Chapter 1: It was yet another damp and yet bright day in Mudclan that morning. Droplets of dew hung off of the foliage that the trees held, and the Mudclan camp was a tense place. Ravenfrost left the warriors den earlier that morning. He sat just outside the camp entrance musing to himself. He wasnt exactly a fighter by nature but he did well for himself. He would rather sit outside thinking of dumb poems to himself or telling a good story. That was just the way he was. He had never taken to the warrior duties like other cats, mainly because of the atmosphere of hatred that surrounded him day to day. The Mudclan leader, Flystar was awake in camp, and Ravenfrost could feel him. The black tom gave a cheeky grin to the empty air around him. There was no way he was going to let Flystar tell him what to do today. This had to come to an end, even if that meant that the clan poet had to step up to the warrior plate to get it over with.Bonefoot, a Bone-grey tom, also happened to wake up that morning, and left the warriors den, padding out into the rather damp camp. Bonefoot saw Ravenfrost across the camp, and he went to join him. "Hey there Ravenfrost!" he said. He wasn't sure if Ravenfrost hated him, just like he hated the rest of the world, or liked him as a friend. He sat next to the black tom and sighed. This was going to be a bad day. He could feel it. He had the strange ability to feel things in his heart. But, it was a new day. He always had a positive attitude about being new days. He was a posotive thinking cat. Ravenfrost gave a small sarcastic laugh, "Hello Bonefoot. What are you doing talking ot me on such a beautiful morning? Im sure youve got better things to do than talk to an ol' loner like me." The black tom's silver eyes glowed with amusment at his own statement. He was the type to stand off from the rest of the group. He hardly did anything with anyone except his apprentice Gingerpaw. Then again she had been assigned to him, not exaclty a good reason that he liked to be around her. He had to, but then again he sort of liked his apprentice. She wasnt evil spirited like the rest of his clan. She was full of energy and was bright hearted. Bonefoot snuffed. He was also a loner, not taking an interest in others very well, but then again he liked company. He wished he had an apprentice, someone to respect him. "It is a beautiful morning, isn't it? Well, I think it would be a good idea to have a pal at your side today. You just might need it," he said repeating what Ravenfrost had stated. His light gray pelt was dotted with bits of green moss from his bedding, and he shook it off. He wanted to be friends with Ravenfrost, but he wanted to be friends with everyone. But there was that feeling where he wanted to be friends with those that were like him therefore he espacially wanted to be friends with Ravenfrost. So he felt glad to be around him.Back in the apprentice's den,Gingerpaw twitched her whiskers from side to side, and gently opened her eyes preparing for the bright light. As it cam she forced her eyes to stay open, and got up and stretched. She hopped over one of the other apprentices and made her way out of the den. A soft smile touched her lips as she noticed the beautiful day ahead of them. Her eyes rested on her mentor, Ravenfrost, talking to Bonefoot. She bounded over to them with ease, as if her paws were simply floating across the ground. She smiled to both of them, "Good morning!"she happily said as she sat with them, he smile widening even more. Ravenfrost turned his silver eyes toward his apprentice and gave his always present, care-free smile. "Good morning squirt. Ready to start the day?" The tom had started calling her names other than her real name ever since she had been made her apprentice. The name ranged anywhere from Squirt to shortstuff to kiddo. The black tom wasnt afriad of being stared at by the other clan cats. He was strange and he admitted it. He didnt care. "We should be heading out," he turned his attention toward Bonefoot. "Are you heading out too? If so i might have something i want to talk to you about," the black tom had decided long ago it wasnt a good idea to stay in Mudclan for to long. They needed to get out if they wanted to keep breathing this beuatiful day's air. And he didn't want to spen any more time under the rule of the evil Flystar.Gingerpaw bounced on her paws. "Oh yes please! Let's go now!" She smiled whole-heartedly. StarClan could not have chosen a better mentor for the young she cat. She had always looked up to Ravenfrost, one of the most talented and loyal warriors in the clan. He always stood up for what was right. And if anything Gingerpaw had for sure learned from him to always follow your heart. No matter the circumstances. Which she didn't know would come in handy fully or not. Flystar frightened her. And she knew that he was wrong in the way he was trying to lead their clan. But was standing up to him the complete right thing to do? She knew in her heart that it was wrong. And she knew she had to follow that gut feeling, but her parents? She pushed the agonizing thoughts out of her head and focused. She was about to go out with her mentor on a beautiful day! She had no time for silly thoughts. And besides, Flystar would be as menacing and evil as usual, only giving her an even better reason to leave Mudclan for good, even if it was her home. Bonefoot smiled and nodded. "Okay. I'll go," he said. He wondered where they would go. He also wondered what Ravenfrost had to say. He waved his tail back and forth eagerly, like a kit going to explore the camp. A light in his eyes shimmered. He liked excitement. And he was excited too. He took his front paws off the ground and stood on his hind paws, craning his neck. He liked to do this for some reason. He didn't really know why. It made him feel powerful and big. Plus, he liked to feel like he was high up. His tail twitched back and forth, and he excitedley twitched his ears with enthusiasm. Ravenfrost continued to chuckle in a sarcastic way when his two companions agreed the way they did. He trotted away and headed out in to the woods. His black tail flicked back and forth as they headed for the sourthern border. He waited to talk to his patrol since he just liked listening to them talk. That was the way he was, turning the situtaion in to a paragraph as each cat talked, like parts to a never ending story. He put quotes around their words and thought of the best way to describe the emotions on their faces. He enjoyed letting his sense get over taken like that, so that it was like he was reading the wold around him. It was like reading a good book. "So... Anyone else here think that Flystar should go jump in a ditch and die?" he laughed as they padded farther and farther away from the Mudclan camp. He was not careful with his words. He once again didnt care. If these two were truely loyal to the leader. He was dead either way.Gingerpaw jerked her head at her mentors laughter, as her own went dancing in her pale green eyes. "You've just stolen the words right from my jaws!" she giggled. Her heart began to flutter. Maybe she wasn't the only one who thought that Flystar would be a much better leader lying flattened on the Thunderpath. "I thought for sure I was the only one who completely hated that cat." Her claws began to flex in and out as she thought of ripping his fur out, but she ended up tearing as the wet grass beneith them. She was glad to have someone think the same as her. She looked to Bonefoot expectedly, wondering if he thought the same way. Her eyes searched his with a wondering, hoping glimmer that made them sparkle like the stars of silverpelt.Bonefoot chuckled. "Me!" he called. He didn't like the leader, and he thought he was wrong. He wasn't even supposed to be the leader. Why did Brackenstar do that?Brackenstar had been their old leader, and he was kind and wise. Now he was dead, and his son was ruling over them like a tyrant. The bone gray tom shook the thoughts from his head. He liked Ravenfrost's laid-back and carefre attitude. Bonefoot wasn't like that. He was afraid of offending others, but that was leaving him. Flystar was the kind of leader that would drive you to the brink of extinction, so you wouldn't care enymore. He sighed and stretched, letting his aching mucles relax.Halosong yawned and blinked her green eyes. Then she realized it was really late in the morning, " Mousedung!" she jumped out of her messy nest and raced out of the den and after the three cats. "Am I late? Did I miss anything?" She asked Ravenfrost as she caught up to them. Her grey eyes staring at the three cats. She then realized her fur was sticking out all over the place and her body was sore. She streched out and looked at them, secretly trying to groom her fur. Now it was nice and shiny, and Halosong felt much fresher and cleaner.

