Luke turned toward Tigerpaw with a smile on his face, "Yes actually i do remember them." He couldnt help but laugh even though Hawkpaw couldnt understand why. "For a time," he continued, "Ghostfur was my rival when it came to Duskfeather here. But in the end he found his true love and i finally realized mine." Gently he pressed his lips to the top of the she cat's head in his arms. Hawkpaw sneered sarcastically at the pair.
A deep rumble sounded from the entrance to the alley and fear gripped Hawkpaw. A very, very long two leg monster appeared but didnt enter the alley. "If you would please come this way," Luke said stepping toward the monster. He opened up its belly by placing his hand on its side and pulled. Hawkpaw wanted to heave by he bravely stepped forward. "Just hop inside. It doesnt hurt. I promise."

Ooc: Is anyone thinking mafia man, what with the purring cat and business suit? xD;;

Ic: "Sounds exciting!" Sparrowpaw replied excitedly, still holding onto the dumpster. She finally glanced down, confused at the shape of her body but recognizing it as a female Twoleg's. She wore a strange arrangement of rags, but it wasn't at all uncomfortable. "Wait, you said it doesn't hurt Twolegs...but then how does Duskfeather get around? Wouldn't it eat her?" She tilted her head to the side, confused.

Duskfeather almost burst out laughing, as a grin slipped onto her face. "Monsters like me when I'm with Luke, and Luke's friends too. They won't hurt me."

OOC; Its cause Luke is smexy that way ;D Just kidding! XD

Luke couldnt stiffle a laugh at Sparrowpaw's question. Even though he hasnt head Duskfeather's reply he could almost imagine what she would have said. Tentevily Hawkpaw entered the monster to find the inside not at all like he expected. Light bordered to the top of the inside and plush leather bedding lined the inside. THe lights were low and the places to look out side were tinted dark, as if staring through someone elses eyes. Hawkpaw gulped as he inched inside, sniffing the air. THe scents in the body were sharp or easy to detect. Infact he felt as if the whole world had lost color. A frown appeared on his face as he scooted toward the empty parts in the front.

Tigerpaw stared at Luke, not moving. "Ghostfur. Liked. Duskfeather?" he muttered. "No way." His head was spinning. He was dizzy. He didn't want to go into the monster, but he wanted to know more about Luke and his grandparents, so he followed after his friends and climbed into the monster as it roared to life, startling him. It actually wasn't as bad as he thought it would be, though he preferred to walk. The lights were bright and loud noise came on, blasting his ears. "What is that thing?" TIgerpaw yowled.

Ooc: He is indeed! XD

Ic: Sparrowpaw edged in as quick as she could - the whole walking thing was quite challenging - and as soon as she was in her eyes widened with awe. "It's so soft..." she murmured, patting the seat-like-thing, and plopping down on it. "How...this is softer than moss!"

Duskfeather purred in amusement as she settled in Luke's arms, her head rubbing against his arm in the only way that she could tell him that she loved him.

Luke laughed at Tigerpaw's suprise, "Its called music." The man leaned forward and tapped a black glass wall. It came down, much to Hawkpaw's surpise, and behind it appeared a man wearing a cap upon his head and holding a thing round object that was attached to the monster's inside. "Jerry, could you please turn the music off. My guests here... well they're not used to it." THe man in the front just shrugged and faced foward again. The glass wall reappeared and the music stopped.
Now with a moments peace, Hawkpaw turned his attention to the seat he was sitting on. It most certainly was softer than any bed he had slept on. A smile crossed his face dispite himself. The rest of the group of apprentice clambered in to the monster. Within moments of the belly's well closing the monster began to move. Hawkpaw's heart pounded and he desperately grabbed the seat. He stared outside as the world began to move. "What's happening?" he whispered wth fear.
Luke just laughed and patted Duskfeather's head. "We are moving. The monster is taking us to my den. Think of it as a piggy back ride from your mentor or an older warrior."

Duskfeather mrrowed in amusement at the example given, leaning into Luke's soft, gentle touch. Sure, life wasn't perfect, and she could have gone back to be a human with Luke, but this worked almost nearly as well. Besides, she still knew how to type, and had thus been able to 'chat' with Luke using Word documents, a most fun way of confusing Luke's colleagues.

Sparrowpaw clutched the seat in awe, surprised at how unsurprised Duskfeather seemed by the whole Twoleg world, as well as Runningcloud. Indeed, if she had to imagine, she would say that Runningcloud looked like he belonged here, like he was well off compared to the other Twolegs, who she had never seen wearing such dark, form-fitting rags.

Luke waited for a while as amazment passed amongst the apprentices. When they had calmed a bit he spoke, "Listen, if you are going to stay here in this world for a while there are some things you are going to need to know. The most important of these things is word use. If you are constantly calling other people two legs they will think you are crazy. The proper term for what you are is called a human. You have been turned in to humans. As it is you arent apprentices anymore."
Hawkpaw bristled at this, "Yes we are! We were really close to become warriors to!"
Luke lifted his hand to silence the boy. "In our world you would be called kids, children, teenagers or students. Depending on a few things that is." Hawkpaw's head reeled from the multiple names that they could be called.
"Also, we need to change your names," he mused to himself.
"No way!" Hawkpaw growled, "Im proud of my name! Im never going to change it!"
Luke lifted his brow, "Not even if you had the chance to become a warrior? You would want to be Hawkpaw your whole life?" Hawkpaw's face burned with embarresment and his cheeks turned red. It wasnt something any cat would be used to seeing. "Okay, I will continue to teach your words when we get back to my den. Oh, that reminds me. In our world we call dens houses. We call nests beds, just so you know."
Hawkpaw scratched his head in frustration with his human paw. He had to admit it was easier to scratch with teh spindly digits compared to a paw.
The two monster continued on its way through human territory until it came to a large gated area. Beyond the completely white gate was nothing but forest and fields. A portion of the gate opened and the monster entered. Hawkpaw pressed his face against the window glass to see. The monster rolled down a dirt path until they came to an enormous two leg den. There were so many glass windows on the large structure it was hard to tell how many there really were. The monster stopped and Luke stepped out side of the belly. "Come on then, take your time though."

Sparrowpaw gently stepped out, still getting used to the whole balance-without-a-tail thing. "Wooah. This...this is your...territory? It's so big! And your...house, it's huge too! I don't think I've ever seen any Two - human place that big! How do you not get lost? It's bigger than the ThunderClan camp!" She stared in amazement, staring around in wonder.

Luke laughed softly to himself, "You'd be suprised at what you can remember. Plus, when you are bigger, having a bigger territory is a good thing." With that Luke stepped toward the house with Duskfeather secure in his arm. Hawkpaw managed to stumble his way after Sparrowpaw. He sent her an unsure glance but managed to follow Luke inside the house. There was no dirt, grass or anything resembling the outside world in the house. It made Hawkpaw freeze. Yet Luke continued on down a short hallway that was rather wide. It opened up in to a spacious room with a crystal chandellere(dont care fo spelling ^^"). At the end of the room was a large staircase the led higher in to the house. Hawkpaw entered in to the spacious room but huddled close to the others in the middle of it. "Now, lets get you guys something to eat eh?"
Finally, something Hawkpaw was pretty good at, "Do you have a fresh-kill pile around here? I cant smell it... Oh! You want to organize a hunting patrol huh? With all that territory out there you must a ton of prey." Luke just stared at Hawkpaw with wide eyes before he threw his head back and roared with laughter. Hawkpaw felt his blush come back as he glared at the man with indignation.
