An Apprentices Day

Snug inside a nice warm den

Dawn patrols just left

Don't want there to be a prey theft

Wake up stretch and yawn

Mentor calls to me

A whole new day of learning

Something fun I am yearning

It will be like that for many moons on

Cleaning out the elders den

Battle training, hunting too

Doing things apprentices should do

Some fun yet some lame

Staring at the stars of silverpelt

Cats of long ago

Be good to them and so...
