Shia smiled. He grabbed Kiki's leash and clipped it onto her collar. She yipped happily; she knew she was going out. He saw Ash do the same thing with Bolt. Shia looked over at Ash. "Let's go to the parkkk!!!" He laughed and sprinted ou the door; not waiting for Ash. Kiki pulled him happily, thinking they were for a run. He burst out laughing at her different shape; her back side was sideways while her front was correct, and her tongue was sticking out to the left.
Ash grinned as they headed to the park. She brushed the hair out of her eyes. Bolt pulled her along and when they got to the park there was some other puppies there. She shut the gate and took Bolt's leash off. She murmered, " Go play. '' He barked happily and scampered off.

Shia did the same; except for the whispering, "Go play." Instead, right after he unclipped the leash, Kiki ran off. "HA!" he said, smiling. "We shoud've named Kiki, Bolt instead!" Shia laughed and sat on the bent, next to Ash. He put his arms around her and stared into her eyes. It was beautiful. Inside his head, though, he was debating with himself. Should I do the lip lock thing? No... it's a bit early. But heck yeah, she's my girlfriend! I don't know what the friggin thing I should do!!! He opened his eyes and grinned. Shia leaned in close so that he could see every detail on Ash's face...
Lucia pulled away, gasping. Breathe....breathe! She laughed and looked at Kayden. Oops. Are we still on the ground? But instead of getting up, she just sat there, oblivious to the gazes and stares that were being tossed at them, having eyes only for Kayden.

"It is the way of the Creed. Usually our deaths are violent but quick."
Ash felt her heart beat faster as he put his face so close to hers. She tried to gasp for breath but it was hard. She breathed out and the smell of peppermint tainted the air. She didn't know what to do. But then a thought occured in her mind. The thought seemed absurd, but it was true, and she didn't know if she disliked that. Her heart was racing and she couldn't think because her brain was working to hard.

Kayden laughed as he heard her thoughts. "Good idea," he said, gasping a bit as well. His hands were still on her head and her back, but loosely, in case she wanted to pull away. He wanted to read the minds of people around them, to hear what they thought of this odd sight...but he couldn't. Every time he tried, his thoughts raced straight back to Lucia. "You're taking over my mind, not fair," Kayden chuckled lightly.
Lucia laughed. "Looks like I've found another power," she murmured, her face inches from his. "So, I'll take by what just happened, that you're feeling better." A knowing smirk adorned her face. "I guess we should get home, take the next few days off..er, make that the next ten days off," she grinned, knowing the perfect plan to get Kayden's boss to agree to the absurdity of ten days off. Her boss would probably let her off, she never took days off regularly.

Kayden raised one eyebrow, smiling crookedly. "What do you have in mind?..." he trailed off as he listened for her thoughts. His eyes widened, then he closed them tightly as he cracked up laughing. "Okay, get off me, girl, we've gotta do this." He pulled her onto her skateboard and got onto his; they rode back to right outside the Hallmark store, but out of sight from the window. "Okay, so, how should I hold you?" he asked, winking as he stepped off his skateboard.
Lucia blushed at the thought, but quickly answered, "Um...how do guys carry girls traditionally? Like...in your arms I suppose." She laughed, remembering being carried like a potato sack when she was little by her father. "Ya know...um. Well...I don't know, did you ever watch a girly movie on our girl movie nights?"

Kayden laughed. "Heck no, I wouldn't be caught dead in there with you guys giggling and blushing and getting all emotional," he teased. "Here...." He put on strong arm on her back, just below her shoulderblades, and the other went under her knees. "Ready?" Without waiting for an answer, he scooped her easily off the ground.
