The morning sun touched the dark-clouded sky. The dawn was frigid and wet. Fireleaf's paws gently rubbed again the moist ground. His eyes focused on the sky, as a single snow flake touched his nose. "Back to snow and blizzards." He sighed. He never really liked when it became winter. It was always quiet hard to get prey for the clan. Though, winter does help them become stronger, and learn how to survive well. Fireleaf blinked, and sat, in the middle of camp.

Tigerpaw slept soundly on her small moss bed when a small cold droplet fell upon her nose. She was startled away at the sudden cold object that she jumped up in suprise. Her ice blue eyes were wide as she tried to find the source of what had startled her. Yet there was no agressor. In fact she her a small snickering behind her. A tall, thin silver tom with a white mask, paws and tail tip was trying to stiffle his laughter from his own moss bed.
"You're mighty jumpy today Tigerpaw," he laughed, his pale green eyes dancing with laughter. Tigerpaw frowned at him, just a playful light touched her eyes.
"Oh yeah? I bet you dont have enough courage to back up those fighting words Ghostpaw," the she cat crouched down and wiggled her haunches. The silver tom's eyes lit up as well. He sprang from the moss bed and launched himself at Tigerpaw. The two collided and rolled back out of the den. A pile of brown and silver fur was seen tumbling away from the apprentice den, just as it usually did in the morning. Tigerpaw swatted Ghostpaw away with clear and innocent laughter. "Come on you big furball, mama and papa wouldnt be to happy if they saw us fooling around like this."
Ghostpaw was on the floor trying to stiffle his own laughter. Yet when Tigerpaw mentioned their parents he drew deathly quite. He took a moment to whisper, "I know Tigerpaw..." The she cat frowned at her brother softly.
"Its not that bad Ghostpaw. Mama and papa would be proud of us, they just wouldnt like us startling every piece of prey from here to Fourtrees so early in the morning," She grinned trying to lighten her brother's mood. Yet the tom only stood and trotted away to join Featherstorm, his mentor. Tigerpaw sighed heavily and awaited her own to join her.
