Staring them down, a sudden flash of anger over came her. Valerie, seeing red for a few seconds barked, "If any of you get in my way I won't hesitate to eliminate you." Turning away, she stalked off once again, sure that they would follow. In her flash of anger, she did not notice Foster's surprised expression. Pressing her fingers to her temples, she noticed absently how could her fingertips were and was glad of the fact. The coolness helped her migrane.

Emili followed behind Dex with Foster still in her arms. Her eyes were determined not to be left behind. She only just found out her name from these people, she wasn't about to let one of them trounce off without her. Shepard followed behind Emili at a slightly slower pace. He looked subdued and Emili couldn't help feel that it was partly her fault for his mood. Still, she had no time to really think about it since Dex was keeping a rather fast pace.
From the tracks that were made on the ground, William had been dragged northward for a while. The gang followed the tracks until they stopped. Emili tossed Dex a look. She was going to announce that the tracks had stopped, but she felt pointing out the obvious would only receive a biting remark from woman. She let Foster down for a moment and scanned the area. Words flashed across her vision and she could see small purple, blue and green clouds appear, as though her eyes had adjusted to see them. She frowned and turned to Dex, "Carbon emissions. Machines took him. Let out gas clouds. I can see them." Emili turned and pointed toward where the few traces of the clouds were. It had been a long time since the machines had been here, but they could not fool Emili's eyes.

Daniel stood beside Emili, looking down to his feet with a slightly dazed expression. He thought of what possibly went wrong, with Emili, Ghost Town's disappearance, and their own failure of the mission. "Where did we go wrong?" The words escaped his lips as if they weren't his own. of which he felt they weren't. Daniel lifted his head and looked from Dex, to Emili. "Were did we go wrong?" He repeated the question. "This mission was sound, there were slight flaws of course, but it was foolproof." Daniel wrapped his arms around his sides. "Now we are lost, there's a malfunction in Emili's memory core, nobody is in any condition to do anything except die, and Ghost Town has been captured." His voice quivered slightly. "It would have been better if we all just perished in the crash." Daniel lowered his head, his green eyes loosing their normal glint. Daniel felt that he had given up. It disgusted him, yet comforted him. A small bitter chuckle erupted from his throat, at the thought that three Bio-Agents, the best of the best, were now just a bunch of soliders doomed to die in a forest.

ooc; i'm so sorry for not posting a reply... ;A; i hate schoolwork and finals.

ic;
Holding her head in her hands, Valerie took a deep, calming breath. Sneaking a glance at Emili, she prayed that she would remember. Straightening her back, she nodded. "All right. Then we follow them?" Cursing herself mentally for the way that her words came out sounding more like a question, she raised an eyebrow as she looked at Emili. Hopefully it isn't too far off... I don't know how much longer Foster can hold up... and Shepard has a concussion so this is dangerous for him, as well.

Emili ignored Shepard's words. She had no idea what ship had crashed, though that would explain the wreckage, but she was certain that life was a better alternative to death. She nodded at Dex, "I follow. You follow me." He turned back to Foster and scooped him back in to her arms. Her eyes tracked the gasses in the air away from their location. On the group went, further than Emili had hoped they needed too. Eventually it got to the point that Emili couldn't quite find traces of the carbon emissions. The group was desperate enough as it was.
The woman frowned to herself but kept up the pace. Foster in her arms was limp and looked to be in great pain. Emili ignored it the best she could but he would squirm and make noises with every movement. They had been traveling for little over and hour and a half at that point and Emili was fed up with it. She let Foster down and turned to Dex, "He can't go on. Fix his leg." She pointed at the wounded limb and sent Dex a pleading look. However the look on Dex's face told the woman, who was truly an AI, that she didn't know how to fix it. Emili made a frustrated sound. This was useless. They weren't going to find William at this rate. Emili turned his face from side to side as if looking for something. Her eyes focused and unfocused as certain lights hit them. She was searching for the same signature of carbon emissions again but could not find them.
Growling Emili looked back at Dex, "Gone. The clouds are gone." She turned and threw her hands up in frustration. "Only similar clouds now. Not the same." Emili stopped for a moment, she hadn't realized that she had only been tracking the one signature. Off in the distance appeared to be a wall of carbon emission signatures. It was a road, and one used rather frequently. It was odd for a road on the ground to be used this day-and-age. Usually someone trying to avoid detection would use an unmarked road like this. Telling by the signature of gasses Emili knew that these came from the same place the others had. Turning to the others she grinned brightly, "Machines! They travel where the clouds are! We find one, get on one, we find William!"

