As Clliffheart padded through the forest, he, too, was thinking of what he would do when he arrived at the TigerClan camp. He'd need to seem convincing and confident, but at the same time, he'd need to pretend he hated LionClan. That would be tough, but he could do it, as long as it was for the best. The tom looked over his patrol. Nightfang and Bearfur were talking with Thunderstep, (well, Bearfur was, at least), and Wolfheart and Darkwhisker seemed to be thinking hard. He took a deep breath and padded over to the medicine cat apprentice. "Look, I know you're nervous, we all are, so I was just wondering if you need any help with creating a prophecy?" he suggested.

Darkwhisker looked up to Cliffheart in surprise, then softened her gaze so she didn't look like an owl. "Well I was thinking about what exactly to convince TigerClan to let us stay, and also not be weary of us." She mewed. If they had talked about blood, about conquering, maybe, just maybe... She had gone off into her thoughts, ignoring all else around her. Sudenly she opened her eyes again and purred with delight. She glanced back to Cliffheart. "I think I may know a good false prophecu. And if it doesn't work, at least we made it that far." She chuckled, hiding her great fear. Starclan help us... Her thoughts grim.
Cliffheart nodded and smiled at Darkwhisker. He trusted her. She was a smart cat. With a respectful flick of his tail, he padded off to walk by himself. He tried to think about failure, but that thought was whirling around his head like a tornado. It couldn't be ignored. If they screwed up, they might all be killed. If TigerClan didn't believe them, they might all be killed. This might all end darkly for the patrol. He looked back at Thunderstep. He was almost certain that the old TigerClan warrior wasn't going to survive, which was why Cliffheart didn't talk to him. With a sigh, Cliffheart turned his head forward.

Finnaly Wolfheart reached the heart of camp. She causluly walk by. Finally reaching the leaders den she padded in. "Why hello there." she started. "I have come too talk. This was has been going on too long and I am here too talk about this. The clans would completely thrive if we had no wars with eachother and-" she said knowing how there were myths of TigerClan loving the thought of power. "If we didn't fight imagine how powerful we would be. Dogs would cower in fear. We could practicly have them working as slaves. And if we were allies no more cats would die in clan against clan battles. There would be no more. It would be all over."

OOC: Woah, hold on a sec Woodfall! None of us are at the camp yet. In fact we only just started out going there. It doesn't take a few minutes to travel nearly two or three miles, especially if you are a small four legged animal travel with at least six others. I said that our characters would be there by the next morning. In role-play time its barely been more than an hour. Pull back on the throttle bud ;D PLus, let the medicine cat and our patrol leader take care of the negotiations. Hornetstar wouldn't be to happy if you just randomly showed up in their camp and started talking to their leader. PLus I don't think Tigerclan warriors would have just let you waltz on in and have a chat. So we are gonna pretend that you are still with us M'kay?
Thunderstep and the patrol moved on through the territory, over the moors and heading for Tigerclan. The sun rose higher in the sky and began to wane. Each member began to grow hungry with the day now being spent. The golden brown tom turned to Cliffheart and nodded, "I think here is fine enough. If we hunt and rest we should be ready for anything. They are probably going to be hostile when we arrive so don't expect a warm welcome. He then turned to Darkwhisker, "Do you have any idea what you are going to say to them? Darkstar might listen to you for a moment. It would be best to speak quickly and straight to the point." He turned to the rest of the group and saw them move away to start hunting or to make beds for everyone.
Cliffheart had begun to drag his paws when Thunderstep suggested they stop and rest. The chocolate tom nodded and scented the air. "I'll go hunt," he said. He parted his jaws slightly and caught the scent of rabbit. Perfect, he thought, and his mouth began to water slightly. He began to stalk toward the rabbit, walking steadily and quietly. At last, he found the rabbit feeding on some sort of grass. Cliffheart grinned, set himself up, and leaped landing square on top of the rabbit. He was just slightly too slow, and the rabbit shot out of his way. The warrior jumped and prepared to give chase, but he felt his paws fall on the rabbit's shoulders. He swooped in and nipped the back of the prey's neck, killing it. Panting but satisfied, Cliffheart dragged his catch back to the others.

Ooc: Am I part of the patrol because I haven't read all the post and I don't know.
Ic: Wolfheart trudged along growling too herself. Spying she belived was not the answer. She had always been a peace loving cat. Suddenly she heard a vole. She turned around too see it feasting on nuts. Making sure she was down-wind of the vole she crept twoards it. She pounced on the vole making a kill blow. She burried it and went out for more.

Groaning wearily, Bearfur plopped down on the spot, moaning like a kit. "I'm so tired I don't even want to hunt," he grunted, resting his head on the ground. Though Bearfur had absolutely no intentions of falling asleep at that moment, he didn't exactly want to get up and chatter animatedly as he always did. Looking sheepishly up at Cliffheart he chuckled. "I know, no way for a warrior to act," he said, standing stiffly after a moment's contemplation. At the growling of his stomach, he decided that yes it would be better for him to sleep on a full stomach, rather than having that strange gurgling noise emit from his stomach. Nodding in salute to Thunderstep, he asked, "Would you care to join Nightfang and I? Two always works better than one, but three is a solid amount." At this, he eyed Nightfang in amusement. Bearfur's eyes, however, said, 'No arguement, you're coming.'

okay, then. unfortunately loving an idiot who doesn't love me back. but i'm not falling. i just kind of... am. .
Thunderstep smiled warmly back at the tom and nodded in appreciation, "I would love to join you." He sent a look to the dark tabby she-cat that was to join them and saw her jaw drop in protest. However, the look Bearfur gave her closed her mouth and sent him a mutinous look. Thunderstep purred warmly, "You two are strange. I'm surprised that you don't have any little kits bouncing about you. You squabble like old mates." Nightfang bristled at him and turned away. "Right, who'd want to be mates with that useless fur-ball!" She sent a glare over her shoulder, "All he does is tease me." Still Thunderstep only let out a mrrow of amusement.
