"Hey, look at this!" a tiny voice mewed looking out the entrace to the barn. "The water's gone!" it said. Speckledkit was bouncing around with Carwyn as they both looked out at the now muddy ground. She had a knowing look in her eyes as she saw Phantomstep and Inkstar.

Inkstar looked over at the two kits in disbelief. Walking over there she looked out and saw that the water was gone but hte ground was muddy. "Well," she said turning to her clan "Since the water is gone we will be leaving in ten minutes."

Phantomstep looked up and flicked his tail to Sunkit so she could follow. He walked over to the kits and looked out. "Hmm i thought it wouldnt dry up until tomorrow maybe." The deputy nodded in approval then turned to Inkstar. "Should we pack up and get ready then?" He felt Sunkit next to him wanting to give orders right away.

Ravenpaw heard this and started to panic a bit. WHere was Starpaw?! She started racing around the barn and into the hay lofts and the attic. No sing of him anywhere. She looked around and remembered the river. "Be right back!" she mewed. SHe raced out of the barn through the muddy ground and started for the river bank. "Where was he, sleeping in the rain?!" she muttered.

Riverdance purred with happiness when Speckledkit's tiny voice informed the whole of SkyClan that the flood was gone. They were able to travel once again. She, herself, was able to travel the land and let her paws fly. She could feel the winds through her pelt. All that made her jumpy and happy.

"We're leaving in 10 minutes, you say?" Riverdance asked Inkstar. For if so, she could catch some mice for the clan so they could get powered up for the long journey. And to say good-bye to Stenny. He's been a nice guy and, letting them sleep in his barn, Riverdance thought he deserved a good farewell.

ic: Ravenpaw sat at the edge of the river with her face looking forlorn and crestfallen. What had happened to Starpaw? She hadn't been able to find him anywhere. "Maybe I shouldn't have pushed him away so much...." she muttered. Had he left the clan? Or was he just fed up with it all? SHe looked aorund but couldn't find a trace of him anywhere. She crouched over the riverbank and just stared at the rushing water. What if he'd drowned? She started to search the waters edge. If she had to, she'd jump in to find him.

Phantomstep watched as Sunkit raced off to the warriors. Laughing he followed her and decided that packing up would be a good idea. Catching up to the kit he looked at the warriors and nodded to Sunkit for her to give orders. The kit brightened and stood up nice and tall. "We're leaving in 10 minutes so fix the nests up and hunt before we go." She purred and looked up at the deputy. Phantomstep nodded in approval and flicked his tail for the warriors to follow the kits command. "Good job. I better watch it you might take my job within a few moons." he laughed and stood up. "Make sure they follow your orders ok?" Sunkit nodded and watched the warriors as Phantomstep went back and sat by Carwyn.

Tinyit padded up to Carwyn. "Hi." She mewed, her eyes filled with excited sparks from watching Spottedrose.
