Lightwing · ThunderClan Warrior

"I don't know," Lightwing murmured. Where was the tom? He should be here to see his kits for the first time! "But I cannot leave you."
Lightwing saw Rainpelt belly suddenly lurch. "Brace youself." Lightwing meowd, getting excited. "Because here they come!"
* * * (I em NOT going to talk about bellies bursting and what not! XD)
"Here's the first one!" Lightwing gasped lightly. "When I hand it to you, lick it so it can be cleaned. Mean while, just push!"

Rainpelt · ThunderClan Warrior

Rainpelt nodded, preparing herself for her first kit. Her tongue hung out in exaustion. Suddenly, she felt an unbarable pain, worse than the rest. She pushed as hard as she could, then collapsed back on the floor. She heard Lightwing sigh with delight. Rainpelt peeked over her shoulder and saw a small black scrap lying there, mewling pitifully. Her heart lept with emotion. That's my kit!

Skyleaf was padding through the trees, a rabbit clamped securly in his jaws. "C'mon, Mosstail!" he called through his prey's fur. His brother lept through the bracken, his mouth full with freshly killed prey.
"'Ood 'untin', 'uh?" he purred.
Suddenly, Featherwhisker dashed up to them, her eyes wide. Skyleaf tilted his head, puzzled. "It's...Rainpelt...kits." Skylead immeadiately understood. He dropped his fresh-kill and pelted toward the camp. He hardly noticed the other cats staring at him as he raced into the nursery.
"RAINPELT?!" he yowled.

Lightwing · ThunderClan Warrior

"Skyleaf! Frozenwhisker!" Lightwing yowled. "Come here!"
Frozenwhisker popped his head into the nurserey, his expression turning shocked. "Kits?"
"Come here and clean it." Lightwing meowed calmly. Frozenwhisker hesitated and quickly lapped the mewling kit.
"It'll be okay," Frozenwhisker whispered softly to the kit. "The world you've entered has been graced by your presence."
Lightwing looked at Frozenwhisker questionably, then continued to encourage Rainpelt. "C'mon! Push! Frozenwhisker's taking care of your kit, and Skyleaf has come. You can do it."
Frozenwhisker continued lapping the kit, his rough tounge wasking it's tiny black head. He looked at it, and thought.
"Don't just stand there, Frozenwhisker," Lightwing piped up. "Lick!"
"Twilightkit," Frozenwhisker thought outloud. "Would be a nice name."
"That's not your decision, dear." Lightwing purred. She was happy that Frozenwhisker had grown to like the kit.

Rainpelt · ThunderClan Warrior

Skyleaf crouched over Rainpelt. "Come on, sweetheart, you can do it!" he urged licking her head. "Push!"
Rainpelt let out another cry. She could feel another one coming. How many could be in there. She pushed harder and heard another mewling sound added to the black kit's. She rested her head on Skyleaf's shoulder, panting still as she prepared herself for the next kit. "What...does...it...look...like?" she asked Skyleaf.
"It's a cream colored kit," he purred. Rainpelt smiled weakly.

OOC: It'm going to have four kits, if that's okay. If not it's alright.

Lightwing grasped the kit gently, and handed it to Frozenwhisker. "Don't go on about their names," She meowed. "That's the parent's decision. Oh, how she wished to have kits of her own. She looked down at the mewling scraps, emotion overflowing inside of her.
Before she knew it, tears began to leak from her glassy eyes. She ignored them, and continued to help get the next kit out without a word.
Frozenwhisker looked back at the black kit, thinking about it. For some reason, it seemed to give Frozenwhisker a light of happiness inside of him. He worked on the ginger she-kit, but continued to stare at the black one.
Lightwing wiped the tears from her eyes, and looked up at the two parents. "Oh, I almost forgot! This is Frozenwhisker. Icetalon's... great-grandson..." She siad the words slowly, thinknig hard about the warrior she loved. More tears came from her eyes.

Rainpelt · ThunderClan Warrior

Rainpelt yowled in pain, hardly noticing Lightwing's words. She felt one more kit come and after one final push, the last kit came. One was dark blue, just like Skyleaf, and the other was light gray. She purred weakly and collapsed on Skyleaf's shoulder. "Skyleaf..." she sighed.
"Yes, love, I'm here."
"I love you."
Skyleaf smiled crookedly and licked her between the ears. "I know, love. Me too." He reached over and pulled the two remaining kits toward him gentlely. Rainpelt looked at them warmly and began to lick the gray he-kit. She felt Lightwing place the black kit to her belly and the kit quickly began to suckle her milk. Not much more afterward, she watched the cream-colored kit being carried over as well. Then the blue-furred kit, and the light gray kit. Rainpelt purred in delight, as she watched her newborn kits enjoying their first meal.

Ebonystar padded slowly to the nursery his shoulder crying in protest. "Rainpelt?" he called in, "Is she alright?" he heard the mewling of tiny kits and his mind flew back to when his were born. He limped away not going to ruin the moment for the new parents. He laid back down near Rosetail, "I guess the shoulder isn't as good as i thought, he made his most charming smile toward his mate and rested his head on her flank.
