Ic: Embertail strode through the tunnel into the camp, a thrush clamped in his jaws. He was followed by Riverheart and Skyfeather. They burst into the camp and Embertail went to go drop his kill on the fresh-kill pile. He knew that his sister wanted an apprentice badly, and that's what he wanted for her. He knew that he was young, but he kind of wanted one too. He hoped that he would get one. He lunged toward the place where Twisterstep sat, eating a sparrow. He looked up. "Well done," he said, happily.
Ooc: Who should rp Twisterstep? If more than one person does it, he will have more than one personality

Willowtail was padding into the camp she could not wait for the apprentice ceremony. She was wondering who would get the apprentice. And who is the apprentice. Willowtail over to a nice place and relaxed like she always did. Willowtail began to think would herself feel bad if she did not get the apprentice? That was a hard question. So she just sat there and thought about it. She kept on waiting until the Apprentice ceremony to see who would get the apprentice and who would not.

ooc: @ jaggs: originally, Twisterstep was Ebonycloud's character. We let him live in peace, ruling under Ebb's command. I don't know about now, but some characters were okay when roleplayed by several people [whisper]. I personally think Ebonycloud should roleplay him again, since she already did so and because she played him last roleplay, she knows his personality best...
ic: Birdsong slowly remarked the border, having her scent sink in. She knew ShadowClan was staying on their side of the border, but it was wickedly close to theirs. She marked them well, giving a mental note to ShadowClan to 'stay out of their territory'. Then, she padded back to camp just in time for the apprentice ceremony.
Secretly, Birdsong hoped this apprentice was hers. She was a young warrior, made a warrior a few moons ago, so she knew Jaystar would more likely choose a more experienced, senior warrior as the mentor. Skyfeather was an obvious choice, strong, brave, and a great cat. Close friends were they, but yet quite different. She sighed. Both their parents were close friends, which brought them quite close. But something was strange about Skyfeather and Embertail. Some warriors seemed to glare at them, acting as if they were traitors. But Jaystar didn't, for he was a better leader than that, and for he was quite blind.
She padded over to Skyfeather. She was putting down prey in the fresh-kill pile, stocking it up. Birdsong licked her lips. "Brought prey back to the clan?" she asked. Her stomach grumbled. "That's a whole lot, Riverheart, Skyfeather," she praised. Her eyes gleamed with amusement. "But unfortunately, there are some lazy, fat, bums who will eat it all in a few heartbeats." She swiftly grabbed a mouse and ate it. "Now..." she said, swiping her mouth clean, "Let's wait for the apprentice ceremony. Oh, don't you wish to be the mentor?"

Ic: Embertail stalked toward where the others were. There were two apprentices going to be made today. He thought about who they could be. He thought all the way across the camp and stopped when he reached the others. He nodded at Birdsong. "Greetings," he said, and turned to his sister and Riverheart. They were great friends. Riverheart was a nice cat, and he never gave them a glare, ever. He was a true friend.

Strolling out to meet his friends, Kestreleye purred a, "Hello," and sat beside Riverheart. He had not gone hunting with them, or went on the patrol. Rather, he had stayed in the camp, and spoken to his father Foxleap. He was a newly made warrior -- it had been only a few days since he had become one, so he was not worried about getting an apprentice or not. He got one, or he didn't. It was up to Jaystar, and him alone. He could ask for suggestions from Birchfall, but that at most. His tail calmly flicked behind him. He was not particularly friends with them, since he had not really grown up with them, but he saw them as good cats, and knew they were kind. His father and mother had given him strange looks when he spoke to Skysong Embertail, but accepted the fact they were friends all the same. So he felt comfortable with them.

Willowtail padded over to the freshkill pile. She chose a mouse she began to eat it. When is the apprentice ceremony?! Willowtail thought to herself. She could not wait until she found out which warriors would get a new apprentice. And if she would get one. She sort of wanted one but knew that there were older warriors then she was. Willowtail kept on eating her mouse until it was gone then she waited again for the apprentice ceremony and who would get an apprentice. Then she padded out to where the cats she had gone on a patrol with and sat down over there.

Embertail looked at Kestreleye. "Hello," he said, and turned back to Skyfeather and Riverheart. He really wanted an apprentice, and that was all everyone was thunking about now. He sighed deeply and looked up at the Highledge. Jaystar sat and stared at nothing. But he was staring at something. But what? Was he delving into someone's self-concious?

"You cats are all so predictable," Riverheart meowed, stretching in the sunlight. "You all want that apprentice, I can practically see it in your eyes. How boring. Be at least a little unique," he meowed to Embertail and Willowtail. At least they could voice their hopes or something, like Skyfeather did, instead of stumbling around, their faces as easy to read as the sky. He yawned, and knew that his leader was keeping an eye on him. Figuratively, anyway. Why? He was just speaking his mind. Ah well. Whatever.

"If he dies, then it will be God's will."
"If that was meant to be comforting, it was not."
"Everyone dies eventually. Once you are born, you begin to die."
"That was not comforting either!"
"It is the way of the Creed. Usually our deaths are violent but quick."
Embertail smiled and leaped on top of Riverheart. "Predictable, huh?" he laughed. "Well, those kits are probably the same way. Itching for the ceremony to begin, wondering who will be their mentors, hoping about who it will be," he remarked. He looked at Skyfeather. She did deserve an apprentice. But, he wanted to pass on his knowledge too. "You want me to be open? Here's open. I want one of those apprentices."
