Looking over his shoulder Cliff laughed alittle and turned around. "Took you long enough to wake up." Wagging the stub of his tail he turned back to Karmabell waiting for an answer. Thinking of a few reasons why she gave out the presents he looked at his chain then back at the husky.

Bluebell gave a laugh. "what can I say? I'm a tired ol' bum." he smiled and then looked at the two dogs. He sighed and trotted away. Might as well do something exiting. He walked out of the abandoned building and out into the fresh air. He sat down and looked around. He smiled. He always prefored outside, then inside. He gave a sigh and stood, walked along the sidewalk. Sometimes he missed his family.

Rolo kept on playing but she kept on wondering where did all te presents come from? Then she scented it! Karamabell! It was christmas! Well, thats at least what Karmabell always told her. So Rolo sighed then ran around making the bell ring and barking yay! Every time she made it ring.

Ashton woke up to the excited Rolo. He blinked his eyes and yawned, showing his huge white tongue. At last his eyes focused and he saw Rolo playing with a toy ball. Oh yes, he thought. Christmas. Or Karmabell's birthday. Or whatever. He yawned. Ashton never cared for his birthday. It was March 27. He never celebrated it, never. Only when he had owners. They filled him with treats and new clothes, food, presents of every kind. He sort of missed it.

In front of him was a package. From Karmabell, it wrote. He sighed. She was giving out presents.. again. It was not that he didn't like it, it was that he had no use for it. He tore open the wrapper and found a rubber bone. Ashton bit slowly on it. It tasted like.. bacon. Bacon. He sighed. Karmabell was creative, yes.

Shep smiled at Karmabell, " You did all...this. " She choked the words out. " Why? "Then she spun around saw Ashton. " I'll be right back. " She manuvered towards Ashton and saw he was chewing on a bone. He looked deep in thought. " Bacon flavored? " She guessed, that was is favorite. " Look at my coller. " She dropped right down next to his bone. Then she took a sniff of the bacon bone and sighed.

"Sorry Cliff! I was kind of spaced out there!" Karmabell said with wide eyes that she continually blinked. "Its Christmas! At least thats what my mom always said, Christmas is a weird, but loving, human holiday! Where families give eachother presents! Its very fun!" Bells left out the 'her birthday' part, she didn't want any presents! Anyways, as Karma sat She watched the eyes of her family light up as they saw there present and her eyes began to water, she was so happy they all liked them! "Do you like yours Cliff!?"

Bluebell walked a long a smooth sidewalk, though he wasn't walking to far from the others. He didn't want them thinking he was lost. It was Christmas. He didn't know if he had any feeling for the holiday. He did once enjoy it very much when he was with his "family". Bluebell sighed and stopped walking, sitting down on the cold ground. His splotched color pelt blew gently around as the wind touched against it.
