Warrior Cats: The Four Clans

Mosspaw woke up. The sun was shining hard on IvyClan camp. She yawned, stretching her tiny mouth and revealing her bitty, pink tongue.
Beside her lay Amberpaw. She couldn't say they were good friends, but Mosspaw thought Amerpaw was okay. She smiled. Another day of training. She couldn't wait.
Mosspaw had recently been apprenticed. She just started her training 3 sunrises ago, and she thought it was a blast. It was fun and exiting, but hard and sometimes boring. Especially the part on cleaning the elder's den and looking for ticks.
She stretched and licked her paws. Walking out of the apprentice den, she headed straight for the fresh-kill pile. Mosspaw picked out a rabbit, gulping it down quickly. She burried the bones and headed towards her mentor, Bloodeyes.
Bloodeyes was nice. He was very nice. But he looked scary, especially with his blood red eyes. Before he became Mosspaw's mentor, she thought he was scary and mean. But she was wrong.
"Good mornin' Bloodeyes," she said politely to her mentor. Bloodeyes looked down at her and smiled.
"Mornin' Mosspaw. Ready for training?"
Mosspaw nodded enthustiasticly [sp?]. Training was on the top of her list. She loved it. She adored it.
"Where are we going today?" she asked.
"Sun patch. We're learning how to catch a mouse."

Mosspaw looked to where her name came from and smiled. Oh, it was Rosefur. She liked the warrior. She was nice.
"Morning, Rosefur," she said, her high kit-like voice sounding like bells. Her eyes twinkled.
"Good morning Rosefur," Bloodeyes said stifly. Mosspaw stifled a giggle. It was almost too obvious Bloodeyes loved Rosefur. Bloodeyes shot Mosspaw a quick glare. Mosspaw shut up. "We're going hunting. I'm training Mosspaw, actually. Do you want to come?"
Mosspaw smiled a sly smile. So this was a mini date, huh? Bloodeyes was being sneaky and asking Rosefur out by asking her to go training with him...
She pawed the ground, waiting for Rosefur's reply.

Mosspaw giggled another giggle, but it was silent this time. Beside her, she felt Bloodeye's pelt rise and become a bit wamer. He seemed happy that Rosefur was going hunting with them.
She smiled. "Rosefur, we're going to Sun Patch today. I'm gonna learn to hunt!" She stuck out her chest proudly and boasted to the warrior. It seemed stupid -- Rosefur already knows how to hunt -- but Mosspaw was just plain proud.
She trotted alongside Bloodeyes. She kept pace. He seemed unusually slow; he was probably thinking about how to win Rosefur's heart. Her lips curled into another smile. She let it sit there for awhile. Bloodeyes and Rosefur WOULD make a cute couple!

Mosspaw smiled and sighed. What if I suck at hunting? she thought. Her big blue eyes were filled with worry now. What if I suck so much I get kicked out of the clan??? Her knees became weak and her heart litteraly stopped a beat. No, that won't happen. Not with Bloodeyes as my mentor, she thought. Silly me, filled with all these mouse-brained worries. She felt a little bit better, and hurried up and caught up with Bloodeyes and Rosefur, just in time to hear her ask, "What are you thinking about?" Mosspaw smiled. Oohh.. time for Bloodeyes to confess his love, she thought. "Uh..." he muttered. "Uh.. actually.. nothing, really." Mosspaw swore she saw his black cheeks redden a little.
