Luna imediatly started helping. She sank her teeth into the boad and kept stepping back and pulling. with all her strength. She tried as hard as she could. "Urrrrrr!" She said, pulling. "We got tofis fing off of ah hewr" She said, with her mouth full of the board.

Therron pulled harder now, his sisters helping, and the board moved a foot. Not that far now. He yanked again. And with one final jerk.... WHAM! Therron knocked against the ground. Dust flew everywhere, and his mother stood. The board was off her now. Therron scrambled to his feet and shook dust from his pelt. "We did it!" he howled with triumph.

Shimoru looked away from her mother. She didn't feel that her mother waanted her there. Her parents hadn't really liked her, so why should she spoil the reunion? She started to walk away, her purple eyes darkening. She may have saved her mother with her siblings, but that didn't change anything.She looked around and found their father in a heap of rubble. She quickly dug him out and took him to the rest. His floppy ears were soaked with blood.

She let him stand with the rest of them. They looked a like a perfect family. But the picture didn't show her in it.

Her father looked at her with wary eyes. "I guess that even though you look like a wolf, you were able to do something."He weakly grinned at the rest of them. Shimoru looked away, her eyes darkening yet again. She started to walk away, sure that this was how it was going to be. Mabe she could find a better place to live. Her family just didn't need her. They all had floppy ears and thin tails, whilst she had pointy ears and a bushy tail. She did look like a wolf.

Her father and mother looked at eachother, and explained what had happened. "The farmer was depressed about leaving you three, and dropped a cigerete he'd been smokin'. The entire place was set on fire, and the farmer and his wife ran. All the other animals are dead."her father explained in a pained voice. Shimoru looked back at him, her eyes darkening even more.

Shimoru turned away from them again, this time not looking back. She streaked off, faster than even her sister could go, and went back throught the feilds. They were burned to the ground, and the fire was continueing. It was eating away at the last of the farmer's house. Shimoru didn't look back. SHe ran past the feilds, and back into wolf territory. She wasn't going to let her parents just mock her like they had when she had been with them. The thought of her siblings living happily with her parents was still in her mind. Her parents hadn't liked her, so there was no reason for her to stay.She stopped near an abandoned fox burrow and hid in it.

Therron was thrilled to see his father, but depressed by the news about what had happened. He nestled deep into his father's chest, and he licked the pup. "I thought I'd never see you again," he whispered, tears of joy in his eyes.
"But didn't you hear me call you?" the dog asked.
"Of course I did. And I always will listen. That's why I came back here. To look after Luna," he said, looking at his sister. He didn't care if she was mad at him about his father. He did love them. That's why he trained his son. He did it to protect them. He wished there was a way to express that to Luna without her ending up hating him.

Shimoru thought back to the farm. Her brother and sister were sill there. asn't complete. She had to find a new home for them. After a while, she came back to the barn. SHe walked up to the others. She looked from father to mother, to sister to brother. "We need to find a new home. Lets go before this place caves in."she told them.

Therron looked at Shimoru. Then to his father. "We know," he said. "But where?"

Luna saw her father. She left. She didn't care for him. It was all his fault. If he wouldn't have left, they'd all know how to do that stuff, they'd all be unhurt. And Luna wouldn't have disappeared without a trace.
