Awesome can't wait! By the way, I am now editing Flamepelt's chapter for grammar only. I don't add more to the story or anything, I just make it easier to read and fix grammar mistakes. ;D
The she-cat, Shatterclaw, looked stunned, as well did Craterpaw. Shatterclaw took one final blow to Thunderstorm, leaving him unconscious. She backed off into the woods. Craterpaw could barely stand. His own mentor, kill him? His mother, a rouge? It couldn't be true!
Before Craterpaw could run back to camp and tell Shadowstar what had just happened, Thunderstorm stood. He sneered at Craterpaw, "Dont you tell another cat this, I swear by Starclan you will be moondust by the time I am finished with you!"Craterpaw gave a single nod and crept nervously back to camp with his mentor.
When he returned, Craterpaw dashed off to the apprentices den. All the while, Thunderstorm was watching him closely. Once he was in the safety of the warm den, Floodpaw bounced up to greet Craterpaw. "Craterpaw! You're back!" She exclaimed. "Gingerhair's just had her kits! Will you come to the nursery with me?"
Craterpaw finally regained control of his body and stopped shaking. With a soft mew of agreement the two apprentices bounded off toward the nursery.
"Good evening Gingerhair!" Mewed Craterpaw, dipping his head respectfully. "Are these your kits?"
Gingerhair nodded and introduced them. "This is Tearkit, for his pelt is as soft as a tear, and this is Hollowkit, for he reminds me greatly of the hollow I played in as a kit."
"These kits will be great additions to our clan!" commented Floodpaw.
Craterpaw heard a rustle in the bushes, making him jump and shiver. Expecting to see Thunderstorm jump out and pin him down, she readied herself for attack. But instead he saw Flowerpaw with her mentor, Thornfur, with fresh kill in their mouths.
"All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Great Stone for a clan meeting."
Craterpaw slowly walked to sit underneath the great stone. "Shadowclan, Berrykit has reached the age of five moons, and with leaf-bare approaching, I hope this young she-cat will be of great use to our clan!" Shadowclan mewed there agreement.
"Berrykit, you will now be known as Berrypaw. Your mentor shall be Grayfur, may starclan guide your way!" Craterpaw watched as Berrypaw touched noses with her new mentor and with Shadowstar. As the clan began to chant, she crept off to the apprentices den for a long, awaited sleep.
Ug! sorry, b4 I sent it it showed it to me in paragraphs, so I'll try sending it again, if its not in paragraphs PM me back and I will edit it into paragraphs,
I'll just post it, sorry for the grammar mess ups people,
When Craterpaw woke he heard his mentor scream his name, startled, he nervously crept up to meet his mentor for a day of training. Today I will teach you a fighting technique, said thunderstorm when they reached the rock of apprentice training You already know how to fight, but you use old tricks that all cats are aware of, it is time I taught you a new one. With a mew of agreement Craterpaw sat and listened to his mentor.
When Craterpaw returned to camp, relieved he wasnt killed, he wandered of to meet Floodpaw. He found her tearing away at a mouse and realized how hungry he was. He grabbed a fat vole and sat next to Floodpaw so they could talk.
Hey Floodpaw! said Craterpaw, trying to sound like his usual self. Hi Craterpaw! How are you? I just heard Berrypaw caught a big squirrel today, on her first day of training! Trying to look completely stunned he gasped. Oh yes, and guess what el Floodpaw? was she even listening? He noticed her nose was tipped up and sniffing the air. He to tried to smell what she was smelling and there was a fresh sent of, of, he couldnt tell, until he heard Floodpaw exclaim Rouges!
He recognized the scent now, getting stronger, and stronger. Without thinking he dashed of towards Shadowstar who was outside her Den eating a small finch. Rouges are coming! Yowled Craterpaw to his leader. Floodpaw and I scented them growing stronger, I believe they will attack! Shadowstar sniffed the air and yelled out Prepare for battle! I want the kits and queens in the nursery now! The clan could now smell the rouge, they followed there leaders instructions and circled the camp.
Why would rouges attack us? asked Craterpaw I am not sure, but I want you to prepare for battle, the time for questions is not now. replied Shadowstar. With a nod of respect towards his leader he stationed himself by Floodpaw to fight.
When the rouges burst out of the trees, he recognized the rouge who claimed to be his mother. The rouge began to look around, Craterpaw took this opportunity to leap on her, with a snarl he took a paw to her ear and another paw to her nose. Craterpaw, oh my how youve grown! You will die rouge, You are not my mother and my loyalty is to my clan! I understand son, at that instant the rouge leapt up and ran into the bushes.
Here's another story, sorry if there are any grammar mistakes!
Craterpaw was so confused, was she is mother? If so why would she lead a band of rouges to attack his camp? It was all too confusing. Craterpaws mind was brought back to earth when a large rouge hit him with a forepaw. With a loud yelp Craterpaw jumped on to the rouge and pinned him down.
Aiming for the rouges eyes Craterpaw gave the rouge a large swipe and a nip on his throat to remember him by. When he released the rouge he watched as it vanished deep into the forest.
Scatter! yelped a dark gray tabby, and as if he were there leader the rouges ran out of their camp like kits! With a yelp of triumph from his leader she trotted over to the Great stone and she called for a clan meeting.
Well fought Shadowclan, well fought, those rouges I doubt will ever come back and face our clan again. Purrs of triumph and agreement rose through Shadowclan, but the noise was hushed by their leader.
We have a little work to do to repair the damage that was done to our dens, so I want Floodpaw, Craterpaw, and Grayfur to go out and fetch sticks for the dens, the rest of you take a quick patrol around camp and report anything you find. The cats nodded and went to do there jobs. Oh, and Thunderstorm, Said Shadowstar I would like to see you in my den. Craterpaw saw his mentor nod and follow his leader into her den, limping.
When Craterpaw got back he went to drop his sticks at the apprentices den. When that was done he heard his leader yowl for another meeting. I have some announcements to make! she yelled. The camp is safe, and the dens were hardly ruined, but I do have a sad scrap of news.
Thuderstorm told me that Shatterclaw, the rouge who was formally in shadowclan was with this group or cats, now that means we need to keep watch on our camp, and apprentices dont go anywhere without a warrior.
It's good, but everything happens much too fast... the rogues appeared in teh last sentence of the last chapter nad they're gone in teh very first sentence of this chapter.... And there's other fast things like that. ;D
Rigues just don't come in to swipe at a few cats and then leave. If they ever did feel the need to kill a clan for some bizzarre reason, they'd stay for much longer then.
