As soon as the cave wall shut behind him, Nath felt caged, trapped. His life as a pick-pocket had taught him to hate enclosed spaces with no escape. His heart thudded in his chest, as he gazed at the torches around the walls. Fire. Like the one that destroyed his home. He shook his head desperately to clear the memories, when the suit of armor before him began to move. He had noticed in the corner of his eye a painting of a pheonix on the wall. Some kind of symbolism? The suit began speaking, and Nath hid his shock well.
"Accept this challenge or die," it rasped. Nath swallowed. Death? He had never contemplated death before. Sure, a life in prison, but never death.
"All right. I accept," he almost whispered, but the suit charged at him instantly. He rolled out of the way, almost instinctively, as he looked around the room. The torches would be no use, they would not be able to burn through the suit. And if they did, there would not be much there. Then he spotted a club where the suit had been sitting before. Oh, good, it had spikes too. He sprinted over there, not breaking a sweat, and picked up the thing. He staggered for a moment. It was heavy. He attempted to lift it above his knees, and failed. So instead he set off running, for the armor had charged again. As the armor came close a third time, he swung as hard as he could and hit the armor's legs. It stumbled and he dashed off again.

IC: Korian raised an eyebrow as the entrance to the cave closed, throwing him and the suit of armor into nothing but torchlight. He sighed; most likely this was some prank or something. Still, they had done a good job of decorating this cave...
He strode forward slowly, up to the portrait. A coyote... Interesting; he had always liked them -- he felt they represented him quite well, as they both shared rather cunning traits. Yet this was far too elegant to have been made just for a prank...

"Accept this challenge or die," a voice said from the back of the cave, prompting Korian to look around. He did not see anyone; they must be in the armor. "Defeat me, and receive a reward..."
Korian rolled his eyes. "Alright, I'll play along with you," he said, turning towards the suit. "What's the challenge?" In response, the suit stepped forward, raising its sword. This was beginning to get weird. "Right, then -- I accept, I guess..."
Immediately, the suit rushed forward. Korian, caught off guard, had to move quickly to avoid it; the suit swung its sword into the wall, creating a large gash in the stone.

"This is just a little too weird for me..." Korian murmured.

OOC: Looks like you've got things all figured out.

IC: Alex quickly moved out of the way again when something caught her eyes. A spiked club. That'll come in handy. She thought. Alex glanced back at the armor monster which was recovering from its charge. Alex jumped to her feet and ran as fast as she could for the club. She noticed the wall it was leaning on had a painting of a bat-human creature on it. Alex had no time to study it though, for she heard the heavy footsteps of the suit of armor moving towards her. Alex scooped up a baseball sized rock and threw it behind her. She heard the sound of the rock striking a metal object and the armor stumble a bit, but it still seemed to be running towards her.
Once Alex reached the club, she attempted to pick it up, but it was much heavier than it appeared. She looked up and saw that the suit of armor was about to reach her. It had a small dent in its shin, but that didn't seem to slow it down.
"C'mon!" She growled as she attempted to move the club.
The club moved slightly and Alex summoned every bit of strength she had to swing it.
When the suit of armor saw Alex swinging the club, it attempted to come to an abrupt stop, but ended up a  little too close. There was a loud, screeching noise as the metal spikes ripped through the armor's waist.
Stumbling backwards, the armor monster had trouble maintaining its balance. The spikes had ripped the front of its waist apart and the weight of the rest of its body caused the metal to crumple and the suit of armor collapsed.
Alex sighed, glad the battle was over.
"What now, you crazy knight?" she grinned.
"The battle ends when one can no longer fight," the head looked up, its eyes still a bright green.
Its hand shot forward and ripped the club from Alex's hands.

OOC: Whew... Long post. Guess I got a bit carried away. Oh, well. Just trying to show you guys something. Hopefull you'll figure out what it is. (May be a little tough)
You guys should think of this like fighting a zombie. You all know how to kill a zombie, right? (This is not what i was trying to show you)

Edit: It looks so much shorter once its posted O.o

IC: Korian dodged under another swing, rolling towards the back of the cave. He had made note of the mace behind the armor upon entering -- however, he doubted he could lift that thing before the armor got to him. So, he was going to have to get... creative...
Kori edged sideways, underneath one of the torches. Sure, fire wouldn't harm metal -- however, it didn't need to defeat it, just temporarily disable it. He tensed his legs, preparing to jump out of the way. The suit raised its sword again, lunging forward. Without a moment to spare, Korian rolled to the side.