Chapter 2: Ravenfrost grinned his smile and turned his silver eyes over his shoulder, "Good." The black tom gave a casual nod and a smile when Halosong caught up with the patrol. He chuckled for a moment before he looked forward again, "Well, wishing he was gone isnt going to help at all. Now I dont just sit around all day being wierd. I've thought of a few things we need to do. If you two hadnt noticed, the whole clan is corrupt. What do you do with a leg that has caught gangreen?" He turned his eyes toward his companions. Perhaps they didnt really know what that disease was, still he continued on, "You cut it off." His silver eyes flashed for a moment, almost with a wicked light, only to return to their usual silver selves. "The whole clan is that leg we need to cut off. We have to find the last few of us that are loyal to the code and leave. We can't stay in this dying clan." The tom sat down and let his tail wrap carelessly around his paws. "What do you two say? We are dead if we stay here any longer. I think its the best time to go."he had a seriouse expression on his face, but couldn't hide his smile.Bonefoot nodded at Ravenfrost. "I agree. This clan is falling to pieces. We have to do something," he said. His friend was right. They had to do something, or they would be found out and killed by their own leader. He sighed and ran forward. He thought about what would happen if they were out and the winter came. What would happen to them then? They needed a nice clan to take care of them.......Wait,that was it! They had to start a clan!
Ravenfrost lifted his brows at Bonefoot, "Alright," he chuckled, "So we have two on board other than me." He chuckled softly for a moment, "So, if we leave where will we go? I was just thinking of taking a day at a time. Thats just what i do. Yet i like to hear input. Thoughts anyone?" He turned his silver gaze from Gingerpaw, to Bonefoot to Halosong. "What say you?" he asked with his ever widening grin. Bonefoot thought aloud, "We have to find open territory. I have an idea. If we get stuck hungry out there in winter, with all of those clan cats pushing us around, we'll die. We need a clan, a new clan. It needs to be close to here, to the rest of the clans, so we can get more followers. I mean, nobody's going to join to, 'Hey, you want to join our group of loners to stop MudClan?' Plus, a clan will be stronger," he said. He expected everyone to stare at him and think it was a stupid idea. He sighed, wishing he hadn't said what he did. After all, that had felt embarresing to just blurt out. Ravenfrost tilted his head to the side, "Another clan eh? Sounds good enough to me. If what i said is correct and Mudclan is like a leg that needs to be cut off then we need another clan to take its place." A wicked grin spread on the tom's face, "I like this idea. But who will lead us? Also what about a medicine cat? We dont have either of those." Ravefrost didn't look to worried about it though. He just enjoyed the easy flow of the converstation. He turned his eyes from each cat again and waited to hear the rest of Bonefoot's idea. A leader, duputy, and medicine cat were vital to starting a clan.Bonefoot smiled at the unexpected phrasing he had been given by Ravenfrost. "Well, that's why we have to go around to other clans and gather. Maybe we'll end up with a medicine cat, and leader and deputy, we canc choose that out us. Which one is the best choice?" he asked. He thought for a while. Ravenfrost would be a great choice for one of the lead positions. He thought of who else. They could end up with someone. They would go into a clan and ask whoever hates Flystar but didn't want to have their tails bitten off could come with them and join the clan. But that was risky.Back at Mudclan camp, Whitetail woke with a start, she was late! She scurried out fast not even bothering to groom her white fur. Also not even bothering to look at her leader. She ran out of the camp and into the woods. She saw a group of cats from Mudclan. It was made up of Bonefoot, Ravenfrost, Gingerpaw and Halosong. Whitetail ran for the group. "Hello! Everyone!" Whitetail meowed "what are we doing out here?"she asked with a curiouse smile.Bonefoot looked back and saw Whitetail. She wasn't very well groomed either. He stifled a small chuckle and turned around. "We were just thinking, we have to get out of here before we get killed," he said. The tom filled Whitetail in on the plan, knowing that she didn't like Flystar either. They came closer to the training clearing, a clearing where apprentices were trained. He scented the air and caught the smell of fresh, cool grass, that as always in the training clearing.Whitetail agreed on the plan. "So can I join the clan your gonna make so you can destroy Flystar?" Whitetail asked she hated Flystar just as much as any other cat in the group. It would be the best day ever if she got exiled from a clan that Flystar was leading.Bonefoot smiled. "It's fine with me. Guys?" he asked, looking back at the others. His tail waved and his eyes shone. He felt so rebelious. His leaped onto his hind paws again and stood for a while, waiting patiently for an answer. He loved having friends, especially friends who agreed with him.It felt cool. While Whitetail was waiting for an answer she began to groom her fur making it nice and sleek. It was a little awkward when her fur was all tangled like that. "Why is Flystar so evil! He should go jump in a lake and barely anyone would care." She meowed "he never deserved to be a leader!" Whitetail meowed again, her pleasent smile replaced with a disapeared and was replaced with an anguished grimace of disgust. Bonefoot agreed. This was wrong. The deputy should have been made leader. Brackenstar was great leader, so why did he break the rules so his son could take over the forest? "I think he just wants to show the world how powerful he is. But now that we're going to stand up, he'll be laughed out of the forest," he mewed. He didn't care about MudClan. It used to be his home, a pleasant place, where everyone was friends with everyone. He used to care, but not now. Flystar turned it into a place where everyone hated everyone, and MudClan was despised.Ravenfrost shrugged his shoulders, "The more warriors the better." He gave her a cheeky grin, the kind he always gave out. "So, have we come up with another battle plan? I know we need to find a territory but i dont think we should go around asking other clans for cats. Just doesnt seem right if you ask me. If the clans want to send us cats im sure Starclan will send a medcine cat a message or something like that." The black tom flicked his tail back and forth without care. "Alright. We should move out as soon as possible. If there are any other cats that agree with us im sure we can nab them when they go out on patrol." He gave a wicked grin to his companions. With a wave of his tail he stood and turned toward the south again. This was the border they shared with Sunclan yet Sunclan only ran half way across the border. The other half was unocupied by any clan. That seemed like the first place they should head. The poet turned his silver eyes toward the others and mewed, "So, who wants to lead us there, or should i just continue in the lead?" Ravenfrost wasn't too fond of leading anyone anywhere but if it came to it he would let them follow him. He wasnt a leader, or so he thought.Bonefoot laughed, and flicked his tail as a sign for Ravenfrost to lead them there. He thought to his fellow MudClan cats. There was one cat. One cat that might join them. Wetmoon. Wetmoon and Bonefoot were good friends, and he thought he heard the cat say that he didn't like Flystar much at all. Maybe he could grab him on patrol, like Ravenfrost had said. He sighed and thought, what if Flystar comes and kills them? He would find out soon what they were doing, and they didn't much of a clan to protect them, or to fight.
