Welcome to the Fight or Flight RP! This RP is based on the book series Maximum Ride. Though only the first 3 since thats all i read. Having read the series would be a considerable help though its not completely needed. However, if you havent read it please try to keep up with the terminology and such. Learn from those who have read it ;D

Okay here is the plot:

You are a group of gentically altered kids called Bird Kids. You are 98% human and 2% avian(bird). You have large glorious wings that extend from your back and with the enhancements of science, you are able to fly. However you have been in a science lab all your lives. This top secret lab is called "The School". Its not a real school with desks however.
You in particular are apart of a series of Bird Kids test subjects that were prototypes. You dont have the same powers as the Flock(Max and her Gang). You do however have the ability to sap the power of any near by enemy.

EX:
If an earser(A large werewolf like creature that is designed to kill you) tries to attack you. You have to be within arms distance to sap their power and double it with your own. You gain their powers and can use it against them. The problem is you are like a bullet oen you are used up you are useless. You can only take so much of their power before you must "Lock it in". When you lock in your power, you can only use that single power for the rest of your life and can no longer sap more powers.

This process is extremely dangerous. You and your fellow Bird kids are unstable and therefore the reason your project was terminated. You must eat more than even Max and her crew must eat and are wasting resources. You are up for termination. This is where your story begins. You have heard of Max and her daring escape. You figure its about time to make your own. You must escape The School and make your own way in the world. You may or may not find The Flock when you escape but that is up to you. Max and her Gang are trying to make it out there just as you are. Fight good and fight hard. Up and away.

Rules:
1. Please dont change the plot line to fit your character and make them the main character. We all like to have the lime light once in a while but dont center the RP around you.
2. Its alright to find love in this RP but dont make that everything you post about. Plus try not to have love at first sight, that gets boring.
3. You can fly but be aware of the fact that you really dont want your wings to be discovered. You have on heavy jackets that hide your wings but have slits in teh back to be able to excess them quickly.
4. There are 3 types of bad guys Erasers(though there are only a few) Fly-boys(Robotic flying Erasers) and the whole world. Be careful out there.
5. Use your powers sparingly and once you have "locked in your power" you dont always have to have it active.
6. You are super strong and can lift, jump and punch better than any human.
7. Dont time skip without letting me know first!!
8. Please dont make any extra powers. You have a set power since you are from this specific experiment. No getting extra powers or limbs like Max and her gang.
9. Have fun!

Wing Type- Her wings are that of a hawks. Long, sleek and black. Extremely powerful.
Personality- I don't really know yet. We'll see what unfolds =]

Apperance- A tall lanky boy with dark ginger brown hair and bright green eyes. He wears a hooded jacket with thin slits in the back so he can easily hide or open his wings. He wears a pair of dirty denim jeans and a thin metal bracelet around his right wrist.
Wing Type- Red macaw parrot wings that have blue and yellow patches where the wings meet his shoulders.
Personality- We shall see ^^"

Personality- Clutsy,kind,will defend all that she loves.

Appearance- Medium sized guy with black shaggy hair and the bluest eyes. He likes T-shirts that are light blue, and leans so when he flies he blends with the sky. It's either that or all gray, depending on the weather. His wings are brown and white with soft eagle feathers.
Wing Type- Eagle
Personality-Not very talkative. He likes to be alone, but likes to be with people too.

Apperance- Tall, long, spiky, dirty-blond hair, emerald eyes, wears almost anything and everything comfortable, which tens to go in the area of long worn boots, baggy pants, and a loose-fitting shirt.

Personality- (Yew people have gotten too lazy with your personalities, conveniently following me when I once said that I had no idea -3-) More of the quiet, observing type, sharp-tongued, yet graceful with words. Even though he's the oldest, he did not want to be the leader of the group, giving orders, having everyone hanging on his words; some people did anyway, for when he spoke it actually meant something.

Thanks so much for joining you guys! XD Also Scorchie =D From the series if i remember correctly each of the bird kids has raptor vision, or can see better than any human with a sniper scope so the galsses would only impare that vision ability ;D Forgot to mention it. Sorry!!

I have read the fourth one and its alright ^^" I just didnt like how he made it to where Max and her gang are fighting political problems. I really care about his political views and he doenst have to slap me in the face using some of my favorite literary characters ;D I did like reading about the Flock again but i just didnt feel that the book was completely relivent. Anyway, i think the fifth book was already out =D Its called Max. The next one to come out is called Fang =D Anyway, I made this character like forever ago. He is actually in my story/fanfic that i never got around to writing that includes Cross from the orginal RP that i made for this =D

I loved that RP! And I think Blaike will also have a mixture of Destiny =] But, well I don't know =] We'll see