"Get on one? On one what? On an enemy vehicle?" questioned Valerie with a raised brow. Since the crash, Emili's speaking was child-like and incredibly hard to decipher at times. Pausing, she pressed her fingers to her temples, applying slight pressure. "All right. Whatever will get us to Ghost Town." The determination in her eyes was now hidden by concentration and concern. For Emili and Ghost Town.

Emili's brows knitted, "Yes. Occupy enemy vehicle. Was I unclear?" She sent Shepard a confused look. Emili didn't understand why Dex didn't understand what she had said. "Road used often. Vehicle coming soon. We wait here," She pointed toward the side of the road where dense trees and shrubs were. They'd wait until some vehicle passed and attempt to get on it. Emili scooped Foster up in to her arms and led the way toward the road. She didn't bother to observe if the other two were following. Setting Foster down to lean against a tree, Emili crouched at the edge of the shrubs. Sooner or later one would show up.
About a half an hour of waiting, Emili noticed something on her vision. Words and lines flashed by and she knew it meant that something was approaching. Emili's excitement rose and she knew that her heart should be racing faster. Yet something was wrong. Her chest remained still, the only thing that happened was warmth radiated from her. A soft hum resontated from within her as if some sort of core was drawing more power, meeting her excitement. Emili frowned. Was what Shepard and Dex said true? Was she an AI? A robot? That would explain the words across her eyes and the lack of breath required.
Shaking her head, Emili focused back on the approaching target. The words on Emili's vision told her that the vehicle was letting out similiar carbon levels as the one that had taken William. Turning to the others Emili signalled for them to get ready. Crouching low she observed as a caravan approached ever closer. Four large hover transports were traveling between two escort hover tanks. The escorts looked extremely welled armed and definitly capable of destroying any enemy ships or land machines. THe large hover transports had no windows and no real visible breaching point. Emili's mouth formed a sneer as she turned back to Dex and hissed, "No entrance."
She turned back to the transports as the grew closer. As the first transport passed them by Emili saw a small access ladder that led to a matinence shaft at the top. Emili spun back to the others, a grin on her face, "Move!" Grabbing Foster and slinging him acorss her shoulders like a wounded animal she left the shelter of the shrubs and ducked between the transports and leapt on to the ladder. She latched her free hand on to the ladder and held ever tighter to Foster with the other.

"ENOUGH!" William shouted desperately as the electric shocks raced through his body. The dark haired man was strapped to a metal table with small circular holes in a grid-like pattern that dug in to his back painfully. The table was suspended from the cieling in a contraption that allowed it to be lowered or raised by a motorized crank. At the moment the table was half lowered in to a vat of water so that half of his sprawled body was submerged.
Periodcally a low hum would sound around him and he would feel his body tighten. He knew what ws coming next. Ten agonizing second near lethal levels of electricty was conducted through the water to the metal table and in to his body. He'd scream and roar in pain every time. At first he resisted, he'd toughed it out but after an hour he'd fainlly roared in anger and desperation.
The chains cranked the table out of the water and the pain stopped. William gasped and a few tears streamed from the corners of his eyes. Not because he was sad but because he couldn't control it. The man's trembled and he gasped with spasms. "L-let me out of here!" his voice cracked in pain and he pulled against to the straps holding him down. Pain flowed through the raw sores where the straps had bitten in to his flesh.
A voice sounded in the room, "See students? Bio-Agents are resiliant. We've had WC-1863 in this room for an hour and a half repeating the same test and didn't even call out for help until about a half hour ago. Amazing isn't it? Well, it's about time we let this one have a rest." The voice stopped and the heavy metal door leading in to the room swung open. William's spasms had begun to subside but so did his conciousness. As his eyes closed he lost all track of time. His sore body felt nothing and he was grateful for that.
When he opened his eyes he found himself in his cell, not strapped to his bed this time. He was laying on his uncomfortable bed and he was never more glad to be on it. He curled himself on his bed and rocked himself back to sleep. This nightmare-ish toture had only just begun.