Gingerpaw had listened to the conversation between the cats intently. "I think it's a great idea that you lead!" She purred. Her mentor would make a fine leader. She began bouncing up and down at the thought of leaving the clan with them to form a new clan. Then her heart sank. "What about my training?" She was about half way into her training, and she didn't want to give any of that up. Would it still count as they made there journey? Or would it be on pause? She shook her head. "Never mind, where will we go? Far away from here? Otherwise Flystar could find us, and send his whole clan after us." She shivered at the very thought of that ever happening.Ravenfrost shrugged his shoulders at his apprentice, "Im still going to train you. Just because we are doing other things doesnt mean i wont take time out for you kiddo." THe tom chuckled to himself and continued on. "Flystar may come to try and kill us but i dont think Starclan is on his side. If we leave now they wont look for us for a while. When they notice we are missing we will be long gone. I think we should travel south a good ways. At least until we are past Sunclan territory and look for a home out there." The silver eyed poet turned his face toward his companions. "Of course im not the type to come up with many well thought out plans. Any thought?" Ravenfrost was a big fan of democracy. The say of every cat in the clan meant something to him. He figured that was because of the tyranny that Flystar imposed.Gingerpaw nodded enthusiastically. She loved adventure! And she was pleasantly pleased that she was going to be getting out of this clan. She hated it here. She started kneading the ground with excitement. She looked at the other cats, waiting for there approval. Her head spun with the exciting and long journey they were all about to embark on.

Chapter 3: Seeing the nod of his apprentice, Ravenfrost chuckled and turned away. "Lets go then," he trotted across Mudclan border and follow the Sunclan border until the sun in the sky began to sink. He turned to look behind him. They had nearly traveled the length of Sunclan since they set out. Mudclan would certainly see their disapperance. Ravenfrost had to get his companions across a river or a thunderpath or something that woiuld cover their scent for about a mile or so. He had to find a way to keep them hidden. A smell hit Ravenfrost nose that made him cringe. It smelled of Badger droppings. That was it! Yet this thought revolted even him. "I've got an idea folks," he called over his shoulder. "The clan will be able to find us by moon high if we dont cover our tracks... The only thing i can see that will rid them of our trail would be to..." He looked past the bush to the foul items he had smelled. "Roll around in that," he gagged for a moment but turned teasing yet serious eyes to his companions. "Or who would rather get caught and killed?"Gingerpaw cringed at the smell and looked to her mentor for any sign of a joke. But she could see nothing in his pale eyes. So gulping, she was the first to roll around in it. It took all of her not to run to the nearest bit of water but with her head down low, she got up and sat a little ways away from the group. "Disgusting." She hissed under her breath. Cleaning herself later was not going to be fun. She cringed at the thought of the taste on her tongue. She took a deep breath in. Trying to get used to the awful stench.Ravenfrost nodded approvingly toward his apprenitce, "Good, my turn." The black tom stepped forward and rolled in the smelly pile. He gagged through the whole process but managed to hold his lunch down. "Your turn," he called to the others. One by one the rolled in it with faces of disgust. Ravenfrost nodded to each of them, appreciating the fact that they did as he said.Whitetail thought about it for a second then finally she meowed "fine." She began to role around in it "eww eww eww eww!" Whitetail yowled, her pale white fur was now an icky light brown. "I almost chose get caught and killed rather then roll in this icky stuff!" Whitetail meowed. "Why are badgers always so gross?! Its sickening!" Whitetail meowed again. With that Ravenstar turned and trotted through along with his clanmates following him. He looked to the sky, now the moon was climbing in to the dark sky. He frowned darkly and called back, "We are going to have to stop soon, i know you guys are tired." He turned his eyes to his apprentice Gingerpaw and mewed, "How you doing pipsqueak?"he knew apprentices were younge and had much less stamina. She shrugged. "Other than this stench, and my paws aching. I'm okay." She half smiled at her mentor. Her eyes were drooping and she longed for her warm nest in the den back home. She shook her head. It wasn't her home anymore. Her home was somewhere up ahead of them, who knew exactly where. And she knew that where they were going, there was a nice warm comfortable den there. Or at least a nest area. Her mouth expanded to a large yawn. "And I'm tired." She mewed finally.Ravenfrost nodded to GIngerpaw and cast a sarcastic grin toward Whitetail, "Well if they werent then i suppose we would have to be." He shrugged his shoulders and continued on, "We need to continue traveling at least until moonhigh or we wont have enough space between us and the clan." With that he pressed on. He kept an easy to follow pace so that he could keep his pale eyes on his companions. The smell that wreathed around his own body made him want to hurl more than a few times along the way. Yet they had finally managed to get away from Sunclan border. Not to far away was a small stream that would provide a good place to wash off. The black tom grinned and flicked his tail toward the stream, "Anybody ready to wash off?" They had traveled for a while since they had rolled in the droppings so it was a welcome relief to see the stream. Without waiting for a reply the silver eye poet broke in to a playful run toward the stream. He gladly jumped in and shook his body in the water to get the smell off.Gingerpaw's eyes lit up like silverpelt and ran quickly towards the stream. She jumped in. She usually hated the feel of water on her pelt, but it was exceptionally inviting at this point. She shook her fur and water droplets went in all kind of directions. The smell had faded to a reasonable one, she smelled like her old self again and jumped out of the stream and shivered. The water probably would have been warm if the sun was out. But seeing as how it wasn't, it was quite chilly. She shook herself once more and looked to her mentor. "Let's try to keep out of all that from now on. I'd prefer not to smell like I crow food. I agree with Whitetail. Badgers are disgusting." She said with laughter in her voice.Whitetail dashed for the stream "yay! Gingerpaw you are right!" She meowed as her fur went back to white instead of the brown. "No more icky badger stuff!" Whitetail rolled around in the stream splashing water everywhere. Then she got out and began to groom her fur so it was really nice and sleek. This could of been the best day ever. Mostly, they had left Mudclan and Flystar. That was the best thing that had ever happened to them so far.Ravenfrost sent a devilsh grin toward the two she cats and laughed a warm laugh. "Well at least we found a stream," the