Cliffstep staggered groggily from the warriors' den, jaws open in a gaping yawn. He looked up at the sun. It was a beautiful day, and the chocolate warrior always tried to find the best of all sutuations. Like TigerClan abandoning their terrirory to fast. Well, at least LionClan had it back yet. The tom kept looked up and around, breathing lung-fulls of the fresh air. "Good morning, LionClan," he said aloud. Although it may seem that the warrior was lonely and friendless, he kept himself happy, thinking of all the good things in the world. He stalked through the hollow, thinking of how he could start off the day. He still walked with a limp, but it had eased up a bit. Maybe he could begin the day with a bit of action, like jumping on an unexpecting clanmate. He spied Silvermist, soaking up the sun. He dropped to a crouch and slowly stalked forward, then leaped, landing square on her back, laughing. "Gotcha!" he meowed.

Silvermist immediately hissed and tried to get him off. "Get off me you big lump of fur,"she growled in a joking way. She kept shaking her pelt, still trying to pry him off her. "Why are you so happy today?"she asked him as she slip out of his clutches. Sht turned around and started to groom her fur in the back. She was surprised that he 'attacked' her but at least it gave her the chance to stop thinking about the enemy, well for the moment at least. She shook her fur a bit and stood again. She smiles at him and looked at the sky oncemore. Waiting for his answer.

Nightfang lifted a sarcastic brow at Bearfur, "Sounds just like you, laying about in the sun when there is work to be done." She flicked his side with her tail in a joking fashion. "Well, we might as well get started on the patrols if we hope to have anytime to relax later today," despite what she said she remembered that she had just returned from a dawn patrol and her belly growled loudly enough for anyone around to hear. Her face flushed in embarrassment. She laughed awkwardly, "Well... After we eat of course." The she-cat tossed a look in Silvermist and Cliffheart's direction. They seemed to be up and about at this time. They would be sent out on patrol soon enough.
Cliffstep tried to hold on as Silvermist shook his off, but slipped anyway, ending up lying on his back in the dirt, laughing. When the dust cleared, he stood and shook his pelt before answering. "Why aren't you so happy today?" he inquired jokingly, tail flicking. Stretching, the young warrior began to groom his fur as well. "I mean, what is there not to be happy about? We're all here..." Remembering Troutheart, Cliffstep's face turned grave before going on. "...almost all of us, anyway. And we're all together. The sun is shining, the air is fresh, we have kits in the nursery, meaning this clan does have a future, and we have our territory back." He knew that there was a time to be serious and a time to be chipper, and he had shadows of doubt in his mind. He was worried about what TigerClan was up to and why they had abandoned their territory so hastily. It took him a moment to realize he was frowning.

OOC: It wouldn't be weird at all that you were already in the clan. It would actually be easier if you weren't a rogue please ^^" I'll put your profile up but you were already part of the clan to start with.
Also guys since we have an influx of female characters I am going to make a male character of my own ^^

Snickering at Nightfang's noisy stomach, he grabbed a mouse a tossed it at Nightfang, hitting her in the side. Grabbing his own, he trotted back over and gave her an amused look. Dropping it in front of himself, Bearfur retorted, "And I don't always lay in the sun, you know... if I did I would have a lot of weight to lose..." Shugging, he bit a piece of mouse off and started chewing. "Maybe we should go on a hunting patrol with Silvermist and Cliffheart soon. By the time we get back everyone will have eaten so we would get sent out anyways." Nodding to himself, he cheered enthusiastically, "Good idea, Bearfur! Brilliant! Oh, I know. Thank you, thank you." Wiggling his eyebrows awkwardly, he laughed.

okay, then. unfortunately loving an idiot who doesn't love me back. but i'm not falling. i just kind of... am. .
Nightfang sighed softly but couldn't help her small smile. She took a few bites of the mouse he had tossed at her before sitting up and licking her jaws. She spotted Hornetstar coming out of his den, the sun shining off of his golden pelt. That distant, troubled look was ever present on the tom's face. Yet for the moment there was peace. She turned her eyes instead to the medicine cat den where Darkwhisker had just emerged. Behind her Featherheart, looking frailer by the day, glanced up at Hornetstar with her failing eyes. It was way past the time for the she-cat to join the elders but she refused.
Thunderstep ran crashing through the forest. Blood tricked down from the gash in his right ear and the large shoulder wound he had received. He wasn't use to running through Lionclan's territory. His own home territory of Tigerclan was open, though it had many rivers. The golden brown tabby's tongue lolled out of his mouth like a dog's and his limps burned from having been running through the night to escape his blood thirsty clan mates. Thunderstep had argued against his leader and his deputy about how to handle Lionclan. It was wrong to invade their neighbors. Lionclan had done nothing wrong and yet Tigerclan insisted on overtaking them. The skirmish on the ancient Shadowclan border had been merely a test to see how battle ready Lionclan was. They hadn't gotten as many scratches as the Lionclan warriors but they had been outmatched. Now Tigerclan was recruiting outside forces to help them. Despite his loyalty to his clan, Thunderstep knew this wasn't the way of a warrior. He had to warn Hornetstar before it was to late and the poor cats of his clan were sent in to eternity. The tom's heavy dark paws thundered across the undergrowth before he made it to the thorn barrier. Their was a guard outside he didn't recognize but he didn't stop to give greeting. Instead he crashed straight through the tunnel. The tom burst in to the clearing to the astonishment and bewilderment of all of Lionclan. Eyes turned to him with fear and hostility, yet he did not stop until he was at the base of the Highledge. Two warriors were immediately at his flank and spitting threatening words. With pleading green eyes the tom gasped, "H-hornetstar! P-please! You have to listen to me!" His sides heaved with effort. "T-tigerclan prepares for an invasion! You have to get your clan out of here! There is no way for you to win!"
