Cloudandis swung the cure around her neck and charged after Rach, watching him kill Kanrik. She looked back at Come and the others. What were they doing?! Was this how it was to end?! If Rach killed Kanrik, the Pack could choose an even worse leader! She knew Cromes plan now. He had planned to kill Kanrik to become Alpha and stop this blood bath. She ran up to rach."Rach, it can't end like this. Crome must do it, or an even worse leader could emerge." she whispered.

It was too late. Kanrik fell motionless from Rach's jaws. "I couldn't help it," was all he could say, and slapped a sinner away. Tears welled in his eyes. "I didn't know....." The wolf fell to the ground, using his strong wings to break the necks of Sinners who tried to get at him. "I didn't know..." he repeated, looking somewhere distant. "Maybe that will set them straight," he suggested, looking back up at his beta.

Cloudandis looked at him with her calm look."Yeah, maybe. But we must establish that Crome is the leader." Cloudandis said. She looked at the fearfull sinnes, and walked up to Crome. Crome, you will be the Sinner Alpha, understand?" she stated. She turned to the other wolves, who had shocked looks. "UNDERSTAND?" she boomed out to them in a comanding voice. "No, and I don't want to follow him. I will be the pack leader! I was the pack Beta!" Kylie protested.

Rach raced up to Cloudandis. "He has to do something to prove his loyalty. He has to- He has to-" Rach didn't want to finish the sentence. It wasn't real. This wasn't real! "He has to kill me," Rach whispered to Crome and Cloudandis. He stared at his paws. He looked up at Crome. "Whenever you're ready, I know this is my time to go, loyally, to protect my pack," he stated.

Cloudandis looked at Rach. Her eyes were getting hot. She was doing something she had never done before. Tears fell from her usually blank eyes which were now alight with distain and anguish. She also did another thing she had never done before,"NO! Rach, there is another way! There has to be...." she whispered, her voice crying out. She didn't want Rach to die. He couldn't........"Rach, please......I beg you...don't do this.."

"There is no other way," he whispered into Cloudandis's ear, licking it softly. "Please, promise me one thing. When I am killed, lead the Angelics well. You will be rewarded, as I have," he pleaded. He had never seen his beta cry. He had never seen her express any emotion at all. "One more thing," he continued. He leaned very close. "Cloudy, you are the one that brings me home. I-I...." Rach couldn't say it. He couldn't tell her how he felt about her. He had to. Or she would never know. "Cloudy, I love you."

CLoudandis cried harder, more tears coming to stain her face. "I've never been able to tell you how I've felt either....and now it's too late to let you kno just how much..." she whispered. "I can't lead them like you can...I love you too." she replied. She didn't lie to him. SHe wished there was more she could do...and yet...there was nothing more. She couldn't just watch him die when he had nearly saved them. She couldn't.

Rach looked at his paws, and then to Crome. "Your call. The sooner the better," he said, tears streaming from his eyes. He didn't know if he could do this. He turned to the sinners. Maybe he could prevent this, but he knew there was no getting out of it. "Crome's your new leader. It's that, of you're out of his pack!" he snarled, but his voice was tinged with sadness.

THe sinners looked at Crome Rach and Cloudandis. They had never witnessed something like this before. Never once had they witnessed someone aring like that. Several Sinners stepped forewards, in fact, nearly all of them did, except for five or six of them. They came forewards and kneeled before Crome."We will accept you as our leader, ever if those six don't." they said. The six taunted them."How boring. We'll go and start our own if you don't mind." and ran off, the rest of the Sinners standing before Crome with respect. If he could cause even Cloudandis to feel emotion, that was good enough for them. CLoudandis looked at them with shock in her eyes. She looked back at Rach.What would he do?