black tom left the stream with water pouring off of him. He didnt look like he was to bothered being wet. In fact he didnt even shake himself dry. He tossed a glance toward the others who were still in the stream, "Come on." With that he turned toward the forest that bordered the stream. "Lets find a nice bush to curl up under and go to sleep," the silver eyes cat led the way deeper in to the dark forest. Each of his steps was outlined with a wet ring. He found a good dense area for his companions to rest and he flicked his tail toward a nice fern bush, sending a few droplets of water flying. "Go rest over there chums. I'll take the first watch."he meowed as they stopped.Gingerpaw giggled. It was so funny the way that Ravenfrost always came up with these strange words. It was as if he was from another origin. She followed where he had flicked his tail, and she spun in a circle a few times. She curled up bringing her tail over her mouth and twitched her whiskers. She watched as her other companions settled in. Her eyes closed and she thought about the day. It seemed like days ago that they first set out from MudClan, even though it was just this morning. She knew they had a long journey ahead of them. And it almost frightened her at the same time it excited her. She had never been hardly past the border before. Now, she was StarClan knew where. Did they walk these skies? Were they watching over them now? Would they help them find their new home? And cats to help them? She twitched her whiskers again. And told her mind to relax as she fell asleep.Whitetail curled up nice and snug. This felt nice almost better then the warriors den but that had this little place beat. She loved the fact that they were leaving the horrible Mudclan and Flystar. But it still bothered her a little she thought about what was happening in the camp right now. They were going to send search partys she knew it. Then they would be taken prisoners then killed. Whitetail shook the thought away then drifted off in sleep.Ravenfrost watched as each cat curled up and slowly fell to sleep. With a contented sigh he turned his silver eyes to the sky that shone through the tree branches. The droplets of water that still littered his fur glowed like tiny stars on his black pelt. He matched the heavens above and with a chuckle a few drops fell to the floor. "I might as well have been named Silverpelt eh?" The strange musing the black tom had never really left his mind but he needed to say that out loud. He curled his tail over his black paws and breathed in the night air deeply. He settled himself down for the rest of his watch, intent on doing his duty to his friends, who were now peacefully dozing off intheir dreams. However, Gingerpaw was in a stranger place.Gingerpaw padded through the darkness. She saw nothing. Every which way, there was absolutely nothing in sight. No trees, bushes, rocks, streams, nothing. Not even the ground was visible. It was as if everything had been painted over to black. She paused and sat down. Her whiskers twitched. Suddenly a bright warm light filled the are where she sat. She looked around, still seeing nothing. A tabby cat began padding towards her. She sat. Waiting. As he got closer, she realized she had no idea who he was. She often had dreams of her parents, and a brother she had when she was very little, but he stopped breathing a few days after being born. But she had never met this cat before. He sat a few tail lengths away from her. She stared at him intently, and he did the same to her. "There is a place." He spoke with a deep tone, that seemed to echo with great intensity. She wanted to flinch and run away from him, but it was as if she was frozen in place. "Where earth and water come together, in peace. But peace and war cannot live together." Gingerpaw shook her head. "What do you mean?" The tabby cat began to pad away. "Wait!" She called after him. But he began running. She chased after him, "Wait! What do you mean?" But no matter how hard and how fast she ran the tabby tom got away.Meanwhile,Ravenfrost tossed a glance sideways during the middle of his watch to see Gingerpaw twitching and shifting in her sleep. He lifted a brown curiously. He figured she was having a bad dream. By now the tom had completely dried off so he was just straight black again. The moon was sinking in to the other side of the sky. He kept alert for the sound of any patrols but it didnt sound like Flystar had sent any this late at night. Slowly the tom stood and padded gently toward Gingerpaw. He tapped her shoulder with his paw and mewed, "Hey shrimp, wake up, youre having a bad dream." He watched her shift again and he gently wrapped his tail around her still trying to wake her from her dream.Gingerpaw stopped racing and suddenly felt a warm sent drift into the air and she felt herself drifting away from her dream, and back into reality. When she felt the quick shift from the black to the hard ground below her she jerked her eyes open and looked up into the eyes of her mentor. "Oh, Ravenfrost." She shook the dream out of her head. What had the cat meant? Obviously something about where they were supposed to be going. But, what did he mean war and peace were not to live together? He said the earth and water came together in peace. So did this mean they were the war that was to inflict on this peaceful place? She looked back into her mentors eyes. "I, well. It was just a dream. Thank you for waking me." A piece of her heart tugged. She knew she ought to tell him. But she was an apprentice! The dream probably meant nothing. It was probably just her fears of leaving the place she had known so well.Ravenfrost chuckled to himself and pulled away from her, "Dont worry about it Ginger. If i hadnt woken you up, they would have heard you from Mudclan." The silver eyed poet could see a bit of worry in his apprentice's eyes and tension in her shoulders. He was about to ask her about it but he felt it was just the dream that had frightened her. "Go back to sleep, or stay awake," he let out a snort for a laugh and sat back at his post. "But remember if you stay up, you will have to deal with your sleepy paws tomorrow."he chuckled.Gingerpaw nodded and put her head back down into her paws. She sighed softly. She knew the dream meant something. And if it really was important, she'd find out sooner or later. She closed her eyes. And pushed any negative thought out of her head and thought only of the things that made her smile. She fell into a dreamless sleep.Ravenfrost nodded and continued on with his watch. The sun was peeking over the horizen and the black furred tom inwardly scolded himself for taking up more than his share of the watch. Yet he never really did anything in the first place so he had more energy than his companions. He flicked his tail back and forht easily and without care.Goldenflower sniffed the earthy ground. She caught a whiff of Ravenfrost, the awkward cat of the clan. He was different, she had to admit, but cool. Her eyes shown with excitement as she followed the trail, her nose stuck to the ground. She padded slowly at first, but then her pace became quicker and quicker. For the energetic, young, newly-made warrior, a tracking game was exactly what she wanted. So she played it with a lot of fun.
