Anya rushed over to where Kein was. She watched as the rest of her team slowly entered. "Did you guys get hit by a different ambush?" She asked. "What happened, I need to know everything." She tried to support Kein as best she good. A few others of the team looked the same, she knew Kein had a limp, what other kind of inuries occured? She made sure everyone was accounted for as best she could. And prayed to God that none of the injuries were life threatening.
"It isn't that hard to explain, really." He said nonchalantly, "We got hit by a team of Agents. A team double ours." Taking off the mask that covered his left eye, he blinked. "Needless to say, we were hit- hard." He breathed deeply, left eye flickering with a silver tail. "I had to move them farther away from our base. They're still on the loose."
ooc.
I have to go, so I'll be back... I don't know when, though =.=;

Anya nodded. "Good work then. As long as you're sure none of them followed you..." She said. She looked around for Shepard. 'Where is he?' She asked herself. Probably being a hero and making sure none of them did follow them. She reassured herself. She looked to Painter, her eyes filled with worry, hoping he could understand that they needed to find Jason. If he didn't return, she WILL go out and look for him. He was their Beta team leader. She was not about to take charge of this group. She was the youngest one in the facility.
Alyssa groaned, and she heard Kein come in. She smiled. They were safe. She heard the clinking of the tools and she felt them rumaging in her leg. The bullet was now gone, thanks to the great doctor experience. She saw the bullet come out, and the doctor handed it to her. "Yes, it was the same bullet that attacked Painter.." he said, shaking his head. Lyssa stared at it. Such a little thing.. such a big pain. He wrapped her leg up with bandages and handed her a pair of crutches. "Don't strain the leg." he warned. With a final good bye to Painter, he left the room. Lyssa groaned again but got up and used her new crutches to get to the group. "Painter, Kein.. Anya," she said slowly. "Um.. Kein? Where are the other people in Team Beta?" she asked. "Were any of them injured?"
Glad that he didn't have to support his second-in-command any longer, Painter went over to Kein. Then he noticed it was a dagger wound and pulled up a chair from some corner in the room. "Sit. It won't do to strain your leg." Then he turned to Sarah. "It must have been a leak. There was no other way the could have known we were two separate groups and had two ambushes ready." Painter shook his head. "But who?" asked Nathan, looking at the bedraggled group of operatives, soldiers in their own right. They weren't looking their best at the moment. He knew that the Gamma Commander, Louis Partright, wasn't doing very well either. Nathan gazed at them all, wondering if this was the start of the doom of the world's hope. "Someone on the inside. Someone with access to high information," Logan replied, moving away from Kein now that Anya had supported him and a chair was open.

"That was not comforting either!"
"It is the way of the Creed. Usually our deaths are violent but quick."
ooc;; Ah, don't want to drag this out :) I have to leave this RP, I really can't keep up with this kind of thing much anymore. I'm only staying in Needs of the Few, mostly 'cause it's slower-moving. I wish I didn't have to leave this, I really really love my character!!!! But yeah....so...see ya. I won't be on as much, but I'm not leaving the site :)
Sitting down with a soft sigh, Kein fingered the mask that was held delicately in his hand. "I was the only one injured. As I said- a lucky dagger managed to hit me. The rest of the team is coming, they're just behind because something happened-" He stopped as another sharp pain cut across the back of his head. Blue eyes glazed over and Kein sighed. 'Access to high information, huh?' He thought and blinked slowly.
Doctor Mayder, having finished with Alyssa, moved over to Kein and started working on his wound. "So...a leak. We need to find the source of this leak. Maybe send certain mission details to certain people, and then find out where agents are stationed? It'll give us a good idea," Painter suggested, looking around the room. His black tail swished, making his coat rustle as if there were a breeze.

Lyssa listened closly to the conversation, not yet speaking out. Finally, she said, "I think we need to stay out of trouble. Stay out of the open, really. Stay in our hideout and try and figure out about the leak." Her whole body trembled; not even Lyssa knew why. "We need to find out about it, something is different, to perfect." she suddenly got to a thought.. an ending. "Maybe we're being spied on!"
"No, we can't hide. The government will know, and then they'll crack down on us. No, we have to act as if nothing is different. And it's obvious there's a leak..." he looked at Alyssa strangely. Maybe the drugs were still affecting her. "Sarah, we can't let them know we know. At least right now they aren't being cautious." Painter explained. Sarah nodded. "Alright, we'll do as you suggest. I'll tell you when I need you to go out next. Your next mission with Beta may be pushed back a bit."
