"I need you to check this wound on my shoulder. I got it in a badger attack then went out to get rid of its body," he stopped and peered around Lightwing to the nervous tom behind her. He mewed warmly with a smile to the gray and white warrior, "Who might you be?"

Before Frozenwhisker could answer, Lightwing meowed. "Long story, Ebonystar. I'll tell you after I've checked this wound of your's." She looked at it for a moment, and smiled sweetly to the muscular leader. "Nothing a few marigold leaves and some cobwebs can't heal. Come with me to my den." She nudged Frozenwhisker forward, and headed off to the medicine den.

Ebonystar stifly got up and followed. He collapsed in to a nest inside the medicine cat den. He looked back to the nervous tom and smiled warmly again, "Dont mind her she is rough around the edges but once you get to know her she can be quite sweet. Now before she interupts again, what is your name?" he titled his head to the side and waited for an answer.

"F-Frozenwhisker." He meowed nervously. These two were the only cats that have ever treated him warmly. Lightwing dropped a few thyme leaves infront of the white tom. "Chew these, dear, they'll calm you down. Soon, you'll be welcomed by the others. But for now, I'm going to get the marigold." Frozenwhisker looked up at her, grateful for her hospitality. He began to chew the sweet tasting leaves. Lightwing came back with yellow pulp, chewed up marigold leaves, and sreapd it across Ebonystar's wound.

"Lightwing told me that I'm from StormClan, and not from IceClan." Frozenwhisker meowed quietly. Lightwing nodded, and continued rubbing the pulp on Eboystar's wound. "He is from both clans, and he chose to come with me to live here." She paused to glance at her leader. "If you agree to accept him, that is." She left quickly to get cobwebs before the pulp wore off.

Ebonystar sat for a few moments examing the gray and white warrior, "If he is of both clans than i have no objections. It is his right to come here." he nodded encouragingly to the younger tom. "I think you will fit in nicely here Frozenwhisker. Stormclan has a legacy of having the strongest and most loyal cats of all of the clans. I have no doubt you will be the same. It took a lot of courage to come here. I like that in a warrior." he purred warmly.

Skyleaf watched Ebonystar limp toward the medicine den, making sure he didn't lose his footing and open his wound again. Once he was sure that the leader made it safely, he bounded into the nursery. Rainpelt welcomed him with a deep purr. "Hello there, handsome. Take care of that badger?" She eyed him curiously, searching for any signs of injury. "Yep," he mewed happily, planting himself beside her. "You'll never guess where we took the thing, though." Rainpelt turned her eyes up and thought about it for a moment. "You got me," she finally admitted. "Who?" "Cricket and Dusk," Skyleaf purred. "Nuh uh!" Rainpelt cried gleefully. Then suddenly her eyes became bitter. "Fox dung," she hissed. Skyleaf eyed her puzzled. "I'm missing all the fun because I'm stuck in here!" The gray tom chuckled. "Well, you'll have your paws full soon enough," he purred, nodding toward his mate's swollen belly. "How much longer now? A few weeks?" "A week and a half," Rainpelt purred warmly, all bitterness forgotten.