At last, she came across the SunClan territory and skidded to a halt. She looked up. Were they really past the SunClan border? Goldenflower shrugged. Ravenfrost was a warrior, he knew what he was doing. She continued to track them. And soon enough, Gingerpaw's scent came into her nose. She looked up and saw the two cats in the distance. Her blue eyes glowed. Mission completed! She ran towards them. "HI!" she said, panting with exaustion from her long trek to find them.Ravenfrost had bristled for a moment at seeing the dark shape moving in the distance but when he heard the voice he relaxed. A wicked smile crossed his face as Goldenflower came in to view. She was another one of the cats he was sure that hated Flystar. "Hey they m'lady," he called to her. His voice was as light and joking as it always was. He called everyone by a name that wasnt truely theirs. He didnt care if they liked it or not either. "So, what brings you to this edge of the woods?" He tilted his black head to the side and grinned at her. The other four cats that were with him were still asleep. "Not coming here to tattle on us i hope?"he felt that she might be friendly, but had to make sure.Bonefoot opened his eyes, awake from the dreamless sleep. He saw Gingerpaw, Ravenfrost, and Golderflower. She must have come during the night, he thought. He ran his tongue through his gray fur and stood, walked out of the den, and sat himself next to Ravenfrost. "I'll take watch tomorrow night," he said. He liked the idea of Ravenfrost being the leader. He was a good cat. Bonefoot saw the sun rising, and knew that it would soon be time to set out.
Chapter 4: Back at the Mudclan camp, Skyflight had woken up for a hunting patrol early, and set off with his two good friends, Oakwing and Windfrost. They laughed and came back with good prey, and he was able to keep his mind off his mother. She was killed almost two moons ago that day. The three ate together, laughing. It was almost too much fun. Like they were all aware of something big comming up; not being able to laugh for a while after. Oakwing and Skyflight helped to reinforce the Nursery walls. A fox had broken in recently. Windfrost went to help Graywind make poulstaces. The medicine cat didn't have an apprentice yet, but she needed help every now and then. Her niece was more than happy to help. Then Flystar called a clan meeting just as the sky changed the final bit from orange to purple, the stars shining behind his head as if to reinforce his authority. He announced that a patrol had gone missing. He said they probobly got lost, which wasn't that bad of a guess. The cats who had been in the dawn patrol wern't that bright. Maybe Stoneheart was loosing his touch at making patrols. Either way, He would send a patrol out in a quarter moon, when the medicine cats went to meet. Skyflight was curious. He didn't know the cats that well, but they wern't unfriendly. The leader called up an elder whom Skyflight knew to be his great uncle, his last living family. Closing his eyes tight, his friends pushed up against him in comfort as he listened to his last known relative get murdered for supposed trechary. The clan dispersed, the three young warriors staying behind to pay their respects. Oakheart and Windfrost sat a tail-length back while Skyflight pressed his nose to his uncle's pelt. "You'll walk in safer skies now," he whispered, low enough for only his friends to hear. He avoided his leader's accusing glare as he retired to the warrior's den, which was a little too cold for an early green leaf night.
The next morning the three buried the body; nobody else would. They went on the Sunhigh patrol, and Skyflight caught the lost patrol's scents. He debated going after them, not to give Flystar the satisfaction of winning, but of his own curiosity. He told his patrol to hunt as he thought about it, stalking a small mouse.
Meanwhile, Ravenfrost shrugged his shoulders, "Sounds good, just dont let me wake up to catch you sleeping." The black tom laughed and nudged the younger tom with his shoulder. "Now," he mewed with mock serious, "Goldenflower, what are yoi doing out here seriously? Its cant be that you want to join us? If you do i hope you realize that you will be wanted and if you are caught you will be killed. Thats the path all of us have chosen... Yet we all choose it gladly. We know where our hearts lie and so should you. If you join us you will be welcome." He gave her a soft smile and flicked his tail back and forth.Gingerpaw woke at the sound of a new voice. At first she was cautious, waking up with a glare in her eye. Then she noticed the soft pelt of Goldenflower, and she jumped up. "Goldenflower!" she purred. "Has Goldenflower joined us!" She said jumping up and down, completely oblivious of the conversation that had just happened. She had always liked the she-cat. She was always really nice, and she always cared for everyone. Gingerpaw looked expectantly at her mentor as if she knew the answer that was about to come out of his mouth. She gave a few rough licks to her ruffled chest fur and her whiskers twitched. The night came and passed, Halosong didn't notice, and when dawn finally reached the tips of the dark night, she broke out of her sleepy state. The sky was already light gray when she woke up and it was turning pink as she noticed the others getting up too. "Morning Already?" She rolled over to see her friends and opened her grey eyes slowly. She stood up and streched. Morning always brought hope - a new day a new chance for them.Goldenflower stared at Ravenfrost. "Well, I was really just tracking you guys," she looked down sheepishly, "But I want to join you. Cause Flystar is..." Her voice trailed off and she spat in disgust. "You guys can't make me leave you. Cause I'm joining no matter what." The pretty she-cat had absolutely no idea what she was really saying, or what they really meant. But she wanted to take revenge on the savage leader for killing her parents, and that was a fact. Bonefoot smiled mischeviously. He liked Golderflower's " You're not gonna boss me around," attitude. He nodded his approval, knowing it meant something to Ravenfrost. That was another reason he thought Ravenfrost would make a good leader. He liked knowing everyone's opinion. He had the feeling he already was a friend of his. He yawned, and blinked the last trace of sleep from his eyes, and he thought about what they would find. He wondered what kind of land their new clan would be on. Marshy, like MudClan, or a warm moor, like SunClan? He thought about it. The back part of their territory that they had been traveling through was woods, and that was probably why they didn't live there.Ravenfrost grinned again, "Alright then new recruit. Welcome aboard. We need to move out now though. Mudclan has probably already had a good amount of time to organize a patrol and track us. We have to get going." With that the black tom roused the other two who were still sleeping and lifted his tail for the others to move out. Once again he felt that strangin feeling that he didnt like being a leader. It just wasnt his style. He was to used to not being important. He didnt want to always have to voie his concerns or be the diplomatic one. He thought with his heart which got him in to trouble more often than not... He needed someone else to help him keep a happy medium. At the moment the others were looking to him as if he already had the name Ravenstar. That wasnt who he wanted to be exactly though. He wanted to be just Ravenfrost, the silver eyed poet. Yet here he was with a comanding yet relaxed arua and a band of cats looking up to him.
In Mudclan, Skyflight put his paws carefully on the grass, his eyes glued onto the mouse. He tensed himself to leap, but just as he relaxed his muscles to take the kill, a white she-cat came from his left and snapped it's neck with her paw, picking it up in her mouth in the same move. She spun to face him.
Skyflight saw that it wasn't a white she-cat, it was a tabby. And it looked like she had stars in her fur, like it was glowing in moonlight that wasn't there. Was that what a StarClan cat looked like? She blinked at him, her eyes the same colour as the night sky. He had a feeling in the back of his mind that he'd known her before. She turned and ran off, leaving Skyflight standing in confusion. "Hey wait!" he called after her, running in her scent trail. It was as if stars marked the ground behind her. Skyflight felt his friends pursuiting him too, but he couldn't hear their shouts for him to stop. "Come back!" he called at the StarClan tabby, following even faster. In the back of his mind, he noted that she was following the lost patrol's scent trail.
