The Clans Unite- Riverclan (Task Three Up, Please Come Help!)

In the Task Game (Clans Unite), Task THREE is up and ready to be completed! So let's get on it immediately!

TASK 3: Warriors Booklet

Introduction:
You are mentoring an apprentice, and part of mentoring is teaching them the history of an important cat who will always be remembered, dead or alive. It is your job to present information to them in a fun and creative way.

How To Play: Your clan must create a booklet on a famous feline in teh series of your choice. Examples include Cinderpelt, Firestar, or one of your own.
The book must be at least four pages long. It can be more if you'd like. Each page should not be larger than 500 x 400 and all pages must be the same size. At least three members from your clan must participate, whether it's writing text or putting the booklet together with a creative background. Here's what should be on each page:
1. Cover + Title
2. Introduction
3. History
4. Fun Facts

If you wanted to do more than four pages for brownie points, soem ideas could be a quiz, Table of Contents, Accomplishments page, or and idea of your own!

Please Avoid:
1. Crossword Puzzles, Word Searches, or any kind of game besides quizzes.
2. Using improper grammar, spelling, etc.

Rules:
1. Three clanmates or more must participate in the review.
2. Do not hog all the work.
3. No cheating.
4. Have fun with it! This is a creative task.

Judgement: I will be judging with the mods. The booklets will be judged on quality, neatness, effot, and creativity.

For Added Fun: If your booklet wins, your clan will recieve a personalized clan banner!

Deadline: The final booklet is due Friday, April 4th. This gives you about three weeks to make this booklet. That is PLENTY of time, so I don't plan on extending the date.

Warriors Series [Shown above: Book 1, Into the Wild]

Name: Lets just call it the Warriors Series.
Author:
Erin Hunter [who is actually three people under one name, but I won't get into that.]
Type:
Large series (and I'm talking large).
Age Range:
about 10-16 Id guess.

Plot:The books are about four clans of cats living in a forest with a whole new life story then what were used to. There are different positions such as apprentice, warrior, leader, and medicine cat. Medicine cats are the healer and the closest to StarClan, which is like a heaven to the cats. The leader was granted nine lives by starclan to lead their clan. Warriors hunt and protect their clan from dangers like cats from other clans, rogues (clanless cats), and other animals. Apprentices are warriors or medicine cats in training. Follow the cats' journeys and adventures as you explore the clans and warriors. Trudge through their lands as one of them in the same fur and paws. You'll feel the magic!

First Book Thoughts:
I decided to give a description of the first book considering most of you havent started this series. Well, Rusty is your ordinary housecat whose life gets turned around when he ventures off into the forest. He meets Graypaw, an apprentice in a clan called Thunderclan. Rusty gets pulled in to the clan life and the clan leader, Bluestar, lets him join the clan. She gives him the name Firepaw, and he is now a new apprentice. Life is tough in a clan when your former life was a kittypet (housecat). But what Firepaw doesnt know if that he is making warrior history with every paw step her takes. And as the future of Thunderclan unfolds, Firepaw will have to do everything he can in order to show his clanmates hes no kittypet.

Final Thoughts on All Books:
Some of you people may not be cat people. Well, trust me, neither am I. However, I loved these books. Theyre my favorite series. This goes to show that even if you dislike the creatures, they can still be good books. I love these books! Theyre so magical, and I can never put one down. I read all day until Im finished. Not kidding here. Dont miss out. If you think youd enjoy the Warriors Series, go to your library and check out the first book. If it doesnt sound like your style, just dont get them, duh. =)

Still Don't Believe Us? Here are some OTHER opinions for you!

-I thought this book had a veerry good plot. It was skillfully written and i really enjoyed it. I though that the whole of the first series was very good as well. It was expertly written. It kept my attention and took soe twists and turns I didnt really expect. The only thing i didnt like was how quick they went by. It was too fast! =( All in all, it was a very fun read.

-This is an enjoyable series, and it didn't take a month to read!! The characters are love able and the plot is mind grabbing! You'll never look at wild cats the same way again!(that is a good thing)

-Verry good books; it had a lot of twists to it. MY favorite in the first series would have to be Forest of Secrets (the third book). I hardly ever cry while I am reading but that made me.

At least two more people must add/participate to this review. Please post your versions of the review with things added or taken away. ALL OPINIONS ARE ACCCEPTED, ALTHOUGH WE MAY NOT USE ALL OF THEM. BUT THEY ARE WELCOME! We want to win because we have the lowest amount of prey, and we don't want it to be stolen by the rogues! Please be helpful and help us fight like those rogues have never seen!

The Clans Unite- Riverclan

i'll attempt to rewrite the plot, my worst subject is LA so i'm expecting it to be revised multiple times;

Plot: The books are about four clans of cats living in a forest with a whole new life story then what were used to.

Some of it is the same but.......
Main changes(please argue these if you don't agree):
-Take out opinions, that is for the thoughts section
-rewording
-Since med cat was explained, all the others are explained

of course this could be completely wrong like i said LA is my worst subject.....

do you mean the origional series or the new prophecy too?

ok.... The first book was basically about how rusty came to the forest for a bit o adventure. The name is kind of self explanitory. Then he becomes a member of the thunderclan and gets apprenticed. (that is truly all i remember.) I thought this book had a veerry good plot. It was skillfully written and i really enjoyed it. picture of firestar.

I though that the whole of the first series was very good as well. It was expertly written. It kept my attention and took soe twists and turns I didnt really expect. The only thing i didnt like was how quick they went by. It was too fast! =( All in all, it was a very fun read.

Okay, the deadline is the 14th everybody! Here's what you can do to help:
-Submit a comment to appear in the review. Something like what Icepaw wrote. make saure your grammar is perfect and everything. ;D During these comments, please do not describe what happened in the books. Just sum up what you loved about the books, such as the action.
-Submit a picture you think would fit nicely. It would be best if you drew the picture or if you found a great warriors action picture online or something.
-Post a different part that could go in the review and we'll consider it!

Please help! The deadline is closer than you think! ^___________^
