ooc: Yeah, kataners is right, we're kinda getting off topic. Okay, but seriously, if you want me to fly over, okay.

ic: Konoka let him sleep, taking her child with her. She saw two shapes approaching in the distance. They were Mist and Darton. She flew over to them, gently holding her little oone. They seemed to have just gotten out of a cloud. She caught up to them, her large black wings swooping in and out. Her red eyes gave a flash of surprise as she looked at Mist. What was she doing way out here? And was that why Darton had been gone for so long? He could have at least mentioned that he was looking for Mist. HSe would have helped him. Her little one had woken up and climbed onto her back, wary of their hight. It laughed when it saw Darton. "Daddy!" she called. Konoka gaave a small chuckle, which faded into a sigh. "So... are we still leaving for the mountain?"she asked. They had been delayed for a while.

Darton smiled at Konoka, but tried not to meet eyes with his daughter. He then looked to Mist. "Yes, we'll leave as soon as possible," he said, and nudged Konoka. He didn't love her, but they were friends. He swooped down toward the ground and landed next to his cave. He sighed deeply. He remembered his connection to this place that no other had. He would never see his home again. He felt tears coming, but he fought them back. He was supposed to be helping Mist, not putting more on for her to deal with. He turned to them. "I'm ready when you are."

With the hatchling on her back, Konoka landed a few feet away, understanding. Darton knew that they were just friend, and nothing more. Good. That way things were cleared up. She saw Darton fighting back tears of home wishing. He would greatly miss this place, and she knew nothing other than that. That was all she needed to know. "All righty... I'll go get Draga."Konoka said. She went into her den to find him sleepng. She gently nudged his side, waking him up. "TIme to go. It's time to say farewell to our home."Konoka said.

Darton nodded at Konoka and then turned around. His den was empty. Good. Another family could live there. He sighed and stared into the darkness. He thought about Treynar, and how he had become something much more than just of a dragon. He smiled a bit, and then turned the stone that hung around his neck over and over again in his palms. It was sooty gray, just like him. It really did mean him, didn't it?

Konoka was still having a bit of trouble waking Draga up, but managed it. She lead him over to the others. She couldn't see Sunrise or Star struck, until Sunrise lead them out of her den. They looked like they had been having a long talk. "Sunrise, are you still comeing?" Konoka asked. "Yeah, I am. Starstruck and I were just getting some things."She answered sheeepishly. Konoka hugged her. She knew her friend would miss this place dearly. Her little on was climbing onto Darton's back, and he hadn't noticed it. "Daddy?"she asked him. Starstruck and Sunrise stood together. Sunrise let out a sigh. "Guess it's time to haul our butts out huh?"she asked.

Then he whent around saying bye to evry one then went to his faveret spot. It was a small clif coverd in soft green grass with the salty water pounding on the rocks below. The view was fantastic the birds flying around and the sun highlighting evry thing."i'm sure going to miss this spot but one day ill come back." he turnd around and meet up with all the others who were going.

Konoka gave a slow and meaningfull nod to Draga. He too would miss this place...even if he didn't want to show it. She satred at the place that they were leaving, and would no longer call home. Large and hot tears rolled down her black cheeks, her red eyes growing distant. SHe had been raised here. Her mother had died here. Would she ever see this place again? No. They would not return to this crumbling world. It was too late to try and fix it. Her tears remained a stain upon her face. "I need to just make a quick...visit."she said. SHe walked into the cooling shelter of the trees, what was left of their forest. The withered parts seemed distant as she traveled further. The little one was still with Darton. That was okay. She needed to do this alone. "I've at least got to say good bye...to my mother...in her grave."Konoka silently thought. She would go to the hollow grounds that her mother's bones rested in, to give her farewells. She would miss her mother's grave dearly. It was one of the things that held memory of her.

Darton smiled as Konoka left. "Take care!" he called, then reeled back in surprise. He didn't love her, so why was he acting like her mate? He shook the thoughts away, and thought of his memories. His mother calling upon the spirits, his father on the biggest rock in the place, the thick jungles filled with fresh water and prey that were once here, everything. All that his parents had made happen right in front of him. "Maybe it was meant to be," he whispered to himself, and felt a tear roll down his cheek.

Konoka arrived at her mother's grave shortly, a stone marking the spot. It was a real jewel, not an egg. She sat in silence, praying to her mother. "Mother...please stay with this land though it may crumble. Come with us when it is gone. I love you...good bye....mother..."She whispered aloud, her prayer said. Tears rolling down her cheeks, she let them come as if a roar of never ending sorrow had been let out. She had never realized how much she would miss this place. With a heavy sigh of regret, she lay on lat claw on her mother's stone. She bid farewell, and walked away, never to see it again.

After a while, she came to the others. Her face was stained with tears, and she felt weak from crying. SHe sat next to them, aware of what she would now have to say her good byes to. SHe took one last fleeting look at her den, every memory flashing through her mind. But she could not say a word, no great sentence, no utter of tears spilling out. WHen someone told their story, they would simply say"And they left." there would be no special moment of trueth. This was it.