He was running a while when he finally caught up to her, leaping on her back and pinning her down. She flipped over, looking through his eyes. "You have a bigger destiny than you know." She whispered, "Your friends will help you, but there are secrets that will pull you apart, beliefs that will be debated. Somewhere in between, you can make things better. You'll know how to help in time." She disapeared. Just... Poof! Gone. He was left staring at where she had been in confusion. He pawed the air a few times before he realised his friends had caught up to him.
"Where in StarClan's name are you going?" Oakwing pressed, out of breath. Windfrost was the same, streaching her paws.
"We've got to find those lost cats." Skyflight spun around, looking at the two desperately. Skyflight didn't explain the whole StarClan vision to his friends. There was something oddly personal about what she had said to him, as if it were a secret that wasn't his to tell. He simply told them about catching the mouse and running through the scent trail.
And so there they were, three young warriors who'd been friends sense apprenticeship, leaving their clan without telling them to find some cats he barely knew. Their scents led him to the Dark Tree, the large oak that had stood for countless seasons. This was where leaders got their lives, StarClan communicated with Medicine Cats. Passing by it, Windfrost stopped, hair on end. "What is it?" Oakwing hissed, tensed for a fight. Instead of nswering, the she-cat turned quickly and curved around the tree, into the roots.
"Windfrost!" Skyflight called into the roots, slipping in after her. Oakwing looked to Skyflight for an explination, but Skyflight just shrugged. When they slipped throught the roots, they saw that the tree was hollow. A hole in the top offered just enough light to make out a small pool, in which one could see the whole of Silverpelt, just comming out for the night. Windfrost had fallen asleep in front of it. The two toms sat quietly to wait. Warriors didn't share dreams with StarClan, but Windfrost must have had good reason... Right?
She awoke several long moments later with a gasp, shaking her head as Oakwing opened his mouth to queston this all.
The three set out again as Silverpelt danced into the sky, running through the forest to cover for lost time.
In an area far from Mudclan, Ravenfrost and his group of warriors had traveled a good distance since the morning. His lithe shoulders worked easily as the traveled at a light pace. His silver eyes always made sure to take in the surroundings so that he could make sure to find a good home for his friends. "Well amigos," he called back, "I think we should try to find something like our old home... THough i doubt we will find to much marsh land out here." The black tom looked a bit worried. He wasnt sure where they could settle since what they were used to catching lived in marshes and swamps. They continued to travel through the few trees that were almost a mile from the Sunclan border. They had traveled far and it took nearly all day to do so. Yet they were determined. Ravenfrost caught sight of a small lake up ahead that almost looked like a pond. It was nestled between an oucrop of pine trees and small oaks. It wasnt a dense looking forest since you could see to the other side of it. Yet there were many ferns and fronds that could hide cats. With enough work it could be turned in to a few dens. A smile appeared on Ravenfrost's face. "We can camp here if we like my friends," he chuckled knowing that they would need to work together for the new few sunrises to get this place in to being a good territory. I smell a good amount of prey here though it may take some time getting used to hunting it but i think this place should do just nicely." He turned to the patrol and mewed, "What do you think comrades?" Still the ever present question of who would be the leader, deputy and medicine cat still hung on Ravefrost's mind. He was sure the rest of the patrol already thought of him as leader but he was still hesistant to take up that responsibilty.Whitetail padded on with the rest of the group until she thought of something that she wanted to ask all day. "Ravenfrost, what will we name our clan? Every clan has to have a name. And without a name were just some group of rogues." Whitetail asked "Also how will we get the word out that were a new clan? Theres the rogue thing again people will just think were some group of rogues so how to we do those things?" The white she-cat added. Because she had to know the answer.Goldenflower cracked a small smile at Ravenfrost's odd language. Heck, he was the odd ball of the clan -- in her eyes -- but she still loved him as she would any other loyal clanmate. She sat down, trying to look exhausted. Her eyes gleamed with amusement, though, and that gave everything away. "Well, I say we rest here," she said. She tried to pretend to pant. "I don't care what you dumb furballs say, if you leave me, i won't care."

Chapter 4 cont.- 'Where earth and water meet in peace.' Gingerpaw heard the words in her brain once more. "I think it's great!" She said trying to sound as enthusiastic as possible, she began looking at the more positive sides. "It's definitely far enough away from the clans. She looked at the rather large pond. Then smelled the air. "Plenty of water and prey." She looked at the others. She kept pushing the the dream out of her head, but its as if it couldn't leave. "We should check around though, make sure there's, well, nothing living here."She said, her voice wavering a bit. Goldenflower laughed. "Look at you, Gingerpaw! You should be a warrior and I should be the apprentice!" She giggled, her eyes gleaming with amusement. "Oh, what help will I be!" She got to her paws. "All right, all right, I'll help and stop being a worthless bum. Now, where do you think we start?" Her stomach growled a bit, and Goldenflower smiled. "I say hunting. I didn't eat today, yet. You guys do whatever you want."She felt excited at the thought of a good hunt. Well, she wasn't used to hunting small furry things, but she was still excited. Still lost in thought and mainley speaking to himself,Bonefoot regarded Whitetail's question. An idea struck. It would be a long shot, but maybe it could be pulled off. "We could go into a Gathering," he said. "March in there like the place is ours, and I know you all think I'm crazy, but that's what we have to be to make this work!" he said. Then, another thing hit him. What about StarClan? The definitely wouldn't approve. Would they? They were trying to stop murder, of course that was good! And besides, Starclan wouldn't let this keep happening, would they?Watching Bonefoot deep in thought, Whitetail thought about it for a second then said "thats actually a good idea. That tells the clans that were a clan now!" Whitetail meowed "we could also maybe point out Mudclan and their leader out. And then the clans might think that we are strong and were not afraid to take them on." Whitetail added with an enthusiastic grin. She felt it was time for a new clan to take the plate of facing Flystar anyways. However, someone else wasn't so keen.Goldenflower gasped. "Bonefoot!" she exclaimed."The gathering place is a place where NO cat owns. No cat lives there. It is a place for sharing with StarClan, with the other clans, so I refuse to step foot there and claim the land ours. Therefore, if you guys decide to march in and claim the land ours, I won't go with you." A smile lit her face. Stubborn as always, the pretty gold she-cat. Golderflower sighed. "But I do believe we should be more of a civilized group. One like a clan, but not completely. For one, we are too small. Two, we have pretty much no place to live that's like MudClan. And three... who will be the medicine cat? No one here has skills of one. Leaders and deputy are easier to find. But medicine cat? We didn't even have a medicine cat apprentice. Only Graywind. And he didn't join us. We all know the simple herbs, say... cobwebs to stop bleeding, but then.. at second thought... how will we survive a deadly disease with no one to help us?"she explained, still determined that they think this through.Bonefoot giggled. "I said LIKE we owned the place! We're not going to live there," he aughed. Golderflower was a nice cat, ha had to say, and he was happy she had joined them. Of course they weren't going to take the Gathering place for their own! He couldn't get the thought out of his head. "We can just go into the Gathering and act casual like we had been there a billion times before, and stay that way no matter how many cats try to kill us!" Bonefoot slapped his tungue over his jowls. "I'm hungry. Can I hunt with you Goldenflower?" he asked.Goldenflower nodded. "Sure, why not," she said. "But AFTER they organize the scouting patrols." She looked at Bonefoot in the eyes. "Still, I won't do it," she said. "I know you think i'm quite stubborn, but we can't even pretend we own the place. StarClan will definately get mad!" She looked at Ravenfrost. "Do you want to organize like a few scouting patrols, since you are probably the oldest here?" Her eyes gleamed with amusement.Ravenfrost hadn't heard her, and was lost in his thoughts.Bonefoot shook his head in frustration. She just didn't get it. It was a figure of speech! He sighed. He turned his thoughts to Ravenfrost. He didn't really want to be leader, but he was an ideal choice. Bonefoot almost wanted to be leader, or maybe deputy. He wanted to become a real clan, and a real clan needed warriors, apprentices, a leader, deputy... A thought hit him like all toughts. Words. Words, like he was seeing the future. They were at a Gathering, and Ravenfrost was with the other leaders, and there were five. He said the words. "...and if any of you wish to jin us, feel free to do so!" he was yowling. Flystar was glaring at him, but cats from the other clans were nodding in agreement. The thought snapped away from Bonefoot, and he smiled approvingly. This might just work out afterall. "We have to go to the next Gathering, and that's final."he meowed defiantley.
