Warrior Cats: The Four Clans

IC: Wolf stared at Duskstar, his face stern, eyes serious."I don't have long to speak, so I'll try to make this quick," he said, pausing for a moment as he chose his words as carefully as he could. "While I don't doubt that you did receive some sort of vision from StarClan... I want to remind you, before you go any further with this plan of yours, this plan of StarClan's, about what happened the last two times that anyone tried to unite the Clans. Tigerstar and Brokenstar... both of them supposedly received messages from StarClan, just as you did; both gathered followers; both lost almost all of their followers in one sweeping move; and both died a horrible death. So, I suppose what I'm saying is... Well, given this pattern, I would advise you not to go through with this, no matter how noble your cause may be, unless you are absolutely certain that you can avoid this same fate."
Wolf curled his tail around his paws, blinking, watching several other cats in the clearing. He prayed that he hadn't ofended the BrokenClan elader in anyway, though he doubt he had. And if he did... Well, that was his own fault.
"And on another note," he added. "Perhaps the clans would be more willing to join together if the word 'broken' wasn't included in this new clan's name."

IC: "If you say so," Wolf said, standing up and turning to leave. "Perhaps a name related to the clans being united might work. Anyway, I must go; but heed my warning, or history shall repeat itself for a second time. Good-bye, BrokenClan."

Shatterstep had found a dip in the ground by the Great Rock that would serve as a small medicince cat's den for the time being. She buddied up with one of the apprentices from Thunderclan and walked over to Duskstar. "I'm taking the little one with me to gather some herbs. We'll need them in the future unless you'd rather us stay here" She said waiting for a reply. Sitting down she wrapped her tail around her silver paw protectivly.

Despite her habit of lurking around borders and avoiding trouble with clan cats where she could, Souki still heard of the trouble Duskstar was brewing up; after all, controversy of such a scale didn't come often, and this was a chance she wouldn't pass up. The small she-cat picked her way to her destination, somehow manging to avoid contact up until she got close enough to hear the unfamiliar voice bid goodbye to Wolf.

Her wish to announce her allegience privately was to go unfulfilled. The clearing was still full of cats, and she almost shied away from her goal before reason took over. What did it matter when and in front of whom she said it? It would become clear after a while anyway, and so she stepped lightly through the cats before taking a position slightly further from Duskstar than the two cats which commanded her attention at the moment. No need to rush things.
