Nearra grinned, watching him. "I don't have a license yet. Sophomore, remember. I can't wait for it though. Giggling softly, she shifted in her seat "But, yeah. It's nice at this part of life." She stared down at her notebooks and banana peel. She'd toss it in the trash when she got up. Nearra briefly wondered how much time she had before she should head back to class. It was so nice out, she thought, tugging her hair out of the ponytail praying it wasn't a mess. Nearra really didn't want to go back to class.

Carsten started humming the bass part of a jazz song from his A Capella choir. After a few moments, he absentmindedly slid his phone out of his pocket to check the time. "Ach, so ein Mist," he muttered in German, rolling his eyes. He stood, zipping up his backpack. "I've gotta get to my locker before third period," he explained. "See you later!" He winked playfully at her as he turned and walked bouncily away.

[ ooc; apologizes if this wasn't enough time for your characters to get together and socialize but keep in mind this isn't the main plot of the role play. if you really must carry on interactions into third. ]

A small smile stretched across his features. "Of course," he agreed with a small laugh. "It's going quite well, thank you." After a small pause, Yoichi continued, "And we have a concert this weekend, on Saturday. If you're free from five to seven, we're having one in the school amphitheater. Fund raising, you understand. After all, it's never too early to fund raise for Christmas." It was just after Halloween, so in truth it was a little early, but it wasn't as if Yoichi had a say in this anyhow so he might as well go with the flow.

If Yoichi had noticed the cold look Common sent his way, he didn't show it. The bell to usher the students to third period rung as Yoichi reached behind his back to pet the other boy's hand and he mumbled something under his breath with a smirk that was more native to the Caucasian's face than his own before he walked away to pick up his own backpack to leave to third. It wasn't an especially long reprieve since they shared the same third, but it would give the other boy some time to work out his thoughts. The boy's slender back disappeared into the swarm of students mobbing into the science building as people began to register the ringing of the bell.

oOc;; then Malia is in art, not math. ;3

iC;;

Eyes wide, Malia stared at the art the teacher was working on. She had sat there through lunch, since she was not particularly hungry, and it would spoil her appetite for the large dinner she ate after hockey. Watching as students piled in, and took their seats next to their partners, she nodded to the boy who sat beside her, and continued on the drawing she was working on. Everyone merely took out paper, and drew. And drew. And drew. Her eyes were careful as she peered at the boy beside her. He had a really... interesting knack for art. His pencil was just another part of him as he drew.

Carsten all but trudged to his locker, blowing out a small sigh as the bell rang. He quickly exchanged his textbooks and binders at his locker, then strode to his nearby third-period class. History. He somewhat deflated as he sank into the chair behind the always-too-small desk, the teeny tables that were somehow supposed to hold all the junk they had to have out during class.
The teacher earnestly began to speak, immediately jumping up to the front of the room. How she could be so enthusiastic about education, Carsten had no idea. He half- took notes and half- doodled in the margins of his paper, trying to concentrate on the teacher's perky voice and struggling to pull his mind out of the dark abyss it always sunk into around this time of day.

Nearra picked up her books and gathered the rest of her things before standing and heading back into the building. She tossed the banana peel into the trash and, taking a deep breath, stepped into her next class. Music appreciation, ugh. How could anyone in the class appreciate music when all the teacher did was sit on his podium with his nose in his own person laptop.
She took her seat and pulled out her notebook, already doodling hearts and stars in the margin wondering if the teacher would say something to them today. Or, maybe just maybe, the class would fly. Nearra scoffed silently. Yeah. Like that would ever happen.

ooc: my guess is that we're in 3rd period, am i correct? XD

ic: Summer opened her locker, the blue one at the end of the hall. She spun the lock around. 6-24-14. It clicked and she opened it. Stuff instantly fell out. There were bent books, torn binders, all a horror. She sighed and organized to where it was better than before. She grabbed her iPod nano and phone and headed to third period, gym.

She opened the door right before the bell rang, and was so close to tardy. She strolled in, making a scene and people rolled their eyes. She sighed as she went into the locker rooms to change. Summer slipped on the ugly gray gym pants and shirt and then locked herself in with her iPod. Jay Sean's 'DOWN' blasted in her ears, and she sang along silently.

The walk was a long, frustrating battering of the mind for Common. A soft shiver trickled down his back and he bit his bottom lip, chapped from the wind. Common Weils did not like this feeling of...not being in control. As he thought, his blue eyes narrowed as another gust blew up.

Third period, shared with both Julia and Yoichi, was drama. It was taken in the open area where students had lunch under a so-called roof. The roof, in reality, was a sturdy metal sheet that extended quite a-ways. There was also, for drama, a neat little shack that was placed near, but not so close to the lunch rush, the sheltered area. It was a modified costume and changing room, fitted neatly with hangars of dresses and boxes, filled to the brim, with fluorescent cloths and complex backgrounds. Mrs. Sianyde, commonly known as Ominpolar woman aka. OW by her students, was a lovable, completely unpredictable, and utterly insane teacher.
They all loved her.

Julia shrugged, and followed a ways after Common. Maybe they would do more improvisation today. Oh, she loved improvisation. She was glad that she had taken Chemistry over the summer, allowing her two electives. Naturally, she had chosen drama. She loved acting, and she loved being in the spotlight. What was there not to like?