Chapter 5: Hoever, Skyflight had seemed to be able to catch up with the group, along with his patrole. At Sunhigh, the small patrol stopped for a brief drink and rest, sharing prey. Then they were off again, running hard now. The lost patrol's scent was stronger now, and Skyflight could almost feel their paws on the ground. He was sweating and panting when he boweled into one of the warriors. The two rolled over eachother, and he ended up pinned under her sharp claws. He waited as the cat who had caught him hissed, a bored expression on his face. Wow, that had been a rush.Ravenfrost was taken by surpise at the hiss of one of his companions. He whirled around to see three cats from Mudclan standing there. He wasnt sure if they looked hostile but the one pinning down his friend looked like he could be trouble. Ravenfrost narrowed his eyes and bristled for a moment but did not take an agressive stance. "Well well well, who do we have here? Am I right to be calling you Flystar's lackies?" The black tom would have greeted them warmly or at least politely had they not knocked his friend to the ground and kept her there. The black tom flicked his tail back and forth signalling that the discussion about their future was put on hold for the moment being. They would not speak another word of it until they found the purpose of these cats. "Are there more of you on the way?" The silver eyed poet closed his mouth despite all the questions he wanted to pelt them with. He knew it would not go well for him, the look on this cat's face didnt make his nerves any easier to deal with. Ravenfrost knew he should know these cats since they were his clan mates but they didnt have the look of his rag tag band of warriors. Ravenfrost already had a problem with knowing the cats in his clan since he had pretty much been a loner but now he had no idea who these three were.Although...he felt as if he might know them.Goldenflower turned around in surprise, hearing Ravenfrost talk in a suddenly unfriendly tone. She saw a fur or blue, and sighed. Skyflight has joined them. "Skyflight," she hissed under her breath. Ravenfrost must've not remembered the tom; he was more of a loner for a time being, then being in the clan.Ravenfrost had also been a loner. Goldenflower knew that he tried his hardest to learn the names, but some just didn't stick. But she could understand him, so she tried to help him out whenever she could... in a nice way.Ravenfrost sent a growl toward Bonefoot since the tom obviously didnt seem him wave his tail for silence. 'Great' he thought 'Now these three have a good idea of what we are doing here...' Ravenfrost turned his face forward and growled lowly again, "If you won't mind getting off of my pal, then we could continue this talk in a more civil manner."he felt frustrated with anger, a spark of fury in his Silver eyes. Goldenflower smiled at Ravenfrost's use of language. She rushed to Bonefoot's side. "Hush," she muttered, fury flashing through the gentle voice. "Ravenfrost." She gave him a lick in the ear. "What are you doing here, Skyflight?" she asked, challenging the warrior. "Did Flystar send a patrol to find his missing warriors?" Her eyes flashed, waiting for a reply. If they were going to fight, her claws were ready for action.Staring at the others and her old clanmates,Gingerpaw pushed herself away from the huge oaf and took defensive mode. It was Skyflight. He was over all, a nice cat from what she could see. But he was always pushing her around. As if she was to be discriminated because she was an apprentice. To put it bluntly, she could not stand the tom. There was something about him that she just couldn't bring herself to like him. Besides, boweling into her like that? It sure enough did not help his case.Ravenfrost saw the indignation in his apprentice's eyes and couldnt supress a small giggle that escaped his throat. Despite being confronted by the large tom she still showed defiance. He thought it was cute the way she did that, cute as in the way you would see a ladybug sit on a flower petal. He grinned to himself and took a less defensive stance now. He turned his silver eyes to Goldenflower and nodded to her, "Dont worry, we can handle this. Just dont look so angry. There are only three of them. It wouldnt be wise if they attacked us so relax a bit. We just need to find out why they are here. Perhaps they aren't even here for hostile reasons." He turned his eyes back to the three lifted a brow.Gingerpaw threw a defiant look at her mentor, but quickly snapped out of it and brought herself out of her stance and sat down, curling her tail around her paws and giving her chest fur a few short licks. She deliberately looked away from the group. She knew she was behaving like a kit, but what of it? She shook her head. This wasn't like her. She was normally happy, and less defiant. She sighed and turned her head back, anger still hiding in the depths of her eyes.Goldenflower stepped back and sighed. "If you say so.." Her blue eyes still had anger in them, and her mind was wondering whether or not Flystar DID send these cats to get them home. Her tail lashed angrily at the thought. She sighed. "Just answer the question," she decided to say. Goldenflower tried to make her face look patient. "Did he send you guys to take us home?"and as she asked her question,Bonefoot raised and eyebrow at the three cats. "Give us an answer before I tear your fur off!" he hissed, with a tint of amusement in his voice, enough so they would notice and he wouldn't get in trouble. He raised himself onto his hind paws and smiled, craning his neck so low that he thought his head would snap off. His eyes burned with delight. If they weren't here to hurt them, maybe one of them had medicine cat abilities. He let out a small laugh. He was excited for the place, and the new clan. He wanted to support it with all of his ability. Skyflight felt anger burn through his body. Why did they hate him so fast and so strongly? He was never rude to them. He just didn't talk to them as much as other cats. He took a deep shaky breath and blew it out, sorting his thoughts. He didn't want to do anything that might make them think he was hostile. "Flystar didn't send us." He said at last, though he wasn't sure if they'd believe him. After all, Skyflight was close to the leader before he started killing cats. "We came of our own will, or StarClan's, or something." the tom shook his head, still trying to figure everything out.
