[Heh, is there still one spot open? If so, could I take it? :3 Username: Twigstorm Name: Kyler Age: 3 Years Apprearence: Orange-Red with medium lengh curly fur, bright green eyes. Personality(optional): Very close to his ancestors, sometimes ignores Pack rules so he can go and do anything with anyone for his own fun. Rarely gets in trouble for his wrong doings, cause he never gets caught. Kyler is often seen in the healers den for any kind of illness, when sickness goes around, he always catches whatever it is, he may even have started it. Other: Hunter]
After last night, Aiano had gone straight to her den, only stopping momentarily to grab a bite from the buck so the rest of the pack could eat. Her eyes were heavy, but honestly, she couldn't stop thinking about the moon, and her thoughts. But why the moon? Well, Aiano herself did not know. As the sun broke the dark sky's reign, the Alpha's eyes finally began to shut. Just in time for the sun..., she thought, head on her paws. Of course, her sleep did not last long, but it was long enough to have energy for the day.
...Alpha strolled out of her den quite easily and quietly, without waking another wolf. She was always first one up, last one asleep. Leaping onto the boulder, she threw her head back gently, for she was still light headed from getting up so fast, and let out a soft howl for the Pack to know to get up and start the morning jobs. And fast. Padding down from it, she looked at the Hunters that quickly awoke and ran off to start their morning jobs so the Pack would have food. Last night was a feast, but it still wasn't enough for every single pack-member. They all had to split their normal rations into two. But there was a little more than usual, thanks to the deaths from yesterday's battle. Aiano watched as the young pup she had cared for the other night tumbled out of the pups den. He was the oldest, and ready to be trained. But she worried. He was built like his mother. Sinewy, but bold, fierce, and as strong as a bear. He was not made for the Healer position. Eyes troubled as she thought, she did not notice as the young pup walked up to her to greet her. His large green eyes and pale, sand-colored pelt surprised her and it barreled into her. ..."Good morning, Alpha!" he squeaked. Smiling, Aiano looked down at the young pup. ..."Good morning, Kiaru," she nodded, smile still on her face. "I think... you are ready to be trained, Kiaru." ..."Please don't tell me as a Healer!" he whined. ..."Oh no, of course not. You shall be trained as a Guardian, just like your mother was," she said calmly, body posture easy-going. ...At mention of his mother, his face fell slightly. He had heard the news. But the excitement of being trained was clear on his face. "Oh! But who will train me? Will you?! Or Lorak?!" Kiaru animatedly asked. ..."At the moment I am unsure, but I will have my decision very soon, dear." With that she smiled to the pup and let the smile fall off her face as she turned away to find Lorak. She was sure he would be uneasy about the news.

Lorak awoke softly, the sound of his alpha's howl flittered across his dreams forcing him to become aware of the waking world. He yawned slightly before he was knocked in the shoulder by another guardian leaving the den. The wolf's silver legs stood out against the black fur that lead from his forehead down to his back. He glared with annoying yellow eyes at Lorak. "Watch where youre going freak," he snapped before he left the den with two cackling guardians at his side. Lorak snorted back, "Good morning to you too Reager." The half prince stood and rubbed his shoulder softly before a kind voice from behind him chimed, "Oh dont worry about him Lorak, you know he is just jealous that youre the alpha's personal guard. None of us have that honor." Lorak turned to face a pale gray she wolf with dark rings around her tail and a pink nose. The nose itself was a bit different than most wolves but then again, Lorak was used to different things. "Thank you Osuna," he said with a weary smile. Osuna stepped forward with gentle blue eyes before walking past him and out of the den. Lorak frowned for just a moment as he stepped out of the den and headed to where the alpha was. Certainly she would want to know where he was before starting out the day. In fact, they were going on a patrol later. Lorak grinned to himself as a light hearted tone lifted his heart.
Sighting Lorak, Aiano padded uneasily to him. Two things bothered her at the moment. One, was her paw-pad. It was swollen, but she wouldn't worry about that. Two, Lorak might not go on her patrol. Looking at him straight in the eyes, she said in a calm voice, "Lorak, in two rises of the sun, you shall take on a challenge I am sure you can handle." Pausing, she continued since he said nothing. "You shall train the young pup Kiaru in the ways of the Guardian. However, to be his mentor...," she trailed off quietly. But gained her voice once again as she looked him in the eyes. "In order for you to be his mentor, you will have to step down as my personal guard for the time being. This is your choice. I had two choices -- you or Reager. And quite frankly, Kiaru doesn't have very kind feelings towards Reager." Starting to turn away, she paused, and looked at him carefully, waiting for his response. "I do not need your reply now, Lorak. Personally, I would rather have you as my personal guard and by my side fighting than training Kiaru and acting as a babysitter. I know you'd rather fight."
ooc;; i am drawing a picture of the pack at the moment... but just wondering... anything in particular you would like your character to be doing? they're all gonna be lined up in a certain way, but any expression/pose you would like?

