slow down a bit.., he thought to himself. As soon as he thought it, the storm let up a bit. He raised an eye brow at this, still with his eyes closed.
This place is so weird, he mused.

OOC:
Anyone want to meet up?
