At this Craterpaws ears pricked up Shadowclan, could rule the forest? All this news was being dumped on him so quickly, but he enjoyed it. "Do you swear to remain loyal to your clan with this knowledge, to die if you break this oath?" Craterpaw bowed yet again and said "I swear to my clan, may death be the penalty" Thunderstorm knew he could trust his apprentice and he nodded and sniffed the air for any other clan scents, when he smelled nothing, he whispered to Craterpaw, "Our medicine cat has a secret store of the sacred spread eagle berries, with these berries Eating just a mouse bite of one can increase the power of your sent by a ton, then your vision will be able to see any moving thing within 20 tree lengths away from you, then you will be able to attack and kill much easier! The other clans know these berries as Death berries, because we Shadowclan cats spread this rumor at the fourtrees saying that the berries killed a cat of our clan, they can kill you, but only if you eat one whole berry, not a mouse bite, try one,"

"Get away from my kit Thunderstorm!" yelled a mysterious cat that hoped out of know where, she didnt even resemble Craterpaws mother at all. The cat swiped away the spread eagle berry and jumped on a surprised Thunderstorm, as she pinned him down she yelled, "You killed my lizardpaw, and dont you dare kill my Craterkit!" through gasps Thunderstorm breathed "What, are, you, talking, about?" "Dont you play coy with me! I crept into the forest hunting for prey when I thought Id see my kit on her first day as an apprentice, you said these same words to her as she took a mouse bite and slowly suffered,then died! when I told Shadowstar she wouldnt believe me! When I tried to attack you, brother, I was deserted! Right before I left I had Craterkit, and I will not let you harm him!" Suddenly Thunderstorm grinned, he said "Well if you kill me it will just show that she was right to make you rouge and she'll never believe you or your kit!" The cat shivered as Craterpaw looked over at her in disbelief "Why'd you do it?" She asked "Because, Shatterclaw, before Sparrowtail died, our former medicine cat if you remember, She prophesized A kit of your own would someday be leader of shadow clan, and have us make peace with the other clans, I just wouldnt have it! Are you satisfied? Is that the information you wanted? If so release me rouge and be on your way!"
