"That's alright. Well, I know what to expect from people since I've experienced a lot, and I think that from the look in your eyes, you want to know what happened in the accident. I'm good at reading others faces. So, would you like me to tell you?"he asked. Simon really was good at reading peoples faces, finding their emotions. But he just couldn't help explaining it. "When do you think the round ups'l start? I can't take all this waiting." Simon absentmindedly asked Rooke.
Rooke shrugged. "There should be enough time for you to tell me. So, what happened?" he asked. It was cool that Simon could read faces. He wished he could. But he had his talent. Understanding animals. It was weird, but he could. He stroked Storm Stallion's mane. He had to rush the horses when he got home. The boy groaned and kicked the stirrups off of his feet and let them dangle. He dropped his hands so they hung at the horse's neck. It was going to be a long day.

"Well, back then, I had a sister. Her name was Aniala. She loved to explore and draw, and she loved to be around animals. But one day, she ran too far into the forest. She got lost and was screaming. It sounded like something was trying to kill her. We ran as fast as we could. I made it there first with my rifle. A creature was standing over her and she lay on the ground, dead. She had this terrified look in her eyes, like the creature had tried to rip her throat out. I fired at it three times, but it jumped out of the way and vanished."Simon explained. His eyes grew shallow as he remembered the event. He hadn't been able to do anything for his little sister back then. He wished he could have killed the beast.
"Sorry if that was a long explanation. Don't like to frighten folks."he told Rooke.Stark had wandered over to them and was standing next to Simon. "By the way, this is Stark. He seems to like you."Simon said. Stark looked at Rooke like he wanted to do something to say hi. But he ended up sneezing on Simon."Guess he just got a bit overexcited."Simon laughed.
Hmm, interesting plot :3 I just wanna get into RPing again XD

Personality- Bubbly and always glad to do anything, she can be overprotective when it comes to her friends, she's always there to count on. She does have a bad side though, if you touch a subject she doesnt wanna talk about, she snap on you until you drop it. Ic: Rooke almost felt tears in his eyes when Simon told the story. What could that thing have been? He shook the thought away. He shook Storm Stallion's reigns and stood in the stirrups. He couldn't see anyone waving arms, telling the rest of the group to come forward. He saw them looking though. He sat back down. He couldn't believe what happened to Simon's sister. He looked at his friend. "I'm s-so sorry," he stammered.

"It's alright. I just wish I could have helped her though..."Simon said."I'm glad to at least have let that out. Its been buggin' me for a bit. Don't worry about it though. At least she had a happy life...ah I miss her.."Simon tried to tell Rooke. He didn't like it when people felt negative. "I'm glad to have had her for a sister. Her face was always happy."he said, fishing out a picture. Her beautiful blond hair spilled out into a flow of gold in the sunlight, and she had flawless skin. Her beautiful green eyes sparkled. "That's her. she loved to be around me an' Stark."he told Rooke.
Rooke smiled at the picture. "She's pretty," he said. "You're lucky." He turned to the front of the crowd and saw more people arriving. "It should start soon," he mumbled, and sure enough, someone that looked important stood on the stirrups and called out. "Okay, here we go!" he shouted, and turned and started riding forward. Rooke turned to Simon. He was so excited. He began to ride, pacing his horse so that he was behind his dad and next to Simon. "Isn't this exciting?" he asked, feeling like he was about to explode. His father turned around and a look of alarm came over his face. Then, it softened and he beckoned to his son. Rooke nodded at Simon, and trotted to catch up with his father. "You've found a friend, haven't you Rooke?" he asked. The boy nodded, and the man ruffled his hair.

Simon went and saddled up with Stark, when suddenly his parents came forward. "Son, listen, I and your mother can't be here. Something's happening at home, so we decided that you're old enough to be on your own. We know you've made friends with that family, so give them our thanks."His father told him. They dissapeared off towards the house. Simon and Stark galloped over to Rooke and his family."Would you mind if I went with ya'll? My parents have to go home cause somethin' came up." he explained. Stark gently came to a slow trot as he caught up with Rooke.
Rooke's father turned to Simon. He looked like he was concentrating really hard. "I suppose, but if you don't think you can do anything, don't get in the way of the people chasing the deer, got it?" he asked. Rooke nodded. He looked forward. He listened intently to the soft thudding of hooves on the ground, and smiled. He was happy. Maybe this dark wall that covered his soul might break, and his real self would shine through. He knew that it would. This was the world. How it really was. With roundups and nice people that want to be your friend. The world was a friendly place, so he thought.

"Yes sir." Simon replied. He listened carefully, and Stark noislessly plodded after the others. His rifle was carefully put to his side. Stark watched the tree the land scape the other horses... he knew what he was doing. He pricked his ears at each sound and each crack of a twig, carefull to move silently. Simon gently stroked his mane as they followed. The horse felt tense