ooc; i am so sorry my replies are slow...

With a keen look, Valerie sprinted after Emili and copied the action, clinging onto the ladder with such a tight grip her knuckles had turned white. Her breaths were slightly shallow and labored due to the sudden strain of her muscles but it quickly evened out as she looked to Foster. "You all right there, Foster?" At the response of his moan and a muttering of something discernible, she grinned. "Good to hear."

Daniel followed after Dex and Emili, a slight heavy feeling tightening his chest. They could rescue Ghost Town and probably repair Emili's memories, but they could just easliy fail. Their ship was blown to pieces, so there was no way getting back on their own. Daniel let out a small sigh as his empty green eyes flicked up and down the railing of the ladder. The cold steel was refreshing on his warm flesh. "We're going to make it out of this," Daniel directed his attention toward Dex. His mind was unsure that it was a wise choice to give the command to him, "Right?"

Emili ignored the exchange between Dex and Foster and continued still to ignore Shepard's question to the woman. Instead she continued to climb the ladder. It took a while and with Foster like dead weight in her arms it was difficult to climb. Still, she made her way to the top and in to the maintenance shaft. The tunnel wasn't really big enough for someone carrying someone else to fit through, so she had to push Foster in to the tunnel and follow after him. The man was still in no condition to move on his own so Emili helped him anyway she could. They had to crawl forward for a good while before the access shaft opened up in different directions. Emili's eyes adjusted and she could see words and strange graphs move across them. They told her that this sort of vehicle had a few different ways of getting to a safe haven aboard the ship.
Frowning Emili told Foster, "Go right, easier to hide." The man said nothing and instead crawled along pathetically through the tunnels. Emili didn't understand why the access tunnels needed to be tunnels. Why not an access hallway? That'd be nice. The AI followed behind Foster until the tunnel ended. The only opening out of the tunnel was blocked by a grate made of steel. Foster wouldn't have enough strength to push past so Emili pushed herself forward. She heard the man hiss in pain as she squeezed by him. Her eyes softened for a moment, "Sorry." He said nothing and she paid him no more attention.
She turned forward and touched a hand to the grate. She felt nothing but the words on her vision told her just how much pressure needed to be applied to open it. Emili's mouth twitched before she placed her other hand on the grate and started pushing. She didn't want to kick it in case of someone hearing. So she pushed as hard as she dared and until a low squeal let out. Emili pushed harder and the grate made a deep 'pop' sound before it fell away from the opening.
Emili crawled forward to see a room filled with tools, tool chests, lockers, cleaning supplies and various other things that made it look like a janitors closet. Crawling forward until she was out completely, Emili looked about warily. The room was small enough for a group of four to hide in comfortably and without detection. Motioning for the others to follow her out, Emili went to the door and listened. Her ears made strange noises before she could pick up different frequencies. None of them rose any alarms so that meant they were safe, for now. The AI turned to see the others helping Foster prop himself against a wall.
Emili's eyes held compassion for the man, "Find William. Get better. We run. Live." Emili wished her words convey more than they did, but her speech processor still wasn't working properly. For now, they'd have to be patient.