Looking back, he saw that the sword had become lodged in the wall. As well as that, his plan had worked -- the torched had hit the suitdirectly on the head, disorienting it. He ran over to the mace, grabbing it, attempting to lift it as the armor recovered from the attack...

Ooc: Dusky doesn't know how to kill a zombie. XDD

Ic:

Nath ended up managing a few more swings, one of which almost knocked off the suit's foot, before feeling the first strains of exhaustion. It was rare that he felt tired, and it was a strange feeling to him. The suit charged once more at him, and he swung as high as he could, managing to knock its head off.
"Do I...win yet?" he panted.
"The battle is over when one cannot fight any longer." The headless suit reached up and latched onto the club, attempting to tug it from Nath.

OOC: Number one rule,  get rid of the head. You did that, now you gotta make sure the body can't move. It should be pretty easy seeing how this guy is hollow and you're surrounded by things that can harm metal pretty easily. Fire is also a good thing to use on zombies, but that won't work well on a living suit of armor....or would it?
There appears to be a lot more this test than just fighting ...

IC: Alex jumped back in surprise.  Using the club, the suit of armor disconnected the top half of its body from its bottom half. Alex's eyes widened in shock as she noticed that the suit of armor was empty. The eyes in the helmet seemed to glare at her as it swung the club with ease. Alex backed up against the wall, she felt the spikes graze her legs. Alex launched herself from the wal and jumped over the armor. She quickly scrambled back on to her feet when she hit the ground.
The armor turned around and began to crawl towards her as fast as it could move. Alex picked up another rock and threw it. The stone struck the shoulder of the armor and it grunted. It attempted to move its arm but found that the dent was interfering with its movements. The armor ditched the club and began crawling with one arm. Alex grabbed one of the torches off the wall and held it like it was a sword. It wouldn't be as helpful as the club was, but maybe it could help her.
The bat in the painting seemed to be watching the fight. Its teeth were bared in a frightening grin. Alex began to worry that the bat would appear and challenge her once the suit of armor was destroyed.

'Once the other can no longer fight...' Nath swallowed as he understood the meaning behind that phrase. The suit pulled, and with a strong heave, ripped the spike out of Nath's hands, quickly spinning it around and swinging at him in the same movement. Nath ducked, and was barely able to avoid a stout hit to the head, something that would have killed him. He flipped backwards into the air to gain a bit of momentum and to get away, when he realized that the suit did not need eyes to see. The head was laying somewhere by the side, and Nath ran by to pick it up. It was not as light as he hoped, and as he lost a precious second, he picked it up and leaped forward again. However, the rest of the suit had caught up and swung again at his calves. He had avoided a total shredding, although the bottom half of his trousers were ruined.

Ooc: By the way, what time is this all occuring in? I need to know what kind of clothes Nath would wear :D'

OOC: @Rustfur-There's still a spot left, but a raven isn't an available form. If you want to be a Protection WM the forms are Turtle, Elephant, Mammoth, Stegosaurus, Golem, Ogre, Cyclops, and Scropion.

IC: Korian heaved, managing to lift the club. Grinning, he faced the armor, which had recovered from the attack and was preparing to charge again. As it lunged forward, Korian moved, swinging forward, managing to catch the thing in the stomach. Unfortunately, the sword grazed his shoulder; he ignored the pain, moving away from the suit of armor. He highly doubted he had killed it, so he quickly worked to set up another trap.

The armor, dent and torn up in its stomach region, pushed itself up, facing Korian. He stared it down, stepping back, careful not to touch the club he had propped up on one of the torch holders. The armor swung again; Korian rolled away, as the sword hit the club's handle.
Needless to say, it fell, directly on of the armor's head.
"Had enough?" he demanded. "Or do I just have to keep on outsmarting you?"