Windfrost stepped forward, gaining the others' attention. "On the way here, I stopped at the Silvertree to talk to StarClan." She gulped, as if trying to find the strength to speak. It was then that Skyflight finally realised how little she was. She was thin, not vey strong, never the best hunter, she had basically been destined to be a Queen her whole life. "I'm to be your medicine cat." she felt nervouse about telling them this. What if they already had a medicine cat? But starclan had said differentley, so what did she have to fear?Barley listening, Goldenflower's eyes calmed down as Skyflight secured that they weren't escorts. She listened to the rest of their introduction. Windfrost stepped up, and Goldenflower instantly felt sorry for being so hostile to her clanmates. Windfrost was definitely a weaker warrior, skinny, not a very good hunter. She spent a lot of time in the nursery. And suddenly, when she spoke, Goldenflower's eyes grew wider. This thin she-cat.. was to be their medicine cat???Gingerpaw looked at Windfrost. She knew her, she wasn't a great hunter, nor the best warrior in the clan. But medicine cat? "You Windfrost? Our medicine cat?" Gingerpaw shook her head. "Do you even know anything about herbs?" Gingerpaw bit her lip. She knew she was speaking out of turn. She was an apprentice after all. Why was this journey messing with her head so much? She apologized to Windfrost and decided to keep silent. Everything would pan out soon enough. Ravenfrost would know what to do anyway. She looked at him expectantly.Goldenflower swatted Gingerpaw's ear playfully. "You stupid mouse-brain!" she teased. She looked up from the ginger head and into Windfrost's eyes. "I would think you would be a great medicine cat, if you spoke to StarClan in the Silvertree," she said truthfully. "I think StarClan chose you, and you'd have StarClan to guide you through your training." She looked at Ravenfrost. "And I think you'd be a good leader!"it was true. And she knew the others might have the same thoughts."No, it's okay," Windfrost nervousley replied. Then she turned and smiled at Gingerpaw. She liked the apprentice, young, brave, curious. "I help Gra--... Helped Graywind out alot. I knew alot then. And when I met with StarClan..." her eyes seemed to focus beyond the scene before her. "It felt like an eternity. I basiclly got training in seasons in StarClan, but moments in this world."
After she said that, Skyflight knew that the sparkle in her eye now was not of wonder and youth, but of age and knowlage. She wasn't lieing. A few beats before he spoke again. "We've come to help. I've thought of leaving the clan before, but always made excuses to stay." He didn't explain what had changed. The last excuse he had told himself was to be strong for his uncle. "If you'll have us," Oakwing murmered. Skyflight knew he wouldn't be accepted as easily as the other two, but he'd try his best."I'll accept you guys," Goldenflower said, her eyes gleaming with trust. "I know that you aren't gonna like.. spy on us or something," She laughed. Goldenflower trotted over to Windfrost and nudged her ear, lightly, gently. Then she dipped her head towards Skyflight and Oakwing. "But... shouldn't we hunt now, Ravenfrost?"she looked at him, with glittering, pleading eyes.Gingerpaw smiled and nodded towards Windfrost. But ignored Skyflights remark. She looked to her mentor. "I agree with Goldenflower." She purred. "You'd be a great leader!" Her mentor was always leading with his heart. And not his head. That's why she knew he would be fantastic at it. It was almost as if the young warrior took after her own father. And that's what she admired most about him. The fact he was good. She had seen far too much evil in her lifetime, and thats mostly why she didn't trust Skyflight. Knowing his past with Flystar, she couldn't see how a cat could change so fast.Goldenflower rolled her eyes. "Great. I talk about Ravenfrost being leader, no one answers. Then I ask about hunting.. AGAIN, and Gingerpaw decides to be slow and comment on Ravenfrost being leader!" She laughed and cuffed Gingerpaw in the ear. "You silly puddy! Of COURSE Ravenfrost would be a great leader, after all, he's probably most senior here.. i think.." she giggled at the thought. "Of course, i'd be happy to be deputy, but i never had an apprentice and i'm young and inexperienced." She pretended to snort like a snobby girl and roll her eyes.Gingerpaw giggled. "Sorry! I agree on the hunting though I'm starving!"giggled Gingerpaw. She got up and bounced on her paws. "Where should we go?!" She looked at her mentor. "If hunting is okay with you anyway, you guys could finish up whatever business you're doing here, because I honestly don't want any part of it. And Goldenflower and I could hunt! And whoever else wants to join." She purred, keeping the fact that she was praying to StarClan that Skyflight would not join them. It wouldn't be hard to avoid the cat. It wasn't back home, so it shouldn't be now.Skyflight's ears pricked with interest. He knew a bit about organising patrols and everything. Deputy would be a nice position. But his eyes wandering to the young aprentice he had ran into a minute ago, he knew they'd never let him in a high rank. Some might trust him, but he would obviously be thought to be ambitious. "I'll go hunt," he stepped away from the group. Oakwing went to follow, but Skyflight wanted some time alone, flicking his tail to let his friend know. Oakwing got the message easily.
Skyflight disapeared into the undergroath. There was a small stream that lead into the small lake the cats were by. He followed it a ways, and found a little spot nice for laying. The stone was still warm from the day's sun, and he found himself laying on it, thinking about how much things had changed. One minute, Skypaw and Flypaw were best friends, getting their warrior names together after a big battle between SunClan and MudClan. The next, his 'friend' was telling him to slaughter his parents to prove his worth to the cause.

Chapter 6: When whitetail heard that they were going hunting she quickly jumped up and meowed "I'll go hunting." Whitetail quickly thought to herself this place is getting so boring just sitting there, and hunting would be very nice. "So when will we go?" Whitetail asked, she always asked a lot of questions but knew that some things she could figure out on her own without speaking up. Whitetail then got up waited until they left for hunting. She was very energetic, mentaly, and physicaly. "Actually, we'd better stay here, there will be too many cats out of our camp!" Oakwing laughed, "Windfrost, Ravenfrost and I can stay here start making dens?" He stated the idea as a suggestion. He felt that would do something to help.
ooc:wow, I type alot. Please post on this, if you want to that is.=3