Lorak pulled back in surpised. His jaw dropped and left his speechless. The calm tone she used to dismiss his position made his heart ache for a moment. He knitted his brows and looked away. His first instinct was growl and throw a fit about it but that wouldnt do. His second instinct told him to refuse her offer and remain as her personal guard but even that left his mind. After a moment to compose himself and as Aiano was leaving he called out, "THere is no need to wait. You are my alpha and you know what is best. I will stand by your decision to train the pup." With that he turned from, not exactly wanting to look at her. He felt slightly betrayed but then again it really was her choice. She had plenty of guardians that would love to fight at her side and he selfishly kept it to himself. She needed a change of pace and perhaps this would be a good. Plus Kiaru needed a strone male figure in his life, especially now when his mother was dead and his father was no where to be seen.
OOC; Oh... I dunno... Perhaps giving Aiano a caring smile or just looking battle ready ^^ Whatever you think fits the picture would be great ;D

ooc;; all righty. :3 i'm making it kinda like a battle scene but it's a little more complex... so sounds good for me! would mind asking rustie about rin for me? :D if you could that would be awesome!
ic;; Aiano wouldn't say anything else but, "Thank you, Lorak." Her eyes showed a little hurt that he actually took the position to train the pup. Now by the time of two rises of the sun, she would have to find another personal guard. But his back was to her's, and her's was to his. The only wolf that actually watched the exchange was Kiaru and some other pups. But they didn't exactly understand the complex feelings that were going through their minds. She had stopped, and couldn't move. But regaining her posture, she held her head up and called over her shoulder, "If you don't want to go on the patrol... I understand." She barely had a voice as she said it, and her voice almost cracked, but it remained steady for how she was actually feeling. Aiano's eyes were almost dead. Not clouded, but dead. Who would she choose for her new personal guard?!

Lorak turned his ghostly eyes over his shoulder for only a moment as he murmured, "Thank you. I think i will take a post here in camp and find you a few guards that would best fit your needs." With that he loped away from her, his heart aching. He would need to find a brave wolf that had no doubt in their mind they they would be the one to die on the battlefield. If they were even the slightest bit of cowards they would not do at all. Lorak talked to the leader of the guards, a large golden brown wolf with white paws named Tajh. The large wolf's brown eyes turned in Lorak direction, lighting up with a friendly smile. "Hello there Lorak," he boomed. The leader of the guards always had a way of making Lorak feel better, perhaps it was that he didnt judge the half prince. Rather he treated him like all the others. If he messed up he was punished, if he succeeded he got a 'Good-job' and was sent on his way. "Listen," Lorak started, "The alpha has selected me for training a young pup by the name Kiaru." Tajh grinned warmly, "I know him, strong little scrap." Lorak nodded, "Yeah, but that means that I wont be able to guard her. I need a list of potential candidates to become her personal guard and out of them i hope that i can find at least one." Tajh frowned for a moment. The large golden brown wolf had been the one to assign Lorak to being the alpha's guard and now he had to help Lorak choose his replacement. It was strange that the personal guard would be selected to train but not unheard of. With a shrug of his shoulders Tajh agreed.
Aiano decided she had better go find the young pup to tell him that Lorak was to train him. Putting the best smile on her face as she could, she strolled up to Kiaru and said, "Congratulations. Lorak will be training you from now on!" In her mind, she continued with, Thanks for taking my best friend and best personal guard from me. "He's the best Guardian this Pack has -- pay good attention, okay? Be sure to learn well. And if you don't understand, be patient. I'm free to help you out, too." Her eyes were calm and blank as she spoke. She really hoped the training would go by fast, and she would have her best friend by her side again. And, this just really complicated whatever relationship was possible. She turned away from kiaru with a smile but when she faced her pack, all the weight of the world seemed to be upon her shoulders.
ooc;; mee-hee. <- thats my friends hyper laugh. xD anyways, i really like how this relationship is becoming really interesting... is it bad that i love to torture my character's love life's?

OOC: Not at all bud! Mwahaha! You saw what i did with poor Ivoryclaw! ;D In the story i actually made for him he has a mate but she is a rogue and they never really knew eachother on a personal level because of strange reason that would take a while to explain ^^" So its alright Mwahaha!
Lorak nodded everytime Tajh listed off a name, "Lets see, there is Lupe, Jango, Stone, Kiya and Osuna. I think those five would be the best bet to take your place." Lorak bristled for a moment. They werent taking his place! THey were just... well... standing in for a while. Lorak frowned as he turned away. "Thanks Tajh. See ya later," with that he loped off to find Aiano. He would tell her about the recruits and would help interview them and their skills to help defend her. His heart pounded again with its ache to be at her side fighting.
ooc;; it's not mean... its.. uh... being creative. lulz.
ic;; Seeing Lorak, her spirits lifted up slightly, but then she remembered his decision and her heart sank once more. "Lorak, have you decided the possible replacements?" she asked in a calm voice. Her body and eyes gave no sign of her being depressed or rather confused about his choice. And as she looked at him, her heart had an achey feeling inside of it, and she really wanted him to stay by her side as a guard... Or maybe more? She couldn't tell, but just the fact he would be training the pup instead of being with her made her slightly angry and overall sad. But... Then again, if she told Lorak to stay as her personal guard, she would be selfish, taking away Kiaru's chances of being as great of a Guardian and he is.
