Lightwing glanced sypathecticly at Rainpelt. It must be hard to sit here all the time. "At least you'll have beautiful kits once you're times comes." Lightwing meowed softly. Sh'ed never get that chance with her mate. She padded out of the den, and walked straight out of the camp, heading toward the IceClan territory.

Lightwing ducked under the low branches, and made her way to the clan's claring. Shocked stares and glares burned into her pelt. She headed towards the leader's den. "Nettlestar," Lightwing dipped her head. "I must speak with the warrior by the name of Frozenwhisker." "Wha- why?" The brown tabby tom meowed sternly. His amber gaze remained calm. "He..." Lightwing paused. "He does not belong in your clan." "What?! Are you mouse-brained? He is pure IceClan blood!" The leader hissed in dismay. "No, he's StormClan's blood. He's a cat named Icetalon's great-grandson, whom happens to be a StormClan ancestor." Nettlestar paused, shock creeping in his eyes. "So he is." "You knew?" "Yes, I did. But he is also part IceClan, for his great-grandmother is our ancestor."

Thunderheart dropped a leg and knodded, signalling Blizzardclaw to rest a minute so he could catch his breath, badgers weren't the lightest of creatures. "How far to the dog's territory?" he asked, hoping it wasnt very far.
Skyleaf led the patrol to the edge of the territory. "I'll call them," he explained. He turned and let out a deafening yowl. He noted his Clanmates tense as the sound of pawsteps became louder. Within minutes two large wild dogs stood before them, their tongues lolling out the side of their mouths playfully. "Hey Skyleaf!" barked the smaller of the two. Skyleaf dipped his head. "Hello Cricket. Hello Dusk." The large black wolf dipped his head, panting excitedly. "Where have you all been? We haven't seen you near your den lately." Mosstail padded up beside his brother. "We joined StormClan so Skyleaf could be with Rainpelt. She's mothering kits." Cricket perked his ears up. "Kits? That's wonderful! Congradulations, Skyleaf!" He bent down and attacked the gray tom with is saliva covered tongue. Skyleaf saw his Clanmates' eyes widen with terror. They think their dangerous! he thought humorously. "Thank you, Cricket." Dawn stepped up. "How can we help you, Skyleaf? It looks as if you've had a badger problem." He nodded pointedly toward the badger carcass with a mischeivous look in his eyes, remembering an inside joke between him and his close friend. "Yep. This mouse-brain thought it would be fun to invade on our territory, and I thought you might be interested." Cricket lept high in the air. "Yes!" he howled. "We haven't had badger in moons!" He raced across the border line and grabbed the fresh-kill. Dawn gave him a warning look, signaling that he would be getting an ear-full later. "Thank you, Skyleaf," he said smiling. "We'll let you get back to your clan. And be sure to visit us soon. Star and the pups will be wanting to see you." He flicked his fluffy tail and bounded off across the moor. Skyleaf turned toward his Clanmates in time to see their looks of disgust. Oh dear...
"So...some of your best friends are....dogs?" Blizzardcalw watched the dogs leave. "I didn't know that dogs would ever want to be friends with cats, especially ones that are very big. Think you could introduce me sometime?" Blizzardcalw asked smiling.
