Ooc: Alrighty, I'm just going to make that alpha an NPC named Roan. As his name states, he'll be a gray roan wolf. So, we can start now. We'll start just an hour before the humans begin bulldozing I suppose, just to add to the appeal. (maybe...)

Ic: Guntur looked around. He had just finished a hunting party and was very tired. He walked over to the cave where most of the wolves slept. He didn't think he could sleep though. While hunting, he had seen human things on the edge of their territory, and they were huge. They looked like they could do a lot of damage. He sighed, deciding that sleep was useless.

OOC: What time of day is it right now?


IC: Dempsey opened one of his eyes seeing Guntur at the entrance of the cave. Yawning he stretched his front legs and gave a whine of content. Getting up he shook his pelt and looked at the wolves in the cave before walking to Gunter and nodding in greeting. "Hey Guntur. You ok? You seem alittle uneasy."

Starcross, seeing that Guntur was back from a hunting patrol, got up and walked to him. She licked his ear and purred. "Hi, Guntur," she said. Seeing the look on his face, she instantly turned to him, serious. "Guntur, what wrong?" she asked, fearful. If must be something about the pack. If they were in danger, she would fight tooth and claw to protect them.

Ooc: Probably sometime in the morning is when I placed it.

Ic: Guntur looked over at Dempsey. "I'm okay," he said. Really, he knew that he had to tell Roan what he had seen. His tail waved. His eyes held worry for his pack. Then, Starcross walked up to him. He smiled softly. "Everything's fine, I just have to talk to Roan," he said.  He turned away from Dempsey and Starcross and walked away from the pack's cave to the den where the Alpha slept in a different den. He had a horrible feeling. Humans had always brought disaster. Now, they were just outisde their territory, waiting to strike...

OOC: Wolves purr? XD

IC: Dempsey saw Starcross wake and walk to Guntur. He nodded to the female and watched Guntur leave. Shrugging the wolf walked out the den and sniffed the morning air. He looked the smell of the fresh air and grass around them. He couldnt imagine a time where he wouldnt see the dens or grass everywhere and animals running wild in the forest. Sitting outside the den he watched the sky.

Guntur stood in the entrance of Roan's den. He saw the Alpha look up at him, amber eyes tired. "Can I do something for you?" he asked groggily. Guntur lowered his head in a sign of respect. "I saw some strange human things on the edge of our territory when I was out hunting." Roan stood and growled.
"What were they?" he demanded.
"They were things that humans ride in, and they were huge. They weren't moving though." Roan snarled.
"Why didn't you tell me earlier?" he snapped. He raced out of his den. "I must talk to you, wolves of Enigma!" he howled. Wolves began coming from the den.

ooc] haha idk. my dog purrs though. haha. it's more like.. a rumble in the throat. x)

ic] Starcross, feeling a bit upset, shrugged the feeling off and sighed, waiting for Guntur. Perhaps it was his duty to tell Roan first. She shouldn't take it seriously. If it was his time to tell her, it was his time. But the clan would always come first ; as she says.
She padded to her den to lay down, and rested her head on her paws. She was in perfect angle of Roan's den, so she could see whenever Guntur came out.

When Starcross heard Roan's meeting call, she knew something was up. And it was definitely Guntur's news. She padded outside and sat down a few lengths behind where Roan would say the news. Her tail was shaking. What if there was terrible danger, danger that even the strongest pack of wolves couldn't prevent?

Guntur rushed out of the den after Roan. He saw Starcross near where Roan would be speaking. He walked over to her and sat down at her side. He leaned over. "I saw human things just outside of our territory," he whispered. He felt it was right to tell her now. More wolves emerged from the den. Guntur watched them pass, but couldn't help but wonder what the pack would do.

OOC: When my dog makes a rumble in her throat its either a growl or she's about to throw up XD

IC: Dempsey looked down to see Roan come out of his den and howl. "Geez, what's so important that he has to make my ears fall off" Dempsey rolled his eyes and walked alittle closer to where some of the wolves crowded. Looking at the alfa he kept his attention on his face.

Roan stood tall and proud at the front of the pack. It seemed they were all there, but if they weren't only a few were gone. "Wolves," he began, voice deep and full of warning. "My beta has spotted some human things, huge ones, outside of our territory this morning. I worry for our pack's safety. We need to take special action to guard that side of the territory," he said. Some howls and growls came from the pack.
"That's not enough! We need to drive them away!" one wolf shouted.
